New Blog Post: “Dead – end Situations”

2 Corinthians 1:9 KJV ‘That we should not trust in ourselves, But in God’

Prayer

Heavenly Father, what seemed to be the end of the road for me, is in reality the beginning of a fresh supernatural flow of divine power to enable and empower me to do Your will. I thank You for Your divine favour. I am learning more and more, not to trust in myself, but in God Who ‘raised the dead.’
I thank You that I can call upon the Word of the Lord and stand upon it in faith which activates, Your promises You have made with me. I can rejoice and be glad. I have a future in You! I will not doubt, this does not fit who I am anymore, but I will stand in faith in Jesus Christ and trust Him to turn my dead-end situation around. Why? Because I trust in the One Who really can do something about it. I have confident trust in the power of God, through the supernatural power of His Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lessons to be Learnt

When we come to dead-end situations which seem to be the end of the road for us, this is in reality the beginning of a fresh supernatural flow of divine power to enable and empower us to do God’s will. On no uncertain terms should we ever give up on anything we feel God has ordained for us to do. It does not matter what our circumstances or situations maybe. God has a plan and He will work out His plan as we live in the power of Him. We must learn to trust in ‘God Who’ raised the dead and not trust in ourselves. Think: when your hope seems buried and you have nowhere to turn, isn’t that the time when God’s power begins to operate in your life to the greatest measure?
We can call upon our loving Heavenly Father at any hour, minute and second of any new day. We can ask Him to give us a Word to stand on, and our faith is then activated by His promises, we each have a reason to rejoice and give thanks for the future of God’s plans. We must expect Him to do what the Bible says and release His power on our behalf, and then watch Him begin to turn our dead-end situation around. Why? Because you are beginning to trust in the One Who can really do something about our lives.

New Blog Post: On Holy Ground – Daily Devotional – Charles F Stanley

Scripture Reading: John 15:9-17      Key Verse: John 15:17

‘These things I command you, that you love one another.’

“Abiding in Christ”

In John 15, Jesus instructed us to abide in Him. The visual picture is one of a branch abiding in a vine. Christ taught that God is the Vinedresser, pruning and shaping the branches so that they will bear much fruit. Abiding means “remaining and continuing.” It is an active word, even though from a worldly perspective we often view it as a word of passivity. However, nothing is farther from the truth. When we abide in Christ, we are in process of growth unlike anything we have known before.
Notice how the young tender shoots of the grapevine appear in the spring and begin running along the arbor. God tenderly watches over His branches and with the greatest of care and skill cultivates the vine so that is produces a maximum harvest.
The sole purpose of the branches is to bear fruit. They are not destined to live on their own apart from the vine, nor are they allowed to grow wild. They maintain, they continue, and they rest in the vine.
We live under the grace of God and are given full access to His infinite peace as we abide in Him. When turmoil comes, we can go to a place of refuge. It is a place of abiding contentment in the inner chamber of our hearts. You need never fear when you are abiding in Christ. His peace and rest are yours.

Precious heavenly Father, thank You that I have a place of refuge in times of turmoil. Peace and rest are mine when I abide in You.

New Blog Post: “Cleansing”

Isaiah 6:1 NIV “I saw the Lord.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are the key to my level of contentment, my self-sufficiency, lies in the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. You meet my every need and so I can endure whatever I have to endure, because through You I am equipped and sustained in the cleansing of Your Blood and precious name.
Despite my circumstances, I can enjoy true contentment because I accept the truth that Jesus Christ is adequate for my every need – in – good times and bad.
I shall follow Him. He has given me the Life of Power to follow Him without hesitation. Jesus You are upon me and I have come to the end of my self-sufficiency. There is no part of myself I will ever rely upon again. I am ready to receive all that the risen Lord has for me. You have breathed on me and I have received the Holy Spirit of God and I depend upon Him. No matter what the changes Almighty God has performed within me, I will never rely upon myself again. I will build my life upon the person of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of the living God which He has given to me.
There is only One person who can direct the course of my life, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has sent the seraphs with the live coals from His alter and He has touched my mouth and said, “See this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard Your voice Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?” And who will go for Us? And I said, “Here I am Lord send me!” He said to me, “Go and tell the people so I shall go in faith in Jesus Christ forever and always and tell the people what He tells me to say for His honour and glory. Amen.

Lessons to be Learnt

Jesus has shown me the only time I can be truly contented is when I am totally reliant upon Him. He is my self-sufficiency and He meets each need I have regardless of what my circumstances maybe. He sustains me in the cleansing of His blood and precious name. He has equipped and empowered me to endure, despite the situations and the circumstances I maybe in. I can enjoy being contented because I have accepted the truth that Jesus Christ is adequate for my every need – in- good times and bad.
I shall follow Him. He has given me the Life of Power to follow Him without hesitation as I come to the end of my own self-sufficiency. There is no part of myself I desire to rely upon again. I am ready to receive all that the risen Lord has given to me when He breathed life into me through the Holy Spirit of God. No matter what the changes Almighty God may want to perform within me, I shall not deter Him nor will I be an obstacle which stands in His way doing what He wants to do in me and for me. I want what He wants. My desire is for Him to draw me deeper and closer to Him. I have no right to tell God what He can or cannot do within my life. He has access to all areas of my life because I have completely surrendered my life to Him in submission and obedience.
He has touched my lips with the seraphs and live coals from His alter and He has touched my mouth and said, “See this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” This is all I need to see it is finished God has taken care of all my sin on the Cross at Calvary through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.

New Blog Post: “Procrastination”

Proverbs 12:24NCV Hard workers will become leaders, but those who are lazy will be slaves.
Prayer

Father, let me be prompted always to be obedient to You for this will bring eventual blessing to me. Do not let me procrastinate (be put off) by something You want me to do. I never want to walk in disobedience to You but work hard to fulfil Your purpose for me. I will face and deal with undesirable circumstances, depending always on You, Almighty God. I trust in You to supply what I need when I need it and You will provide what is lacking within me. You will give me the courage, wisdom, grace, mercy, power – whatever the need You will fulfil that need within me through Jesus Christ.
I will confront the problems with Jesus Christ. I will not avoid the problems but will allow Jesus to stretch and nurture my faith in Him. My confidence will grow bit by bit, and all of my fears will subside. I will do it now as the Lord directs and enables me. I praise, adore, and love Jesus, because I know His presence is with me wherever I go, and whatever I do, I trust in God alone as the Spirit of God walks with me day by day. Amen.

Lessons to be Learnt

You can learn to face any circumstances that are undesirable in life by putting your love and faith in God. Anything you lack do not delay and ask God to give you the wisdom, courage, grace, mercy, and power – whatever your need He is always willing to meet those needs you have through Jesus Christ. It is never a good idea to avoid or evade the problems you may have to face but you can deal with the problems through faith in Jesus. Little by little praying to God acknowledging Him in your situation and circumstances you begin to see the burdens become lighter and your fears begin to subside. God is in the process of strengthening our faith using circumstances to stretch and nurture our faith to grow us up in Him.  Our motto should be: ‘Do it now as the Lord directs and enables me.’ This will save a lot of heartache later on.
