‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – God is Great

Psalm 147:5-6 TLB How great he is! His power is absolute! His understanding is unlimited. The Lord supports the humble, but brings the wicked into the dust.

The day we believed and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ we begin to understand who we are in Him. We must not accept the negativity from man/women about ourselves, which is untrue. First, we have to admit to God we have allowed such feelings and emotions to affect our relationship with Him by limiting what He has given us. Even when family and friends doubt the plans and actions God may have scheduled for our lives, we still must obey God, and we will be blessed by doing so. God will show us through His Spirit how we should deal with the Devil and his evil demonic forces, which control our mind-set. He empowers us through His supernatural power and teaches us to bind the Devil’s works, which rise up against us. Praying is the only way to deal with the trials we face. Matthew 18:18, tells us how to overcome the demonic forces by binding the strong man then dealing with him in Jesus Christ’s name and blood. We should allow nothing to cause us to doubt God’s Word or promises. Jesus is the One who set us free through His Cross and the truth of His Word. He will do the same for us all.

Prayer

Father God, You are great! Your power is absolute! Your understanding is unlimited. You support the humble in heart, and You bring the wicked to the dust. How grateful and thankful we are for Your Holy Presence, Your precious Son Jesus Christ, who dwells and lives in us. We are thankful He shows us through prayer, how to deal with our enemies, and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit He has won the victory for us in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
