‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – God’s Great Riches

Romans 11:33-36 NLT  Oh how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways!
For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give Him advice? And who has given Him so much that He needs to pay it back?
For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen

The implications of these questions is that no one has fully understood the mind of the Lord. No one has been His counsellor. And God owes nothing to any one of us.
God alone is the possessor of absolute power and absolute wisdom. In the final analysis all of us should be absolutely dependant on God. He is the Source of all things, including ourselves. He is the power that sustains and rules the world that we live in. And God works out all things to bring glory to Himself. The all-powerful God deserves our praise.

Prayer

Almighty God, only You are worthy to be praised, adored, and loved. Oh how great are Your riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible for us to understand Your decisions and Your ways! For who can know the the thoughts of the Lord? Who knows enough to give You advice? And who has given You so much that You need to pay it back? For everything we have comes for You, Lord. For everything exists by Your power and is intended for Your glory. We praise and bless Your precious Son Jesus Christ, for rescuing and saving us by His divine love, grace, mercy, and faithfulness. We thank You for the supernatural power of Your Holy Spirit, who You sent to dwell and live in us when we accepted Jesus as our personal Saviour and Lord. The Holy Spirit, our Helper and Comforter has brought the truth deep into our hearts, minds, spirits, and souls and we cannot thank Him enough for everything He has taught us. We commit and commend this prayer to You, O God, for the glory, honour of Your name now and forevermore. Amen
