New Blog Post: ‘Humble Yourselves Before God’

1 Peter 5:6 KJV ‘Humble yourselves that He may exalt you’.

Prayer

Father, do not let my ego get in the way of Your blessings towards me. Deal with my inferiority, for it stands in the way of my walk with God. I ask for the identical heart of Christ Jesus to be within my own heart. I ask Him to enable and empower me to be humble, meek and lowly just the way He is. I desire to follow His example and teachings which are written in the Word of God. I depend upon the Holy Spirit of God who is my ‘Helper and Comforter’ whom God sent as a seal of ownership that I belong to Him. I am His child and He will help me to keep my eyes, mind and heart focused upon Christ in all the things I do. He will guide and lead me with His counsel and teachings for He orders my steps as I follow Him.
I know You have a great plan and purpose for my life. Help me enable and empower me to be patient and endure until You are ready to birth the vision You have prepared for my life to the earth.
Let me wait upon God and do not let me force things to happen in my own will, strength and power. Let me always remember the result of what happens to me in my life is because of the Lord’s blessings He places upon me and they are not in my own doing.
I shall trust in God and He shall bless me according to His timetable and His abundance. When others ignore me, disrespect me, unfairly criticise or back stab me, I will not succumb to believe any of the lies that come from the enemy.
I am what I am in Christ Jesus, and He loves and accepts me just as I am. When the fiery darts of the enemy are aimed at me and they try to scorch my defences; my Heavenly Father, will protect me as I stay humble, meek and lowly before Him. He knows my God-given identity, I am a child of God, whom I exalt, adore and love His praises shall be upon my lips forever more in Christ Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Enjoy your Life’

Galatians 5:22 KJV ‘The fruit of the Spirit is joy’

Prayer

O my precious God, thank You for showing me in Your Word today that I have to admit to You, that I have been uptight because of the way I decided how my life should be. Please forgive me.
I also admit and confess before You, that my expectations have been in people this has caused me to be frustrated. I have been expecting them to do things in a certain way, the way I thought things ought to be done and this has upset me greatly; now I ask You to forgive me because I know I was totally wrong.
I have learnt my lesson and I will approach each day without expecting anything from them. My great expectations shall be in God alone. I will leave everything in His hands and will walk with Him in His grace and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God; He has become my Best Friend.
I shall stop fighting against life and I shall go against the flow with the help of the Holy Spirit of God, He will guide and lead me into His perfect will. I make the decision today to enjoy this life that God has given to me with the Spirit of God. I receive His love, joy, and peace deep within my heart and thank and praise my God for everything He has given to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Cleansed from Iniquities’

Ezekiel 36;33-38 ESV “Thus says the Lord God: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt. And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by. And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I am the Lord; I have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.
“Thus says the Lord God: This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: to increase their flock. Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have promised to cleanse us from all our sins. You will cleanse our house and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated and will lie desolate no more, in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.”
The nations around me that remain will know that You the Lord, have rebuilt what was destroyed and have planted what was desolate. You, the Lord have spoken and You will do it!
Once again You will yield to my pleas and do this for me: You will make our people as numerous as sheep, as numerous as the flocks for offerings during our appointed feasts. So,will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that You are the Sovereign Lord, the Lord of my life in everything. Thank You so much for rebuilding me and I shall no longer be desolate or forsaken in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘God Will Move the Mountain’

