New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Made Right with God’

So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in His promises, we can have a real peace with Him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
(Romans 5:1 TLB)

Prayer

Father, we thank You that we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in His promises, we can have a real peace with You because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us on the Cross of Calvary. We have acknowledged our sins before Him and the atonement of Christ is the sacrificial work of Jesus for sinners. In His death on the cross, Christ atonement for the sins of humanity such that God is satisfied and reconciliation is accomplished for all who will be redeemed. The obedience and death of Christ on behalf of sinners is the ground of redemption.
He has cleansed and purified us through Christ’s Shed Blood, and as individuals we should be ever grateful to Him for all He has done for us.
Because of our faith He has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to actually becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us – they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us to trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith become strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit of God to fill our hearts, spirits, souls and minds with His love, grace, mercy, and peace forever and always in Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God’s Goodness’

Oh, how great is Your goodness to those who publicly declare that You will rescue them. For You have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence You.
(Psalm 31:19TLB)

Prayer

O my precious God, how great is Your goodness to those who publicly declare that You will rescue them. For You have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence Your holy name.
Hide Your loved ones in the shelter of Your presence, safe beneath Your hand, safe from all conspiring men.
Blessed is the Lord, for He has shown me that His never-failing love protects me like the walls of a fort. I spoke at times too hastily when I said, “The Lord has deserted me,” for You listened to my plea and You answered me at Your appointed time.
Oh! I shall love the Lord my God, with all my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit; I shall praise His precious and holy name with all of the people; who love His name. He protects those who are loyal to Him, but He will harshly punish all who haughtily reject Him.

So, cheer up! Take courage if You are depending on the Lord, He will never ever let you down, for He is faithful to His Word and to His people who worship Him in truth and in Spirit through the Holy Spirit of God now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer- Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Wear the Robe of Christ

Reading: Genesis 37:3

“Wear the garments of Christ.”

Prayer

Father, You remind me to wear the robe of Christ. You show me by wearing Your robe that there is danger associated with it. The special favour You give me can make me become insecure and critical. I want to be the one wearing the garments of Christ. Do not allow me to become insensitive to the way Your power and status affect others. I realize now I have not always understood the struggles and frustrations of my brothers/sisters who work just as hard as I do. I know now why I have had to spend my years as a slave and prisoner. It is in prison, which is not a palace, that I come to realize I was not the only one for whom life had not turned out according to Your plan (before I can lead people, I first have to understand them). Let me be careful! I am between robes today, but I can rejoice. I am in a learning period, and like Joseph, I know You are with me. When I come through this I will be equipped for the job You call me to do! May the honour and praise be His alone. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The moment we meet with Jesus Christ we are to put on His garments, so we may become righteous, holy, and godly. Through prayer daily, we must ask God to dress us in the Robe of Christ. The robe is a symbol of God’s favouritism toward us; we must not aggravate the already strained relations we may have between our brothers/sisters. We need to wear His cloak, mantle, characteristics, and very nature and become more like Him. We do not want to become insecure or critical of others. We need His power and status to affect others around us. Some of us are in a learning period, and like Joseph we know God is with us. When we come through learning and understanding people, we will be equipped for the job God is calling us to do.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Connected Together in Christ’

How natural it is that I should feel as I do about you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others about Christ. (Philippians 1:7 TLB)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You have connected me to be with certain people which are right for me. Help me to discern who those people are. Without them my destiny would not be complete. I am humble enough to accept that my possibilities are unlimited. How natural it is that I should feel as I do about them, for they have a very special place in my heart in the heart of Jesus Christ. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I came out of prison, defending the truth and telling others about Christ.
I desire always to abide in the Vine of God, a branch abiding in Him without Him I can do nothing, but in Him I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.
I shall build my thinking upon Christ Jesus and be in harmony with Him through the Holy Spirit of God. I bring every thought, word, and deed, captive in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You for praying for me Jesus, that my faith will not fail but my faith would be made strong and very courageous in You.

