New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Being An Example’

Be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life. (1 Timothy 4: 12 NCV)
And here you yourself must be an example to them of good deeds of every kind. Let everything you do reflect your love of the truth and the fact that you are in dead earnest about it. (Titus 2:7 TLB)
.
                                                               Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me to be a good example to the believers with my words, my actions, my love, my faith, and my pure life. I know I must be an example to them of good deeds of every kind. Let everything I do reflect my love of the truth and the fact that I am in dead earnest about Jesus Christ.
Help me in my formative years, be the woman I choose to be as a role model that influences myself and the goals I set for myself. Now, as a adult, I am the one who the younger women watch.
Daily, You remind me that my appearance and behaviour matter, because You understand how influential I am around those who are around me, especially young women who are still discovering their own personalities and priorities. As a role model, the way I carry myself reflects my values, and the words I use in everyday conversation declare my attitude toward God and other people. I was created not only to please God but also to reflect His virtue and to demonstrate His goodness and purity to others. In all things let me show them how to live by the way my life is lived in Christ. I commit this prayer into Your hands in the name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Wisdom Is Mighty’

A wise man is mightier than a strong man. Wisdom is mightier than strength.
(Proverbs 24:5 TLB)
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. (Hebrews 11:1 TLB)

                                                                 Prayer

Father, help me to be wise and strong today. Grant to me Wisdom for it is mightier than strength. Deepen my faith. The gift of faith You have given to me is the confident assurance that something I desire is going to happen to me in Jesus Christ. It is the certainty that whatever I hope for is waiting for me, even though I cannot see it up ahead. It is trusting in God in faith through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, He knows what is best for me and He knows what is going to happen to me. Then it’s up to me to wait upon Him in faith, to do whatever He needs to do to make His plans come forth for my life in accordance to His will.
Whenever things seem to become dreary and without hope, let me grab hold of the strength that You have poured out into me. The notion of hopelessness doesn't exist in Your Kingdom, and You have given me the spiritual strength to combat every wily scheme aimed at me to discourage and tear down by my faith in Jesus Christ. The substance of everything I hope for is positioned in my faith. I shall be strong, bold and courageous for Your power has been proven to me by Your Holy Spirit, and His mighty power is with me today and every day of my life forever and always in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘The Past Offers Me Nothing’

For the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. (Songs of Soloman 2:11 TLB)

Follow the steps of the godly instead, and stay on the right path, for only good men enjoy life to the full; [*]  evil men lose the good things they might have had, [*] and they themselves shall be destroyed. (Proverbs 2:20-21 TLB)

.                                                                      Prayer

Father God, I am giving far too much time to the past, to what is over and now gone. The past offers me nothing but more of itself. I shall not be obsessed about the past any longer, but give all of its power it's had over me to You; and ask You to give me the power to overcome my past so it shall not rule in my present any longer;  for I do not want to miss the glory of this moment. It's not good for me to pine for yesterday’s riches. It is destructive to my soul as resentment for what's been robbed from me. Today, I choose to appreciate and open up my eyes to the goodness in my life as it is right now.
You have used my past, both good and bad, as an instrument to create a greater future for me. You see my past as not only healed and delivered from the gnawing teeth of the devil, but as a scrapbook of success to add new pages to. I am a living wonder today. I have a new mind-set in Christ, and I think of terms of today, the way Jesus Christ does, I have given my past in its many dimensions to You, knowing now that all things will work together for my good in according to the promises You have made with me in Christ Jesus. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God Has Implanted His Gifts’

And those who are wise—the people of God—shall shine as brightly as the sun’s brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever. (Daniel 12:3 TLB)
In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you. Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it!
(John 14:12-14 TLB)

.                                                                    Prayer

O my precious God, I praise and thank You for the gifts You have implanted in me. I thank You for Your wisdom which is making me wise to the decisions I make. I shall shine as brightly as the sun’s brilliance, turning  many of Your people to righteousness through Jesus Christ, and they will glitter like stars forever in Your name.
In solemn truth I tell You, anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, shall do the same miracles He has done, and even greater ones, because He has gone to be with the Father. I can ask Him for anything, using His name, and He has promised to do it, this will bring praise to the Father because what He, the Son, will do for me. Yes, I shall ask anything, using His name, and He will do it!
I shall move forward in the dream He has placed within my heart. He is the One who has created me with confidence and enthusiasm, and I shall not hold back.He is with me and will bring to pass the results of what He has birthed in me. I shall execute my plans with the skill He has gifted me with through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, and I will receive approval and favour and as God has said, “Many lives will be saved, enriched, and prepared for the days to come.” I continue to trust in God for all things for the praise and honour of Jesus Christ’s precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Beauty For Ashes’