Joshua 23:3-6 NIV You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done to all these nations for your sake; it was the Lord your God who fought for you. Remember how I have allotted as an inheritance for your tribes all the land of the nations that remain – the nations I conquered – between the Jordan and the Great Sea in the west. The Lord Himself will drive them out of your way. He will push them out before you, and you will take possession of their land, as the Lord your God promised you. “Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, without turning aside to the right or to the left.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for Your encouragement towards me today. I have seen Your glory for myself and all that you have done to these nations for my sake. You, the Lord have fought for me and I am ever grateful to You for this. You will drive out all the remaining nations and will conquer them for me. You will tear down all the mountains that stand in the way of my family and friends lives. You will flatten them them and cause us to rejoice in the glory of Your name. You have knocked down all the bricks that stand in the way of Your will being done in my life and in the lives of my loved ones.
You will open the door and my family will come back to You. You, Yourself, will drive out their enemies out of their way. You will push them out before us, and we will take possession of our land, as You the Lord my God promised me.
I will be very courageous and strong; I will be careful to obey all that is written in the Word of God, without turning aside to the right or to the left but will keep my eyes at all times focused upon You, O God.
I know with all my heart and soul, that not one of all the good promises that the Lord my God has given to me has failed. Everyone of Your promises will be fulfilled and You are the One who will destroy the evil in this place for the glory, honour, and praise of Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

New Blog Post: 'Surviving in the Tough Times’

2 Corinthians 4:17 NCV We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I will keep Your commandments, and I will abide in Your love. Help me to show more of Your love to others for this is Your clear commandment to me. Let me lay down my life for my family and friends.
Let Your light shine out of me, out of my heart; out of darkness to give to me the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
I have this treasure In jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power that is given to me is from God and not from me.
I am hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
In my body I will always carry around the death of the Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in my body.
Therefore I do not lose heart. Though outwardly I am wasting away, yet inwardly I am being renewed day by day. For the light affliction which is but a moment, is working for me more exceedingly and eternal weight of glory. This is why I fix my eyes on what is unseen. The peace I have comes from knowing God is in control, the joy that flows from loving Him, and the strength that springs from His presence sustains me in all my troubles.
Jesus Christ is with me. He will never leave me or forsake me. I lean upon the Holy Spirit of God, depending upon Him for all of my needs now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Chosen By God’

John 15:16 NIV ‘You did not choose Me, but I chose you.’

Prayer

Father, I did not choose You, but You chose me, and appointed me to go and bear fruit- fruit that will last. With full knowledge of my past failings and present defects of my character You chose me anyway. This is mind-blowing of amazing grace towards me.
I am seen to be unique in Your eyes. In Your eyes I am somebody, there are no misfits where You are concerned. You know what you want me to contribute to others, and I will not do anything in my own strength;, but I will depend upon the empowering wisdom and strength of God and I ask Him to fill me with His ‘Divine Presence’, in my mind also.
Let me always see myself in the way God sees me, and let His opinions be revealed to me through the supernatural power of Your Word. I commit and commend my life to You, O God, in the almighty name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: Give Your Best To God’

Acts26:19 ESV “I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.”

Prayer

Father God, You have given me Your vision for my life and I am responsible for it – not God. I will apply Your vision in my everyday life, to the best of my knowledge and ability, I am trying to walk in obedience to God, depending upon the Holy Spirit of God, to lead me into God’s plan for my life in Christ.
It is essential that I live my life and walk in the light of God’s vision for me. I will allow God to send me out through His storm. I will wait for Him to go before me to prepare the way, His Word will be a lamp for my feet and a light for my path for me to follow Him. I will not not go until He tells me to go and I will allow God to plant me when He decides to plant me then I will bear much fruit for Him in obedience to His will and His glory will be seen through me.
I will not be disobedient to the heavenly vision, though it tarried, I shall wait for it. I will live under its inspiration until it fulfils itself, waiting for the vision is the true test of my faith in God. He is the only One who can fulfil His plans, dreams, and purposes for my life. I continue to trust in Him for the honour, praise, and glory of Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘God’s Kingdom’