Therefore, I can always be of good courage, and knowing that while I am at home in the body I am absent from the Lord – I am of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord Jesus Christ now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘One with Christ’

You must love Him with all your heart, soul, and might. (Deuteronomy 6:5 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You see me as a whole person. You ask me to be full of integrity (to be whole) in my life, because it won’t work any other way. You made me with one will one heart with one spirit, and with one soul to be one with You.
I love You, the Lord my God, with all my heart, mind, body spirit, soul, and strength. I want to be one with Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit of God; guiding and leading me with His supernatural power into God’s perfect will.
I refuse to live my life compartmentalised as an arrow of compartments or a collection of separate performances. Jesus Christ has made me a whole person and I shall not fear or be afraid or dismayed any longer. For He is with me and He is my God  He will strengthen me, yes, He will help me and He will uphold me with His righteous right hand.
I refuse to take on board anymore of Satan’s thoughts, ideas, his lies, deceit, and deception; in the name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. I accept through Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary, Jesus died once and for all to set me this captive free. He has washed, cleansed and purified me through His Shed Blood. I have admitted all my sin before Him and I have received His forgiveness and love once and for all.

I pray for wisdom and protection, I admit my inner struggles in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask for His strength and courage to stand firm, upright and straight in Him. He has promised that He will protect me through His name and His Blood and I shall bring honour, glory, and praise to my heavenly Father through His precious and holy Name. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘The Certainty of God's Promise’

Reading: Hebrews 6:13-15

“God has made a promise.”

Prayer

Father, You have made certain promises to me, which I accept, for there is no one greater than You. You give me everything in this world, because I am joint heir with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When You have made a promise to me, my faith in You believes it, my hope anticipates it, and my patience quietly awaits it. I do this with great expectations in the Lord. I will not distrust You or disbelieve You; I will not waver (doubt or question) You concerning Your promises to me, and I will grow stronger in my faith in You. You will empower me in faith to love and trust You, in the Spirit of God, through Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. Everything He speaks will be fulfilled at His appointed time. I give all the honour, praise, and glory to You always in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

When God makes promises with His people, He honours what He has said, and the promises He has made with us will come to fruition at His appointed time. Sometimes, we see His promises fulfilled immediately, and at other times, He will make us wait to test our faith in Him. Abraham had to wait patiently to have the son God promised him; it took twenty five years for God’s word to come to pass. Sometimes our trials and the temptations we face are so intense they seem to last for eternity. The Bible and the testimony of mature Christians encourage us to wait for God to act in His timing, even when our needs appear too great to wait any longer. We must be prepared to wait on God to do whatever is necessary in our lives. This is part of His plan to teach us patience and waiting. They go hand-in-hand with one another. His plans will unfold when He is ready to unfold them, and we need to be ready to receive those plans from Him.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Entrust My Cares to God’

If you humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up.
Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 TLB

Prayer

O my precious Lord, I come before You and humble myself under Your almighty hand. In Your good time You will lift me up. I shall let You have all my worries and cares I entrust my problems into Your care. You are responsible for me for I am Your child. My conflicts concern You and You have promised to sustain me as I cast all my cares upon You.
Teach me to look to Your Word to guide and lead my conduct to You. Help me to seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; as I ask Jesus to steady my course.
I lean upon You for Your strength and courage and depend upon Your wisdom and find shelter and refuge in Your arms.
You will produce within me outstanding results as Your fruit shall grow within me, and the fruit will be seen in the world. You have taken all my problems and I have engaged Your mighty power to work on my behalf in the honour, praise, and glory of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God.
Thank You for fighting my battles for me. May I always have the results God wants me to have in His precious and peerless name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Nothing Is Ever Wasted’

We can rejoice too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they good for us – they help us learn to be patient. (Romans 5:3 TLB)
.
Prayer

Lord Jesus, nothing is ever wasted – not even in the hard difficult times You want me to face. You are teaching me more and more about trusting in God. This will help me to grow in faith as I continue to obey Your Word.
Holy Spirit, You are teaching me more and more how to depend upon, rely upon, and to lean upon You. I cannot always see Your presence in my life, but in faith and with confidence, I know You are always there for me. You have given me Your promise that You will never leave me, nor will You ever forsake me. You have said, “Your presence would go with me wherever I go.” This is good enough for me and I trust You in faith what You have said to me You shall surely do.
Continue to reinforce my faith. Build me up in the very nature and characteristics of Jesus Christ. Let my faith and confidence be deep rooted and grounded to Him in everything I do and let me always remember that He must take the first place within my life and include Him in everything I do.
May I bring all the glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving to God through my relationship with Him through Jesus Christ?

May the glory of God shine forth within me that I may witness and testify that the ‘Light of the World, Jesus Christ abides within me and I abide and dwell within Him for the honour, praise and glory of His Kingdom and Name . Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘Unfailing Love’

Reading: Exodus 15:13

“You will lead the people.”

