New Blog Post: ‘The Lord Will Make You Successful’

Deuteronomy 30:9-11,14 NLT The Lord your God will make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and your fields will produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will delight in being good to you as He was to your ancestors. The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey His voice and keep the commands and laws written in the Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.
This is the command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand or perform. The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I set my mind and open up it up to the mind of Christ and not on earthly things. My mind and nature is open to the work of the Holy Spirit and I submit under His control. I will think on the things that matter rather than on the things that come to nothing in the end. I
Mediate and commit myself to the Holy Spirit of God knowing I cannot do things on my own.  I ask You, Holy Spirit, to do the work in me, so I submit to Your control and think on the things You want me to do in my life. You, the Lord my God will make me successful in everything I do.
You, Lord, will delight in me if I obey Your voice and keep the commands and laws written in the Book of the Law, and if I turn to the Lord my God with all my heart and soul.
I turn to You and I will bring the message of the Gospel of Christ, You, have placed within heart and speak the words You have put upon my mouth and lips to the very heart of Your people. I will obey You in whatever You ask of me to do.

This is the command You are giving me today and is not too difficult for me to understand or perform. The message is very close at hand; it is on my lips and within my heart so that I can obey it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Waiting Time’

Psalm 31:15 ”My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my foes and those who pursue me and persecute me.”

Prayer

Father, I confess before You I do get impatient at times, because I do so want to see Your glory instantly. Forgive me. My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of all my enemies and those who pursue and persecute me, for I am Your child.
I know You are in control of my life and You will always do what is right and best for me. I have at times forgotten how to be happy and enjoy my life in the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord, that You have been offering me. Sometimes, I have felt bogged down by all of my troubles, family, and friends that I lose sight of all the joy and happiness You bring to my life. Teach me how to ‘Let Go and Let God’.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, help me to enjoy my life day by day, as I wait upon You help me to remind myself that I am waiting for You - I know the wait will always be worth it.
God, You, want me to live – and enjoy the waiting time. I will not just focus on receiving or moving on, but will focus on relishing the moments God has given me to relax, and enjoy them as gifts from God Himself.

From this day forward whatever plans You have made for my life, I shall take it one step at a time as I see the daily miracles of God in the awesome power of Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘A Blessing’

Deuteronomy 5:29 NIV That it might go well with them.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You call me Your friend thank You for being the best friend I could ever have. Everything, You have heard from Your Father, You also have made known to me. I am greatly honoured by this. The secret of the Lord is with me.  I fear God and will keep all His commandments, so it may go well with me.
Lord, I will follow You and be obedient to whatever it is You require from me. You will not always explain the reasons to me why and I may not always understand what You are asking me to do, but in faith I will continue to walk in submission and obedience to Your sovereign will.
You share things with me because of our intimate relationship we have with one another, making me clear-headed in the midst of all my trials and tribulations.
I will not always see the benefits from my prayers answered immediately, but supernaturally my faith and trust in You will see my prayers answered at Your appointed time.
Whatever You ask me to do, You will empower and enable me to do it, and the promise You have given to me gives me the confidence to believe it will go well with me and so I can go ahead and do it in obedience to Christ.
The things You require of me to do, You will not require others to do. To obey You, O God, is better than sacrifice. You are not trying to make my life hard; and I will not always immediately see the benefits and blessings You are setting me up for but I will accept whatever Your will is.

You have a unique plan for my life which only I can do. Your love for me is unconditional this helps me to abandon myself to You, O God. You have proved Your love and faithfulness to me time and time again this encourages me that in the end it will ‘go well’ with me in the precious and holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Coming Into the Good Land’

Deuteronomy 8:6-10 NIV Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in His ways and revering Him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land – a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey, a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks and iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
When you have eaten and satisfied, praise the Lord your God for good land He has given you.