To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.
(Isaiah 61:3 TLB)

                                                                 Prayer

O my precious God, I thank You that You will give me: beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted me strong and as graceful as an oak for His own glory.
It was Him who saved me and chose me for His holy work not because I deserved it but because that was His plan long before the world began – to show His love and kindness to me through Jesus Christ.
Today, I think of myself as a sculptor facing a block of stone and all ready for God to chisel out the beauty of Christ locked inside of me. I ask Him to  knit and shape me and form me into His desired will. I have been waiting a long time for my Father to set me loose and set me free for centuries, through Jesus Christ my precious Lord,
God, You have blessed me with the consecrated skill required to create the beauty from ashes. I trust the gifts You have given me today. I trust the person of the Holy Spirit, who made me who I am today. I dare to chisel away at my divine appointed task with dignity and holy pride for the namesake and glory of God my Father, His Son Jesus Christ; and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I give all the honour and praise for the Trinity and the Godhead, forever and always in the precious name of Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God Is My Hope‘

O Lord, you alone are my hope; I’ve trusted you from childhood. Yes, you have been with me from birth and have helped me constantly—no wonder I am always praising you!
(Psalm 71:5-6 TLB)

.                                                                Prayer

Father God, You alone are my hope; I've trusted You from childhood. Yes, You have been with me from birth and have helped me constantly – no wonder I am always praising You!
You have been talking to me since before I was born. You were the first one who welcomed me into the world when my mother gave birth to me. You've loved and cherished me forever, and yet I haven't always been aware of Your presence. It took me forty years before I was aware of Your existence, before I heard You calling me by my name.
Your presence was subtle, unpredictable, and supernatural. You revealed Yourself to me in the sacred halls of my heart – in the early hours of the morning; I heard You calling my name. I recognised Your still small voice and acknowledge You as my Saviour and Lord, who told me everything that had been wrong in my life, You the Lord my God would put all things right.
Jesus, You never cease to amaze me. You are constantly changing me and rearranging me knitting and shaping me into Your desired will. I willingly want to do things in Your will and ways in submission and obedience to Christ. No more do I want to walk a disobedient life of sin, but I want to live a life of righteousness, holiness, and godliness and through the help of God’s Holy Spirit, He will enable and empower me to do this for I ask Him in His  name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Patience Requires Courage ‘

In that day the people will proclaim, “This is our God in whom we trust, for whom we waited. Now at last he is here.” What a day of rejoicing! (Isaiah 25:9 TLB)
I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! (Isaiah 65:24 TLB)

                                                                       Prayer

O my precious God, I will proclaim today, “You are my God in whom I trust, whom I wait upon in Christ. Now at last You are here.” I shall rejoice always in the Lord, for all of His love and faithfulness He has shown towards me.
I know He will answer me even before I call out to His name. Even when I'm talking to Him about my needs, I know He has gone ahead of me and answered my prayers.
When I begin to become anxious, He see me waiting in patient expectancy wondering when He is going to act? This is when I call out to Him in prayer asking Him when?
You have shown me when I am in the valley of patience, it requires courage from me. You give me courage and strength to wait upon You in faith through the Holy Spirit of God. I have a personal relationship with Christ, and I know in my heart what You are doing for me will be Your very best.
You will never go back on the promises You have made with me, and You will surely answer me at Your appointed time.
How gracious and thankful I am to You, O God; for all the patience You have shown towards me, even when I get things wrong, this has made no difference to You.
I am grateful that You are my God, and You are in the business of putting all things right, for me and for all of Your children; who have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You will always do what is right and best for us all in Your precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God Answers Prayer‘

And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us. (1 John 5:14-15 TLB)

                                                                         Prayer

Gracious God, I can be sure wherever I go, You will go with me. Whatever I need, You’ll provide for me. When I step out and declare You name, You will favour my cause. You care about what concerns me. The tribulation in the world shall not alarm me, instead it will bring me to my place of prayer to find You.
I can break down all strongholds and declare Your Word into each one of my situations. I will pray with supernatural power and authority through the Holy Spirit of God, with confident assurance, with faith in the precious name of Jesus.
I shall never forget You are in control and are over all principalities, powers, and dominions, having this great knowledge helps my faith grow.
And I am sure of this You will listen to me whenever I ask You for anything in line with Your will. And if I really know You are  listening to me when I talk to You, and make my requests known to You before the eternal throne, then I can be assured that You will answer me.
Father, how grateful I am that You listen to each one of my prayers. I pray through the name of Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, through faith and trust in Jesus Christ, that the outcome and answers to those prayers will come at Your appointed time. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – 'I Need Wisdom And Knowledge In God’