Prayer

Father, I thought my sufferings and hopelessness were bitter beyond words. Through this awful time, I grieved over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope, and I remember this: the unfailing love of the Lord is never ending! By His mercies I am kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness as His mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore I will hope in Him!” It is good for those who wait and seek Him for the Lord is wonderful and good. To wait quietly for salvation from the Lord and to submit to the yoke of His discipline is the only way. Can anything happen to us without the Lord’s permission? Is it not the Most High who helps one and harms another? Why should we humans complain when we are punished for our sins? Instead, let us test and examine our ways and turn again in repentance to Christ Jesus our precious Lord. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

God’s love is unfailing and it never ends. By His mercies He keeps us from complete destruction. His faithfulness and great mercies begin afresh each day. He is our inheritance, and we put our hope in Him. It has been good for us to wait and seek Him, for the Lord has been wonderful and good to us, and we are thankful He disciplines us when necessary. We are under His yoke and mantle, and He leads us and redeems us in His strength and will guide us to His holy dwelling.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘You Choose my Friends’

A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses. (Proverbs 27:19TLB)
Prayer

Holy Spirit, I ask You to bring me the right friend, just like You did for Elijah and Elisha. You know all my needs, and You have promised to bring someone to me, who I can be evenly yoked together in Christ. Someone, who I can walk in step with, someone, I can develop openness and sharing. Someone I can fully trust in God. Someone, who will not betray anything that is being said to them and someone who can keep confidences, help me Jesus, as my Friend, to build godly and righteous friendships that keeps loneliness at bay and sharpens me for Your good and blessed purposes for me.

Jesus, I ask You to open the doors of service within my church and use all the gifts and talents You have given to me to magnify, glorify and praise the name of God in Christ Jesus now and forever more. Amen.

Stand silent! Know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation in the world!”
(Psalm 46:10 TLB)

Prayer

Father God, although sometimes I feel desolation in my life, You have anchored me to Jesus Christ Your Son. He is my sure hope. He is my hiding place an ever present help in my times of trouble. New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Discovering God's Will

Reading: Psalm 86:8-11

“Teach me what You want me to do.”

Prayer

Holy Spirit, my desires are for You to teach me Your ways. More than anything, I desire to walk in Your truth. Lord, You say, “You would move everyone out of my life that hinders Your plans for me.” However, hard it is for me I praise and thank You for doing this. You know what is right and best for me. I do not ever what to be the one who is an obstacle standing in the way of Your plans for me. I am so grateful to You for Your love and strength You provide me with in this matter. I ask You for my heart to be neutral and You will speak of Your plans for me in my life. You have prepared a plan for me even before I was born to this earth. I wish to discover Your will for me; please show me how this is done, as I never want to be out of Your will. The only thing worth having in my life is the will of God, in accordance to His promises for the glory of Jesus Name. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The Holy Spirit of God is the only One who teaches us the truth about the Gospel of Christ. We must walk in His truth and not follow deceit and deception any longer. It is so important to have a mind and heart that is alert and discerning in Christ. Without discernment we are unable to distinguish the truth from the lies of the evil spirits and forces of the earth. We need God’s help to empower and enable us to do this but must not hinder or create any obstacles which may impede God’s plans. We must be determined to discover God’s will for our lives and ask Him to unfold His plans within our hearts. He will only give us His best; all we need to do is follow Him in submission and obedience to His will and He will do the rest.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God will Carry Your Burdens’

Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall. He will send my enemies to the pit of destruction. Murderers and liars will not live out half their days. But I am trusting You to save me. (Psalm 55:22-23 TLB)

Prayer

Master, sometimes the burdens, anxieties and troubles are too heavy for me to carry. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit of God, to cast all of my burdens, anxieties, cares and troubles upon You through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. It is good to know You sustain me with Your righteous right hand and You will deliver me through Your supernatural power.
Thank You for Your broad shoulders, sturdy hands, and compassionate heart You show towards me.
Thank you for easing my load daily, and shining forth Your light in return for my heaviness. I trust in You, alone with all of my heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul.
My confidence and faith is in You alone. I shall focus upon Your power and receive Your all-sufficient help. You have never let me down. You will not let me slip or fall. You will take care of all my enemies and send them to the pit of destruction.

Jesus, You have heard all of my pleas and cries. You have enabled me to persevere and do the job You are calling me to do for the glory, praise, honour and power of Your holy and precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘You Have Called Me’

I know even now God will give you whatever You ask. (John 11:21 NIV).

Prayer

Precious Lord, when it seems as if my world is upside down and all is out of control, I ask You to help me to have a strong and trusting faith. You may not remove the pain of my circumstances, but You will be my Guide and lead me through all the difficulties I face.
For I am Your Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God has prepared in advance for me to do.
Your plan for my life is a unique plan. No one else will be able to do the work You are calling me to do as You have called me specifically for this work. You have placed Your anointing and gifts upon me through Your Holy Spirit, and at Your appointed time You will guide and lead me into the ministry You have waiting for me.

I wait in great expectation for I know God’s glory will be seen through my life and God’s promises to me will be fulfilled over every issue and detail of my life for His glory, kingdom and name. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘We Commit to God’

Reading: Proverbs 16:3

“We should be dedicated to God”

Prayer

Father, I commit my will, works, ways, and thoughts to You, O God. I lean upon, rely upon, and depend upon You through the Holy Spirit of God. I ask You to meet all my needs in accordance to Your riches in glory. I desire Your thoughts and Your ways to control my mind and heart. I wish to walk in submission, yielding and being obedient to Jesus Christ. I think about the goodness and greatness of my God. He only is worthy of my praise, love, and adoration. You are such a loving and faithful God. Why would I want to serve anyone else other than You? I know I will never be able to exhaust my ability to think about the goodness and greatness of God. I will never reach the end of my praise to Him. I will go on praising and loving You even into eternity where my real home is in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

We should be dedicated to God and ask Him to give us a heart for His people as we commit and commend our prayers to Him. If we do this our plans will succeed. We must not be a superficial people who do not commit our work to God, nor must we be people who want to do everything for themselves. We should give God temporary control of our interests and not want to take control back from God the moment things stop going our way or the way we expect them to go. Every bit of effort of our lives should be put into our lives with God, so He can do exactly what He has planned for us. We must not withhold anything of ourselves from Him. We must want to maintain a delicate balance, trusting God as if everything depends on Him, while working as everything depends on us.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Prayer Sustains Me’

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore be earnest, thoughtful men of prayer.
(1 Peter 4:7 TLB)

Prayer

Father God, I shall not go into this dangerous world without prayer. I shall seek Your kingdom and Your name and not give up until I hear from You on the matter I am praying about. It is necessary for me to rise early in the morning just like Jesus did, and come to You in prayer and pour out my heart to You.
You enable me to lay all my troubles down at Your feet. I am able to discuss everything with You which troubles me.  You will lead and guide me into Your desired will and I have made the decision to follow You through the Holy Spirit of God in the name of Jesus Christ.
You know my heart and You know all the answers to the problems I have. You will meet all of my needs in accordance to Your will as I continue walking in the ‘Light with the Lord Jesus Christ’ in faith.
I pray for Your perfect will to be done over every single situation I face.
I know You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift, which comes from heaven above. You have promised me to do all the necessary things needed for my good. I want to thank you Lord Jesus, for everything You have done for me.

Jesus, what I have gathered in my prayer life with You, thank You for Your wisdom, godliness, and righteousness, which have been given to me through God’s grace, mercy, and power to do His will. Praise and thanks be to God now and forever more. I pray in the almighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, my precious Lord, now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Anchored to Christ’

‘Anchored to Christ’

Around midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to the Lord – and the other prisoners were listening (Acts 16:25 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, let me be rooted and grounded in You. Let me be anchored to the Source and Strength of my soul, spirit, body, and mind through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. You are my joy and I rejoice in You always. I know Your power is above all the principalities, powers and dominions in the world and You have promised You will deliver me through the glory of Your kingdom and name.
When the trials come let me respond: to resist in Your name and run straight to the throne of God’s grace and mercy I acknowledge Him in my situations.
I retreat into complete submission to God’s power and will. I shall reap the rewards of God, going through the difficulties with Jesus Christ, leading me all the way through the Holy Spirit of God.
I put my love, faith, and confidence in Christ’s power and not my own. He is always loving and faithful to me. He has promised never to leave or forsake me. He will never let me down. He will guide my footsteps and lead me into the places He wants me to be. Only He can open the doors of opportunities for me, and He will close the doors He does not want me to go through. I put my trust and confidence in Him forever and always giving all the praise, glory and honour to God my heavenly Father through Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

You Will Guide Me

Reading: Psalm 48:14

“God will guide us to the very end.”

Prayer

My beloved God, You are my hiding place, and You will protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Please guide me on the right pathway to the very end of my life here on earth. You will advise me and watch over me. Let all of my thoughts become pure in You. I lay down all my resentments, sharp words, impure thoughts, or selfish attitudes at the Cross of Christ. I ask Him to forgive my sins and ask Him to set me free. I do not want anyone to have a hold upon me other than You. Once I confess my sin to You, You do not hold anything against me. Your shed blood washes, cleanses, and purifies me and has made me clean. These sins have taken their toll on my spiritual vitality. I receive all of Your love and forgiveness. May my heart be changed into the ways and will of Christ. Let the Light of Christ and His amazing grace be deep rooted and grounded within my heart, mind, spirit, and soul. In quietness and confidence You shall be my strength, always and forever more in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

We must seek God daily to guide and lead us into the centre of His will. Any struggles or decision we may have to make we must consult with God and ask Him to help us. He is the One who will enable us to make the right choices and decisions, which are in accordance with His will. The Holy Spirit of God should be our constant companion, and He will guide us into having an intimate knowledge of the way He wants us to go. He helps us interpret what God is saying correctly. The Holy Spirit is our Guide who God sent to us through Jesus Christ to lead us to the places and people He wants us to be with. This is all we need is to listen and depend upon Him and He will surely do the rest.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Deep Conviction’

And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy – the kind He can accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how His ways will really satisfy you. (Romans 12:1-2 TLB)

Prayer

Thank You, Jesus, for taking my sins away from me and taking the punishment that I should have had, upon Yourself. You were pierced for my transgressions, You were crushed for my iniquities, the punishment that brought peace to my heart You took upon Yourself, and by Your wounds and stripes I am forever healed in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Jesus, for rescuing me from the power of darkness and this world. I know that the power of darkness has no more hold upon me because Your Shed Blood has been the atonement for my freedom and my faith in Christ Jesus has set me free.
Thank You, Jesus, for making it possible for me to have a deep and meaningful relationship with our Father, You and the Holy Spirit of God.
I will not copy the behavior and customs of this world. I am a new creation: (This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLB). Therefore, I am a different person with a fresh newness in Christ. I will not allow the world to squeeze me into a mould, but I shall be convicted to stand for Christ Jesus, my precious Lord. Nothing will sway me from following God through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.
May my heart be convicted to know that my Father in Heaven has sent me to the earth to do His will just like He sent Jesus Christ my Saviour to do His will in obedience? I also choose to walk in obedience to God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit of God.

I ask You to grant me the knowledge, wisdom, ability, to offer You my body as a living sacrifice, holy – the kind You can accept through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God’s is with Me’

“Now is the time to do it, while the Lord is blessing us with peace because of our obedience to Him,” He told His people. “Let us build and fortify cities now, with walls, tower, gates, and bars.” So they went ahead with these projects very successfully.
“O Lord,” he cried out to God, “no one else can help us! Here we are, powerless against this mighty army. Oh, help us, Lord our God! For we trust in You alone to rescue us, and in Your name we attack this vast horde. Don’t let mere men defeat You!” (2 Chronicles 14:7,11 TLB)

“Listen to me, Asa! Listen, armies of Judah and Benjamin!” he shouted. “The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with Him! Whenever you look for Him, you will find Him. But if you forsake Him, He will forsake You. But you men of Judah, keep up the good work and don’t get discouraged, for you will be rewarded.” (2 Chronicles 15:2,7 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You will build walls around me, with towers, gates, and bars. The land is still mine, because I have sought the Lord my God, I sought Him and He has given me rest on every side. You have blessed me with peace because of my obedience to You. So, I can go ahead with these projects very successfully.
I know that no one else can help me but You, O God. I am powerless without You. Lord, there is no one like You, my God. I am totally reliant upon You for everything l need in my life.
“O Lord,” I cried out to God, “no one else can help me! I need Your help against the mighty army that is against me. O Lord, please will You help me! My trust is in You alone to rescue me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.
Do not let man prevail against me O God. I shall listen to You for guidance and instruction, You will lead me into the way You want me to go. You are with me, You have promised never to leave me nor forsake me and I will never want to forsake You.
As for me, I shall be strong in the almighty power of God and I will never give up until I see God’s purpose fulfilled within my life, and He will be the One who will reward me for the work I will do in His name. He will establish His kingdom here on earth and in heaven for everything is controlled by His almighty hand in His name the name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

My Old Nature

Reading: Galatians 5:16-17

“Live by the Spirit.”

Prayer

Father, I confess to You I have been living in my old sinful nature. I have allowed outbursts of anger, emotions, and feelings to take place in my life. Instead of taking responsibilities for my sins, I have blamed everyone else except me for my sins. Please forgive me. I lay down my emotions, anger, and feelings on the Cross with You. Wash and purify me from this sinful nature. Wash me in the Blood of Christ. Let me live my life in the Holy Spirit of God. I will not gratify the desire of my sinful nature any longer. I do not want to desire anything that is contrary to the Spirit of God. Holy Spirit, I want to follow You with all of Your teachings. Please empower me from heaven above. Enable me to follow You with my new nature in the nature of Christ Jesus. Control my life and fill me with all of the good fruits of the Spirit of God: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, goodness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law. I receive this prayer answered in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

God teaches us how to live each day with the Holy Spirit of God, leaning, relying, and depending upon Him to supply our needs. He will guide and lead us with His counsel. We must meditate on the Word of God. His Word should dwell richly within our hearts and minds. The love of Jesus Christ should be behind our actions. His power controls our selfish desires. Our old lives are dead and buried with Jesus on the Cross. We must want to live our new lives with Him. He is only One who can help us not to gratify the desires of our sinful natures. Our sinful natures are contrary to the Spirit of God and the Spirit of God which is contrary to the sinful nature’s desire. They are in conflict with each other. We must do what the Spirit of God wants. Being led by the Holy Spirit involves the desire to hear the readiness to obey God’s Word and the sensitivity to discern between our feelings, emotions, and His promptings.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God is in All Things’

This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours! (Isaiah 55:8 TLB)

Prayer

Father, I know that there is nothing on this earth that is a coincident. You are indeed in everything. Nothing is out of Your reach. Everything abides under Your controlling hand.
You have promised to work all things together within me into such a fashion that good comes out of it all. Nothing, that happens by chance with You, O God. You always have a purpose in mind when You allow me to be tested. Sometimes, it is to refine me. Sometimes, it is to draw me closer to You in my walk with You.
This plan of Yours for my life will work out. Whatever I have to face today I know You know exactly why You want me to go through this. For Your thoughts and ways are not my thoughts nor are my ways Your ways.

My trust is completely in You. You will help me to become the person You created me to be as You knit me together in my mother’s womb. Your plans for my life will succeed. I continue to walk in obedience to Your perfect Sovereign Word and Will. May Your name be glorified, magnified and exalted through me forever and always in the precious name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. May I always honour and please and glorify God in His sight through Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Keep in Step with His Spirit’

If we are living now by the Holy Spirit’s power, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:25 TLB)

Prayer

Father, I desire to live my life in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Let me follow Your Spirit’s leading in every single part of my life. I ask You for Your Wisdom, Insight, and Revelation to know You better. I ask You to enlighten me in order that I may know the hope within my heart with Your glory and presence leading me into Your perfect will.
I ask You to transform me and enable me to depend upon the Holy Spirit of God. I desire to depend and lean upon Him for all of my needs in everything I do. May I glorify and magnify the Lord my God through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.

Life is victorious for me. I abide and rest in and yield to the Spirit of God. He teaches me to pray, work, study, read and accept the responsibility that I am under the controlling hand of God. He has liberated me in the freedom through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. My faith is simplistic and I do believe that God will work out His divine purpose He has predestined and planned for my life in accordance to His perfect will. I shall continue to be submissive and walk with an obedient heart in the heart of Jesus Christ, now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Centered upon Christ

Reading: Ephesians 1:9-10

“The mystery of His will.”

Prayer

O my beloved God, I shall centre my whole life upon Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your secret plan. I hold it close to my heart. You designed Your plan for me long ago in accordance to Your good pleasure. This is just one more reason why I should praise and worship the Lord my God. Furthermore, because of Christ, we have received an inheritance from God. He chose us from the beginning, and all things happened just as He decided long ago. Your purpose was I was the first person within my family to trust in Christ and that I should praise our glorious God. I believe in Christ; He identified me as His own by giving me the Holy Spirit of God to live inside of me. The Spirit of God is God’s guarantee to me. He gives me everything He has promised me as He purchased me to be His own in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Our lives should be centered upon our Lord Jesus Christ. He teaches us at our conversion, step by step, how to draw closer to Him. We learn great and wonderful lessons through reading His Word and praying to God. God designs our lives, right from the very beginning as He did with Jesus. We were with Him in the very beginning even before we came and were born to the earth. This revelation helps us in our walk with God. He is the One who makes known the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ. God was not intentionally keeping His plan secret (“the mystery of His will”), but His plan for the world could not be fully understood until Christ rose from the dead. His purpose for sending Jesus was to unite us together in one body with Christ as the head. Many people still do not understand God’s plan but when the time is right (“when the times will have reached their fulfillment”), He will us together to be with Him forever.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Inner Strength’

You are Peter, a stone; and upon this rock I will build My church; and all the powers of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18 TLB)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You, promised to build the church; and all the powers of hell shall not prevail against it. I declare today: ‘I will never give up!’ No matter what path I travel, I ask You, Lord, to direct my steps and lead me on the path of righteousness, holiness and godliness. These paths will lead me straight to God through Jesus Christ. I will stand firm in my faith in You. I know You will deliver me through the trials and tribulations no matter whether those paths are rough or smooth. I know You will send Your angles and arch-angles to protect me and all my family in Jesus Christ’s name.
The victory is mine in Jesus Christ. You are my Inner Strength, my True Source of help in all my times of trouble I will draw my Strength from You.
I have made my choice and have decided to be a true and faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and follow the Way, the Truth and the Life which is hidden in Him. You will build Your church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against me.

You have given me the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and I shall use those keys wisely to honour, praise and glory of God through the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Abandon to God’

Be imitators of Me, as I am of Christ. Now I commend you because you remember Me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.
(1 Corinthians 11:1-2 ESV)

Prayer

Father God, I have set You before me and You are preparing the way. You are in the centre of my life in Christ Jesus. I will come to the right place, which Jesus wants; and I am determined to abandon myself to God completely, surrendering my heart, body, mind, spirit and soul to His perfect will. I totally surrender my life to Him.
Jesus, You have given me and unrestrained, an adventurous spirit, as I have placed my trust and faith completely in You. I am prepared to take the risks You want me to take in a leap of faith placing my confidence in Christ Jesus and in the Holy Spirit of God. I will be an imitator of Jesus Christ as I abide in Him. I will maintain the tradition and be an imitator of You, even as You delivered them to me what You say I am to do. You have given me common sense, and as I test the trials, in faith, I will find that they are the very words of God.
I trust God will bring me fresh and new opportunities He has for my life; I grasp those opportunities with both my hands. I will praise and exalt God with all of my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit which will bring honour and glory to His name forever and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘I Am in the Race’

Reading: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

“We get the eternal prize.”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I am in the race in such a way that I desire to win the prize. Let me run with You to win the prize and reap the rewards of my faith in Christ. Holy Spirit, help me to practice self-control and always go for the eternal prize. Let me run straight to the goal of my purpose with each step I take. Let me be disciplined in Christ and empower me to do things in His will and ways. At each crossroad in my life there are choices that I have to make. Holy Spirit, help me to make all the right choices. Sometimes this will mean I need to give up something good in order to do what God wants. I am willing to do this. I am determined that discipline and denial must be what God wants from me. Do not let me be influenced by man/woman again. Let me always be under the influence of my God under control of the Holy Spirit of God. Sustain me in the power of Jesus Christ’s name and let me have a strong spiritual backbone, in the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Being true disciples of Jesus Christ, we should wish for more than anything to win the race that is required of us to have purpose and discipline. We know that being a Christian takes hard work, self-denial, and gruelling preparation. As Christians, we must run toward our heavenly reward. The essential disciplines we should have are  prayer, Bible Study, and worshipping God, which equip us to run the race with vigour and stamina. We do not want to merely observe from the grandstand, nor do we want to jog a couple of laps each morning but be in it for the long haul to receive the eternal prize of our faith by training diligently as our spiritual progress depends on it.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Present your Petitions’

Then you will present your petitions over my signature! And I won’t need to ask the Father to grant you theses requests, for the Father Himself, loves you dearly because you love Me and believe that I came from the Father. (John 16:26-27 TLB)

Prayer

O my beloved God, I praise and thank You that I am able to ask You in Your name – that is, it is in Your nature for my prayers to be answered. I am so intimate with You and I am One with You.
Jesus, said, “Because of His name, God will recognize and respond to my prayers,” I am so grateful to You for responding to the prayers I petition before You for the heart and core of Your people. Thank You for laying their names upon my heart enabling me to pray daily for them. This is a great challenge and invitation to me – to pray in Your name, and to have enough love, faith, and confidence to know  that when I pray You hear me and when I know You hear me then I know my prayers will be answered by You for them at Your appointed time.
I trust You that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Through the resurrection and ascension power of Jesus Christ, and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, He has been sent to me to live within me; I have been lifted up into such a relationship with Him. I rely, lean and depend upon Him for all things.

Now, I am in the right position with God I can pray in Jesus name and in His nature I expect Him to answer me for my great expectations are in Him and not in me. Thank You Jesus, for being there for me. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Directly to the Father’

At that time you won’t need to ask Me for anything, for you can go directly to the Father and ask Him, and He will give what you ask for because you use My name. (John 16:23 NLB)

Prayer

O my precious Lord, I will not need to ask You for anything, for I can go directly to the Father and ask Him, and He will give me what I ask for because I use Your name. I am so thankful and grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the Son of God and He has set me free to be in a relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit the Triune God and I am thankful for everything they have done for me in Christ Jesus.
Father, I leave all of the details of my family and friends to You as I am unable to do anything more for them but pray for them.
I choose to be in Your will and I surrender entirely to the Trinity and the God-head in Jesus Christ’s precious name. I shall walk in faith and not by sight. I don’t need to ask You anything – because I am certain that You, O God, will reveal the things You want me to know in accordance to Your Sovereign will.

I have the faith and peace of Jesus Christ reigning within my heart, with His attitudes I will follow Him as He counsels me through the Holy Spirit of God. I look to my inner nature and I submit to the life of Jesus Christ, and do things the way He wants me to do. He will make my understanding perfectly clear, and I have come to the place where there is no distance between my Father and me. I am His child because through the Lord Jesus Christ, He has made me One with Him for the glory, praise and honour of His kingdom and name. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Keep My Thoughts

Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

“We have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

Prayer

O my beloved God, You keep my thoughts. I ask You to bring all my thoughts into captivity in obedience to Christ Jesus. Bring me Your plans, and I will follow them so the outcome of those plans will be determined by You. By carrying out Your will please let my partnership, friendship, and total dependence upon Jesus Christ grow in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I will make and apply every effort and completely submit to Christ with total obedience in my relationship with Him. I need Your help to act in a godly way so Your plans will be fulfilled in me. I live for You. I ask for Your guidance. May Your plans come alive once again in me. I trust You further whilst in my walk with God. You examine my heart, and You know all my motives. Let the motives be all You want them to be. I ask You to make Your plans succeed for me as You determine the steps I take in Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

We should have our thoughts and minds under the control of God. We are weak human beings, but we do not need to use human plans and methods to win our battles. God’s mighty weapons are available to us to fight against Satan’s (the enemy’s strongholds). Being Christians we must choose whose methods we want to use: God’s weapons or the world’s? God has assured us of His mighty weapons of prayer, faith, hope, and love. God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, is powerful and effective. These weapons can break down any proud human arguments against God. The walls that Satan builds are to keep God’s people from a relationship with Jesus Christ, and he wants them to be tempting to us to use our own methods instead of relying upon God. Trusting God in faith is the only way to live your life here on earth. He is a faithful and true God to those who believe in Him. As one’s faith and trust increases you will see clearly God is faithful and trustworthy to those who put their confidence and trust in faith in Him.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘My Refuge and Strength’

God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1 TLB)

Prayer

Father God, thank You for being my refuge and strength, a very present help in all my times of trouble. Thank You for Your amazing grace which is my help. Thank You I will never be too proud to ask You for the help that I need. Thank You for the gift and seal of ownership You have placed to live inside of me through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I know apart from Him I could not experience Your divine provisions for me.
Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ to die for me and saving me from all my sins. I thank Him for taking my sin debt and paying it in full on the Cross of Calvary. He was pierced for my transgressions, He was crushed for my iniquities, the punishment that brought peace to my heart He took upon Himself, and by His wounds and stripes I am forever healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I accept and receive His unconditional love and grace and His unlimited compassion for my life. Jesus, You can sympathize with me. You can identify with my weaknesses, my fears, my anxieties and worries. You are not distant, cold, nor are You detached from me. I shall stand strong in Your grace. Receive Your help. Relax in Your acceptance. Bask in Your compassion. Yes, I shall surely rest in Your grace for You are with me forever and ever in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.