Prayer

Lord God, I will observe Your commands, I will walk in all Your ways and I will always revere Your name. For You are the Lord my God and You are bringing me into a good land – a land flowing with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and I will lack nothing; a land where the rocks and iron I can dig copper out of the hills.
When I have eaten and am satisfied, I will praise the Lord my God for the good land He has given to me.
Never ever let me forget the amazing grace of God, which He has bestowed upon me. Never, ever let me forget God when He has met all my needs and wants, when He satisfies me. Let my table of prayers serve as a constant reminder of the Lord’s goodness to me and my duty for those who are less fortunate than I am.
Let my heart love Him more than any relationship, activity, achievement, or possession I have. I commit myself completely to Christ Jesus. I seek to know Him and His Word, so His principles and values are based on the way I think and what I do. I recognise my strengths and talents are given to me by God to be used for His rules and not mine.
All my resources ultimately come from God, and with the help of God I can manage them for I do not own them. I dedicated my life completely in the service of God and to man. The main purpose of my life is to work for the glory of God’s Kingdom and Name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘A Time to Stop Waiting’

Joshua 7:10 NCV The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! Why are you down on your face?”

Prayer

Lord, I want to please You, and from this day forward I shall walk in faith in Christ Jesus, and each step of faith I take I shall depend and rely upon the Holy Spirit of God, to prompt me to be in His will and purpose.
I will not worry anymore about the consequences of my decisions and actions, whatever I do; I do in believing faith and if I do get it wrong, then You will forgive me and steer me rightly. You have charted out the course of my life and I trust the plans You have made for me. My confidence, faith, trust and courage are fully cast upon the God who knows my future He has secured my relationship with Him.
I shall wait on God and never throw away my confident trust in Him no matter what. I shall remember the great reward it brings to me. I shall have patience and endurance then I will receive the promises God has promised me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Drive Out the Nations’

Deuteronomy 7:21-24 NLT “No, do not be afraid of those nations, for the Lord your God is among you, and He is a great and awesome God. The Lord your God will drive those nations out ahead of you little by little. You will not clear them away all at once, for if you did, the wild animals would multiply too quickly for you. But the Lord your God will hand them over to you. He will throw them into complete confusion until they are destroyed. He will put their kings in your power, and you will erase their names from the face of the earth. No one will be able to stand against you, and you will destroy them.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I will not be afraid of those nations, for You are with me and You are a great and awesome God. You will drive those nations out ahead of me little by little. You will not do it all at once for if You did, the wild animals would multiply too quickly for me. But You the Lord my God will clear them away as You did before and You will hand them over to me. You will throw them into complete confusion, until all mine enemies are destroyed. You will put all things in my power, and You will erase their names from the face of the earth. No one will be able to stand against me, and in the name of Christ Jesus, they will be destroyed.
Lord, now I intend to step out in faith as You command me too. Each faith step I take let it bring all honour and praise to You, do not let Your Word come back void, but bless Your Word to those hearts You use me in.
Now, to Him who by the power at work within me is able to accomplish far more than all I can ask or imagine to the honour, praise and glory of God.
Holy Spirit, water the Word of God within the hearts and souls of Your people, cause those Words to prosper in their hearts and also in my own heart for Your own namesake in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Old Habits’

Galatians 5:16 NLT So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I praise and thank You for living in me. I have been put to death on the cross with Christ, and I do not live anymore – it is Christ who lives in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself to save me (Galatians 2:20 NCV).  He has sanctified and purified me through the His Blood on the Cross and He has set me free.
Let the lifeless old leaves drop off from me in the name of Jesus Christ and may those great seeds of Christ’s come forth with the Holy Spirit of God watering those seeds to grow to the glory, praise and honour of our heavenly Father’s name.
Let the new buds of Christ’s life begin to appear within my life. Let all the old dead skeletons of my old life disappear, replacing and bringing forth the new nature of Jesus Christ within me. Holy Spirit, thank You for breaking all the old habits within me and breathing new life into me giving me a new beautiful season, and warm happy memories and joyful tomorrows shall come to me for the honour, praise and glory of God.
I can testify and witness God is the One who reigns and abides in me and I abide in Him. I willingly surrender, submit and relinquish my life to Him yielding my life to Him in obedience to Christ Jesus.
Jesus, thank You for enabling, and empowering me so I can keep saying, ‘Yes’ to Your gentle Spirit urging me to be kind, loving, compassionate, honest and faithful child of God in all that I do in Jesus peerless and precious name. Amen.