For the reverence and fear of God are basic to all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding. 11 “I, Wisdom, will make the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful.” 12 Wisdom is its own reward, and if you scorn her, you hurt only yourself.
(Proverbs 9:10-12 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

Heavenly Father, it is good for me to have reverence and fear of God this is the basic of all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding. Wisdom, will make the hours of my day more profitable and the years of my life more fruitful.  Wisdom is its own reward, and if I scorn her, I will only hurt myself.
I need both knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is found in text books. Wisdom, on the other hand, is obtained through my experiences, years of trials and error, and paying careful attention to God’s Word. Knowledge is an important building block in a well-lived life, and it pays rich dividends both personally and professionally. Wisdom is even more important because it refashions not only my mind but also my heart.
Having faith, God doesn't intend for me to stand still. He wants me to keep growing deeper as a woman and as a spiritual being. No matter how grown-up I may be, I still have a lot more growing up to do. The more I grow into Christ Jesus, the more beautiful I become, inside and out.
Let me remember that the longer I live, the more I shall know, and the more I shall know, the more beautiful I become. I desire to pass on these traits to others so they too can have a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Walking Humbly‘

No, he has told you what he wants, and this is all it is: to be fair, just, merciful, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8 TLB)

.                                                                   Prayer

Father, You have told me what You want, and this is all it is: to be fair, just, merciful, and to walk humbly before God.
I shall take You with me wherever I go. You will calm me from fluctuating nerves; You will guide me and remind me always to walk humbly before You. You will give me a loving nudge if I act self-righteously, or insist on having my own way. You will gently nudge me if I boast or behave with self-importance. You will lift me up so I can see the path of true fulfilment and recognise the small size life when it's dominated with pride. I shall not acknowledge any pride and drop it completely, You have given me wonderful golden years and I shall lack nothing or want for anything as I follow my precious Lord Jesus Christ, now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God’s Blessings‘

How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every blessing in heaven because we belong to Christ. (Ephesians 1:3 NLT)

.                                                                Prayer

Heavenly Father, how I praise God, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me with every blessing in heaven because I belong to Christ. Nothing can take away the sweet blessings that are mine alone. I consider myself free from everything that has tried to hold me down or hurt my feelings. The hurts of the past can't control me today. I consider myself a new person inside and out. I have a new life now, and a new heart that I fill with happiness and fresh wonder and excitement, the excitement of Christ. I am a new creation, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that I should walk in Him. I wait for God’s delightful surprises, and I know that I am more blessed that I could ever have imagined. Thank you Jesus, for everything You have done for me in rescuing me from the darkness of this world. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God’s Truth’

Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you.
(PSALM 25:5 NIV)

                                                               Prayer

Heavenly Father, please guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are my God and Saviour, my hope is in You.
Help me Father, to choose the safe options that will honour You. Don't allow others to divert me from the plans You have predestined for my life. I invite You, the Almighty God, to guide me – trusting that everything You allow within my life is for the purpose of building my character and bringing me into Your freedom. I know that God’s plans for my life are unquestionably the best.
Lord, change me, and work through me in anyway You please. I believe You will knit and shape and form me into Your perfect will. You, will shape and form me into the likeness of Christ through my circumstances, and lead me through the Holy Spirit of God to life at it’s best.
Lord, thank You for replacing my misery with Your joy, my fears with faith, my weaknesses with Your strength, and my selfish ways with grateful devotion to You.
Thank You, dear Jesus, for never letting me down and never forsaking me no matter what I have done within me life, Your love for me has never failed me yet. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘In The Desert'

The LORD went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and he provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night. And the LORD did not remove the pillar of cloud or pillar of fire from its place in front of the people. (Exodus 13:21-22 NLT)

                                                                   Prayer

Father God, I have been in the desert with You for a while now. You have gone ahead of me and used this time in the desert to teach me, mature me; to guide me and lead me into the ways of God.
You called me to follow You, not giving me an easy road in which to follow; for this would have led me to disaster. The long road has given me time; preparing me in knowledge, discernment, insight and revelation in the understanding of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord. He has helped me to grow by inspiring me through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God.
My God is a faithful God. I can trust Him to lead me and to care for me whatever I face. Sometimes, I may not understand the reason for the path that I am on, but having a relationship with God, helps me to trust God to grow my faith and maturity along the way. He encourages and enlightens me when I cannot see the path I'm walking on. Trusting Him is what He expects me to do. God’s timing is always right—I wait patiently for Him. Amen.