Matthew 6:33-34 NIV But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I first seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and then all these things will be given to me as well. Therefore, I will not worry about tomorrow for You have already taken care of me today, and so You will take care of the all the tomorrows in my life. You want me to be led by Your, Holy Spirit, not driven; nor do You want me to strive. You have a purpose for my life, so I can have that perfect peace from God, which surpasses all understanding.
My happiness is in God and no-one else. I shall enjoy the blessing God wants to give to me daily. I shall always try to put my God first. He will prioritise my time and I will accomplish everything He wants me to do, because my time is in His hands.
Let me always remember to ask and to acknowledge the Holy Spirit of God in everything and each circumstance I face on the earth. I ask Him to fill me with His Wisdom, Discernment, Knowledge, Understanding, Insight and Foresight in the Revelation of His Word.
Let my life be a holy example of the reality of the message I bring. My heart has been broken by conviction of my sin, and I have been baptised by the Holy Spirit of God, and crushed into submission to God’s purposes; to make me live a life of holy example of God’s message in the flesh.
I shall witness and testify for Him for His glory. You have called me to speak Your Word through my witness and testimony to the heart of Your people and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Lord, set the Word of God on fire within my heart once again. May Your Word penetrate the truth to the lives of Your people. Enable and empower me to do this so I can glorify, magnify and exalt the name of Jesus forever and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘You Make Me Secure’

Deuteronomy 33:27-29 NIV The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, ‘Destroy him!’ So Israel will live in safety alone; Jacob’s spring is secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew. Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like You, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You so much for Your encouraging words for me today. You are my eternal God, You are my refuge, and underneath are Your everlasting arms. You will drive out mine enemy before me, saying, ‘Destroy him!’ You will bring me security into a secure land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.
Blessed are You, O God. Who is like You? I am saved by the Lord. You are my shield and helper and my glorious sword.
My enemies will cower before me, and I will trample down the high places. I have been set apart by You through sanctification, my spiritual life is disciplined by You and I am in this intimate oneness with Christ God. You have given me a clear determination of Your will, and I do not need to strive in any particular method it is completely unnecessary. All that is required from me is to be living a natural life of absolute dependence on Jesus Christ, walking in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, and never let me live any other way than in Christ’s ways, in my devotion to Him. There is no need for uncertainties that lie ahead for me; my secret is to walk with Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: 'We Shall Overcome'

Deuteronomy 31:3-8 THB But the Lord Himself will lead you and will destroy the nations living there and you shall overcome them. Joshua is your new commander, as the Lord has instructed. The Lord will destroy the nations living in the land, just as He destroyed Sihon and Og, the king of the Amorites. The Lord will deliver over to you the people living there, and you shall destroy them as I have commanded you. Be strong! Be courageous! Do not be afraid of them! For the Lord your God will be with you.. He will neither fail you nor forsake you.
Then Moses called for Joshua and said to him, as all Israel watched."Be strong! Be courageous! For you shall lead these people into the land promised by the Lord to their ancestors; see to it that they conquer it. Don't be afraid, for the Lord will go before you and will be with you; He will not fail nor forsake you."

                                                                             Prayer

You, the Lord my God, will cross over ahead of me. You will destroy the nations before me, and I will take possession of their land. And the Lord will do to them what He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, when He destroyed along with their land. You, Lord, will deliver them to me, and I must do to them all that You have commanded me.
I will be strong and courageous in Christ. I will depend upon the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, and He will be my strength. I will not be afraid or be terrified because of them, for the Lord my God goes with me; He will never leave me nor will He forsake me. I will be strong and very courageous for I must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore and promised on oath to give to my forefathers and divide it among us as our inheritance.
The Lord, Himself goes before me and will be with me; He will never leave me nor forsake me. I will not be afraid; nor will I be discouraged. So, I will not throw away my confidence ; it will be richly rewarded. I will persevere so that when I have done the will of God, I will receive all that He has promised. Blessed be (God), who according to His abundant mercy has begotten me again to a living hope.
I will live today with the courage God has given to me. My living hope is in Christ Jesus, and He has dealt with my past because of my future. His best for me lies ahead.
Lord, give me the grace to trust You when life's burdens seem too much to bear. Dispel the darkness with new hope and help me to rise above despair for the namesake of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Follow God’s Laws and Decrees’

Deuteronomy 26:16-19 TLB "You must wholeheartedly obey all of these commandments and ordinances that the Lord Your God is giving you today. You have declared today that He is your God, and you have promised to obey and keep His laws and ordinances, and to heed all He tells you to do. And the Lord has declared today that you are His very own people, just as He promised, and that you must obey all of His laws. If you do, He will make you greater than any other nation, allowing you to receive praise, honour, and renown; but attain this honour and renown you must be holy people to the Lord your God, as He requires." You have declared this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in His ways, that you will keep His decrees, commands and laws, that you will obey Him. And the Lord has declared this day that you are His people, His treasured possession as He promised, and that You are to keep all His commands He has declared that He will set you in praise, fame and honour high above all the nations He has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as He promised.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I will obey all of Your commandments and follow Your laws and decrees. I will carefully observe them with all of my heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit.
I declare this day to the nations of Your people that You are my God and I will walk in Your ways, and will keep Your decrees, commands and laws. And You, Lord, have declared this day that I belong to You, and I am Your treasured possession. You have set me in praise, fame, and honour high above all the nations You have made. You have made me holy, to the Lord, as You promised me.
Father, fill me with Your grace, mercy, granting me Your divine favour for it is all-sufficient for my needs. My treasure is in You that the Excellency of the power of God maybe of God, and not me.
These things You have spoken to me, that I may have peace. I depend upon God through His, Holy Spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I focus completely upon Him. He is holding me in His hands and I am hanging upon His care. I trust in Him alone and stand in faith in Him forever and always in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God.

I commit this prayer into His hands now and always in the precious name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘God’s Commandments’

Leviticus 22:31-33 NIV Keep My commands and follow them I am the Lord. Do not profane My holy name. I must be acknowledged as holy by the Israelites. I am the Lord, who makes you holy and who brought you out of Egypt to be your God I am the Lord.’

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I will faithfully obey Your commandments and follow them. You are the Lord, and I will not profane Your name. I acknowledge You as Holy, the Lord, who has made me holy, who brought me out of Egypt, You are my God.
I will follow Your desires and will be careful to obey them. You will send me rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. My threshing will continue until the grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and I will eat all the food and live in safety in the land God has given to me. You will grant me peace in the land, and I will lie down and not be afraid. I will find Your favour and You will make me increase in my numbers keeping Your covenant with me.
You have put Your dwelling place in me, and You will not abhor me. You will walk with me and be my God, and I will be Your child. You have broken the yoke of my slavery and now I am yoked to You. You have enabled me to walk with my head held high. Praise and thank You Jesus for the comfort Your Word brings to my heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Genuine Love’

Romans 12:10 TLB Love each other with brotherly affection and take delight in honouring each other.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, pour out loving heart and love into me, so I can truly love Your people by Your grace and mercy. Do not let me pretend to love others, but let me really love them in You. I hate what is wrong. Let me stand on the side that is good. Let me love with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring one another in the praise and glory of Christ, as You have taught me.
Never, let me be lazy in my works, but let me always serve the Lord enthusiastically. I am glad for everything God is planning for me.
I will be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful. When God’s children are in need, let me be the one to help them out. Let me learn to lean on others yet know how to lend them my support, let me be honest enough to confess my faults, yet always be willing to forgive others, as You have shown me.
You have said, ‘Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.’ I continue to wait patiently wait for You, Lord, I anticipate the future with confident hope.
I can walk in the path of obedience and not get tired. I can move through routine days and not grow weary. I can be steadfast, patient, and joyful in spite of deep weariness, kind and calm less focused on my frailty and fatigue, more concerned about others than I am about myself; always ready to speak a loving word to those who are struggling. I always want to be able to help others as Christ God, helped me.
Holy Spirit, grant me Your good fruits, empowering me to use those good gifts, to glorify, magnify with praise and honour of God’s kingdom and name. Amen.
