Colossians 1:9-14 (NLT)

Prayer

May God our Father of our Lord Jesus Christ give you His grace and peace? I always pray for you, and I give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to fill you with His love for all His people. I continue praying for you ever since I heard about you. I ask God to give you a complete understanding of what He wants you to do in your lives, and I ask Him to make you all wise with spiritual wisdom. Then the way you live your lives will honour and please the Lord, and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, you will learn to know God better and better.

I also pray that you will be strengthened with His glorious power so that you will have all the patience and endurance you need to fulfill His plans for your lives. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the inheritance that belongs to God’s holy people, who live in the light? He has rescued you from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and He has brought you into the Kingdom of His dear Son. The Son of God was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We praise and give God all the praise and thanksgiving for purchasing our freedom with Jesus’ blood; He has forgiven us all our sins. Amen

Colossians 3:16-17

Prayer

Heavenly Father, let the Word of Christ, in all His richness, live in our hearts, minds, spirits and souls. Keep us wise in everything we do. Thank you for teaching us through the Holy Spirit of God and giving us Your counsel. Help us be disciplined and constantly educate us to listen to You and also to one another. Let us sing songs of praise and thanksgiving to God with thankful hearts. Whatever we do or say, let us represent our precious Lord Jesus Christ in a godly and righteous way all the while giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Amen

'Today's Daily Prayer'

Jeremiah 1:5-10 (NLT)

"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as My spokesman to the world."

"O Sovereign LORD, “I said, "I can't speak for you! I'm too young!" Don't say that, "the LORD replied, "for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the LORD, have spoken!" Then the LORD touched my mouth and said, "See, I have put My Words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. You are to uproot some and tear them down, to destroy and overthrow them. You are to build others up and plant them."

Prayer

O my precious God, You have formed me in my mother's womb. Before I was born You set me apart and appointed me as Your spokeswoman to the world.

 "No One Will Be Able to Defeat You."

Joshua 1:5-9 (NCV)

No one will be able to defeat you all your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forget you.

 “Joshua, be strong and brave! You must lead these people so they can take the land that I promised their fathers I would give them. Be strong and brave. Be sure to obey all the teachings my servant Moses gave you. If you follow them exactly, you will be successful in everything you do. Always remember what is written in the Book of the Teachings. Study it day and night to be sure to obey everything that is written there. If you do this, you will be wise and successful in everything. Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go.”

Prayer

Gracious God, thank You for making me strong and brave. You are giving me the confidence to go ahead with You. I will obey everything You are teaching me and follow the leading of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God. I acknowledge I need to rely upon, depend upon and lean upon the Holy Spirit of God. He will equip and empower me and enable me to accomplish the plans God has predestined for me to do. If I follow God's instructions exactly, I will be wise and successful in everything. I will remember that He has commanded me to be strong and brave. I shall not be afraid, because the Lord my God is with me everywhere I go. He has gone before me and has prepared the way; all I have to do is follow Him in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen
