GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS

 

 

Proverbs 3:6 NLT Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. 

 

It is so important for me to listen to God’s instructions. I need to learn the values, morals, and priorities by observing and behaving and reacting in the way God shows me in His teachings. I need to understand what is right, just, and fair. I need to be filled with God’s wisdom and knowledge, and then my heart will be filled with joy. I need to be wise so I am able to follow God’s plan and His plan will come to pass at His appointed time.

 

Prayer

 

Father, it is so important that I listen to Your voice in everything I do, everywhere I go; You are the One who will help me to reach the goals You have planned for my life and keep me on track. You have set a timeline for me to follow. I must follow the direction and the instruction of the Holy Spirit, and He will guide and lead me confidently in His perfect plan in Jesus Name. I trust You in confident faith I will reach the goals Yo have made for my life, and at Your appointed time Your plans will come to pass. I adore, love, glorify, and exalt Your precious name forever and always in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen

 

BE OBEDIENT

 

1 Timothy 1:18-19 NLT Timothy my son, here are My instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles. Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people here diliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.

 

The elders of the church spoke a prophetic word over me, and I knew this was a direct word from God. I highly valued the gift God had given to me and I was absolutely going to be obedient and follow the instructions God gave to me. I made sure my conscience was clear, treasured my faith in Christ more than anything else,and I would do what I knew to do which would be right. I did not want to ignore my conscience or harden my heart. I ask for wisdom and discernment so I would discern the difference between right and wrong. I asked the Holy Spirit of God to help me. I did not want my faith to be violated or shipwrecked.

 

Prayer 

 

Heavenly Father, I ask You to give me the gift of Wisdom and Revelation in the Knowledge of You. May my eyes of my heart be enlightened, and may I know the hope to which You have called me. There is a future hope for me and it will not be cut off. I thank You through the Holy Spirit of God, You enable and empower me to live a life which honours God. I praise and thank You always and forever more in Jesus’ name. Amen

 

THE HOLY SPIRIT

 

 

John 14:16-17 NLT You didn’t choose Me, I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit so that the Father will give you whatever you asked for using My name. This is My command: Love each other.

 

I can never thank Jesus enough for choosing me. He has chosen me to represent Him to the world. 

I remember when I first became a Chrisitan, I went to a lady whom I cared for as she needed help. She had been a Christian for a long time. On this particular visit she said to me, “Avril, I am of the old soil, but you are of the new soil, the virgin soil.” At the time I had no idea what she was talking about and It took a while before God gave me the understanding of what those words meant.  After my visit to her a few days later, I heard and she had died and gone to be with the Lord.

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, I pray that I keep my eyes focused upon You. I ask the Holy Spirit of God, to keep me alert and not get overly focused on circumstances and problems, so I can redirect my attention to You. You know where You want me to sow the seeds of God, and the people whom You have chosen to be Your people. I ask the Holy Spirit of God, to guide and lead me to the people He wants to sow the seeds too. I commit and commend this prayer to You, in the precious name Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen

LISTEN TO JESUS

 

 

Isaiah 46:3-4 NLT I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

 

It is awesome to know God cared and knew me before and after I was born to the earth. He will be my God throughout my lifetime. He made me, and He will take care of me, He has carried me along and He has saved me. 

He does not remember the things I have done in my past. For He alone is God! He is God, there is no-one like Him. Only He can tell me the future before it even happens. Everything He has planned for my life will come to pass at His appointed time, for He does whatever He wishes.

 

Prayer

 

Father, how awesome You are and there is no-one like You. Thank You for caring and carrying me before I was born to the earth. You have made a plan for my life, and my future belongs to You. No-one can stop the plans You have made for my life no matter how hard they try. I praise and thank You for everything You are doing for me in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 

 

FOR GET THE FORMER THINGS

 

Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT But forget all that – It is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

 

At times it has been hard for me to forget the former things I was involved with before I knew God. It was only when I cried out to God, and Jesus came into my life things began to change. Once that happened, I could not get enough of God’s Word. I would bathe in the Scriptures, continually asking God to reveal to me what they meant for me. 

When God led me to this verse, I began to see what He was revealing to me. He wanted me to forget the past, and my past was nothing compared to what He was going to do for me in the future with my life with Jesus Christ. He was going to do something knew, and He had already begun doing it. Where I had been walking in the wilderness for the first forty years of my life, now Jesus was living in my heart and life, there was no need for me to walk in the wilderness any longer. God would make it clear to me the pathway He wanted me to take and I would walk on it. 

 

Prayer

 

Jesus, I remember those wonderful days when I first met You. Sometimes, I laughed and sometimes I cried with You, but I have never given up, nor have I forgotten what You have done for me. 

I lost many friends because of my faith in You, my friends and loved ones did not seem to understand the importance of my relationship with You. They walked away from me, but Lord, You never have. 

Lord, I will forget the former things, I will not dwell on my past, for I can see You are doing new things in my life, and You are making them clear to me for the glory, honour, and praise of the Lord Jesus Christ name.  Amen

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

 

Exodus 33:11 NLT One day Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Take these people up to the Promised Land.’ But You haven’t told me whom You will send with me.’I know you by name, and I look favorably on you.’”

 

The most important friendship I could ever have is the relationship I have with God. He speaks to those who listen to Him and walk in obedience to Him. I am certainly not perfect, gifted, or powerful; rather it is because God has chosen me. God has filled the gaps in my lifewhere I was empty and lost. He shows me my true worth, which I learnt when I met with the Lord Jesus Christ. Having confidence in Him tailors my life, and He prepares me for each situation I find myself in here on earth. I am content and feel the fulness of Christ’s life in me. He renews my strength daily with His supernatural power. He energizes and empowers me with His presence from above.

 

Prayer

 

Gracious God, how grateful and thankful I can have a real relationship with You, through Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. This is the greatest relationship I could ever have. I thank You for the help You give to me in doing this through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen

 

DIRECTLY TO THE FATHER

 

John 16:23 NLT At the time you won’t need to ask Me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and He will grant your requests because you use My name.

 

Having a relationship with God, through the name of Jesus is the best realtionship I have ever had. I can approach the throne of heaven directly, and as long as I am walking an obedient life, and follow the commandments of God, then God will answer my prayer’s in the name of Jesus Christ. I come to God with a confident heart, and my faith in Him, teaches me I can rely, depend, and lean upon the Holy Spirit of God to guide and lead me in accordance to God’s will.  

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, I come directly to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask You to fulfill the plans, dreams, and vision You have predestined for my life in the name of Jesus Christ. 

I will be obedient and follow Your commandments, and through the Holy Spirit of God, I will lean, rely, depend upon Him to ask Him to meet all my needs in accordance to Your riches in glory. My heart is confident In You. I know You have heard my prayer and will answer me at Your appointed time in Jesus’ name. Amen

  

GOD’S WAY’S ARE PERFECT

Psalm 18:30 NLT God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection.

 

We need to appropriate our heavenly position which has been given to us in Christ Jesus and know there is no condemnation for us. Some people think that belief in God is a crutch for weak people who cannot make it on their own. God is indeed a shield to protect us when we are too weak to face certain trials by ourselves, but He does not want us to remain weak. He strengthens, protects and guides us in order to send us back into an evil world to fight for Him. Then He continues to work with us because the strongest person on earth He is the strongest is infinitely weaker than God and needs His help. I am not a coward; I am a mighty warrior through prayer who knows that only God can ultimately protect and save me and the people I pray for in the name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord.

 

Prayer

 

Father, Your way is perfect and all Your promises prove true. You are a shield for all those who look to You for protection. I have appropriated my heavenly position in Jesus Christ and know there is no condemnation for me because I believe in Him. I AM WHAT I AM

 

Romans 15:5-6 NLT May God, who gives this patience and encouragment, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.

 

As Christians, we need to live together in peace, encouraging one another in faith. Accepting means taking people into our homes as well as into our hearts, sharing meals and activiities, and avoiding racial and economic discrimination. We must go out of our way to avoid favouritism. Consciously spending time greeting those you don’t normally talk to, minimize differences, and seek common groung for fellowship. In this way you are accepting others as Christ has accepted you, and God is given glory.

 

Prayer

 

Gracious God, I pray for patience and encouragment to help me live in complete harmony with others. I want to be like Jesus, accepting others, sharing meals and activities, and avoiding racial and economic discrimination. I will go out of my way to avoid favouritism, but try to treat everyone the same as Jesus would. I pray I may glorify, magnify, and exalt Your name forever and always in Christ. Amen

GOD’S PATIENCE

 

Romans 5:3-5 NLT We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens or confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.

 

Having God’s patience is a learnt skill. It is constant prayer, seeking the face of God, asking Him constatnly to develop patience within me. He allows me to experience difficulties at times this helps me to grow in Him. I rejoice in suffering, not because I like pain or deny its tragedy, but because I know God is using life’s difficulties and Satan’s attacks to build my character. The problems I run into develop perserverance – which in turn will strengthen my character, deepen my trust in God, and gives me greater confidence and patience about the future God has planned for me.

 

 

Prayer

 

Father, I can rejoice in my sufferings, and difficulties, I know You are using my life’s difficulties and Satan’s attacks to build my character and faith in You. I am so grateful and thankful to You for building my life upon Christ Jesus. My faith, love, hope, and trust is in the Holy Spirit of God, whom You sent to me in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

CONTENTED IN CHRIST

 

 

Philippians 4:10-11 NLT How I praise the Lord, that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me. Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. 

 

Jesus, is the only One who can make me content. I have learnt to be content day-by-day, no matter what comes my way. Jesus, has taught me how to be statisfied by teaching me to draw my power and strength from Him. I have learnt to rely upon God’s promises and Christ’s power to help me to be content. If I want more, I ask God to remove the desire I have and teach me how to be satisfied in every circumstance. He will supply all my needs, but in a way that He knows is best for me.

 

Prayer

 

Father, how grateful and thankful I am to You for teaching me how to rely and depend upon You. Thank You for showing me how to be content day-by-day, no matter what may come my way. I am learning through Jesus, how to be satisfied by Him teaching me to draw my power and strength from Him. I ask You to remove all the wrong desires which hinder my desires to be satisfied in You. I am assured You will supply all my needs, in a way that You know is best for me in the honour, praise and glory of Jesus Christ’s name. Amen

BREAKING DOWN STRONGHOLDS

 

 

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NLT We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

 

We need to fight with God’s weapons when we are faced with spiritual warfare, we need to depend upon the Holy Spirit of God, to equip and empower us with His supernatural power to be effective in our prayer life with God.  

God’s mighty weapons are available to us as we fight against the devil’s strongholds. We must choose whose methods to use – God’s or the world’s. We are assured that God’s mighty weapons – prayer, faith, hope, love, God’s Word, through the Holy Spirit – are powerful and effective. These weapons can breakdown the proud human arguments against God and the walls that Satan builds up to keep people from finding God, is broken when we pray in the almighty name of Jesus Christ our precious Lord in faith. 

 

Prayer

 

Holy Spirit, thank You for equipping and empowering me in Your supernatural power to break down strongholds that are against me. Thank You for teaching me to use the weapons – prayer, faith, hope, love, which is God’s Word, the Holy Spirit – are powerful and effective. These weapon can break down every proud human arguments agains God, and the walls Satan builds to keep people from finding God are broken in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

PRAYING EFFECTIVELY

 

Colossains 2:2 NLT I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ Himself.

 

The Holy Spirit of God, has taught me how to pray effectively. I pray God’s Word back to Him as He guides and leads me in prayer.

I pray for God’s people and I ask Him to encourage them and knit them together by strong ties of love. I want them to experience knowing Jesus Christ in a deep and meaningful way. For God’s secret plan, now at last is made known to us through Jesus Christ, Himself. In Him lie hidden all the mighty, untrapped treasures of wisdom and knowledge. As you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him, too, for each day’s problems and situations living in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow strong in the growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let our lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done for us.

Heavenly Father, I pray whoever reads this reading today, will be encouraged and blessed in abundance. Let these words unfold within their hearts. I praise and thank You for all Your people whom You have laid upon my heart to pray for each day. May You water the seeds deep within their hearts, minds, body, spirits and souls enabling and empowering them to grow deep into Your love in the precious name of Jesus Christ, I give You all the praise and thanksgiving forever and always. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS

 

 

Psalm 25:4-6 NLT Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in You.

 

I have trusted God, to show me the right path He wanted me to follow. Even when the path I followed seemed to have many trials and tribulations, God showed me I must never give up.  He is there to help me in the trials, and He was going to bring me through those trials as I trusted Him. This has given me confidence, strengthened my faith and shown me how a faithful and loving God He is and right up to this present date He has never let me down.

Prayer

 

Lord, show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Saviour, and You are my hope all day long. Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love, for they are from old. I am ever grateful and thankful to You O God, for all the wonderful things You have done for me in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord. PUT GOD FIRST

 

Proverbs 3:6 NLT Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

 

We must come to a place in our lives where we always put God first. We must acknowledge Him in everything we do. Praying it in the supernatural power the Holy Spirit of God, surrendering, submitting, and reliquishing our lives to God in the precious name of Jesus Christ is the best thing to do. We must learn to rely and depend upon the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God to enable us to do this. He will guide and direct our steps as we commit and commend the whole day to Him this is a wise decision to make. 

I get up in the morning, and one of the first things I do in enter into prayer and reliquish my whole life to God. He says He has a plan for my life and I trust His plans more than I trust my own plans. I then make a coffee and go to my faviourte place where I know God is waiting for me to come to Him. I want to give Him my full attention without having any distractions. I pray to Him, and read His Word. I know if I make God my top priority, then other things in my life wiil fall into their proper place. I delight myself in Him first and foremost.

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, I submit, surrender, relinquish, and yield my life to God in the name of Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I delight myself in You. I praise and bless You for teaching me to rely, depend, and lean upon You to bring me into Your perfect will. I place my love, trust, faith, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, knowing He will do what is right and best for me. I ask this prayer in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen

LOOKING TO GOD

 

 

Psalm 5:3 NLT Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.

 

Daily, I pray and ask God to open my spiritual eyes so I can see Him and to give me spiritual ears so I can hear Him. I do this by reading the Word of God. This is so important to me to begin my day with prayer, and reading God’s Word. This has strengthened me in my faith and gives me the confidence to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit of God. 

The Helper the Holy Spirit of God, comforts me and He has  taught me to understand the Scriptures. The unfolding of God’s Word, is essential for me to learn what God wants me to learn. He has certainty built up my faith upon the Rock and Foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ. My great expectations come from God who will answer my requests at His appointed time.

 

Prayer

 

Father, I trust You to encourage and enrich me in my faith in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank and praise You for the Helper the Holy Spirit of God, whom You sent to me and placed a seal of ownership upon me and my life. I thank You for keeping me on the straight path of righteousness and holiness and granting me discernment to know Your will. I cannot praise and thank You enough for everything You are doing for me and have done for me throughout the years. Thank You for drawing me closer and nearer to God, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

GENUINE FAITH

 

 

 

2 Timothy 1:5-7 NLT  I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.

 

Our Father in Heaven, has filled us with genuine faith, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, so that we can share our faith with others. He is the One who keeps us strong in our faith as we draw closer and nearer to Him. The more we see our prayers answered by Him the more we can see our faith deepen and grow with Him. Reading God’s Word, strengthens our faith as we stand upon the truth and promises His Word brings to our hearts and minds. It says in Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. This is what we all need to do.

 

Prayer

 

Holy Spirit, I ask You to fill my heart full of faith in the name of my precious Lord Jesus Christ. I ask for genuine faith so I am able to share my faith with others. Make my faith strong so that it does not waver in anything I do. I pray Your Truth and Promises will never fail me. Your Word is the Truth renew my mind in the mind of Jesus Christ, enabling and empowering me to follow You for the rest of my days until I meet You in eternity. I ask this prayer in Jesus Christ’s precious name. Amen 

FAITH HEALS YOU

 

 

Mark 5:34 NLT He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

 

When you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, no matter what you have to face during your day, you need not be afraid. God is completely in control. He knows what is ahead for us and the Holy Spirit of God, is there to help us. We do need discernment from the Holy Spirit, as it is crucial in our walk of faith. 

Prayer is the key to which we can overcome the trials we face. We must train our minds to quickly turn to God for the help we need. You do this by acknowledging God in all situations. We must be aware of unseen circumstances. We must reach out to God and boldly speak out in faith what we believe He will do.

 

Prayer

 

Jesus, my love, joy, faith, trust, is in You completley. No matter what my day may hold, I am trusting You to watch over and take care of my needs. I love You glorify You and magnify You. I am full of gratitude for everything You have done for me, especially when I am assured that You have answered the prayers I petitioned in Your precious and holy name in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

 

JESUS CALLING

 

 

Romans 8:31 NLT What shall I say about such wonderful thing as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

 

In my life my self-esteem was very low, and I never felt good enough. I always thought others were far better than me, my self-esteem was zero. When I received Jesus Christ into my life and His salvation, I knew my life would never be the same again.

When I decide to take a course of action that is in line with His will, nothing in heaven or earth can stop me. I have encountered many obstacles as I moved forward towards the goals God has for me, but He has helped me not to be discouraged – never to give up! With His help I know I can overcome any obstacle. I do not expect an easy path as I journey hand in hand with Him, but I do remember that He is my ever present Helper, He is Omnipotent, Omnicent, Omnipresemce, and I am aware of the past, present, and future I have with Him. I don’t have to be stressed any longer, as He knows the plans He has for my life, and all He wants from me is to trust Him in faith.

 

Prayer

 

Almighty God, I praise and thank You that my faith is steadily growing in You. I continue to trust in You. You have a plan for my life and nothing will stop Your plans coming to pass at Your appointed time. Thank You that You remove the obstacles standing in my path, You are enabling me to trust You and are showing me I must never give up no matter what my circumstances maybe. I thank You, and praise You; I exalt and glorify You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 

BE STRONG AND TAKE HEART

 

 

Psalm 31:23-24 NLT Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to Him, but He harshly punishes the arrogant. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!

 

We must ask the Holy Spirit to receive God’s glorious love in full measure. This will dramatically increase our love for Him. The world is full of dangers, so it is wise to hold tightly to His hand. Listen – through His Spirit and His Word – while He talks us through tough times. Pour out your heart to Him, remembering that He is our refuge and strength. As we stay in dialogue with Him, He helps us to handle whatever is before us. 

We must take care to live in Him, and let Him live in us. We cannot produce any fruit when we are severed from the Vine of God. Nor can we be fruitful apart from Him. 

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, I ask You to fill me with love in full measure in the name of Jesus Christ. The world is full of danger, so I tighty hold onto Your hand and I will listen to You through Your Holy Spirit. I will pour out my heart to You remembering You are my refuge and strength. As I stay in dialogue with You, You will help me to handle whatever is before me. I ask You to make me strong in my times of troubles and help me to be bold and courageous as I put my love, trust, and faith in You forever in the name of Jesus Name I come. Amen 

CONFIDENCE IN CHRIST

 

 

Isaiah 41:10 NLT Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.

 

God has shown me how He wants me to be confident in Him. I must depend upon His resources and not on my own resources. It's through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God which strengthens me and this enables me to cope. I need to get my own relationship right with God first and foremost. He is the only One who can give me the constant assurance I need that He is always with me. So, I do not need to be afraid. I need to seek His company through prayer and reading His Word. This helps me to understand how He wants me to grow. One thing for certain if I have a relationship with God, He will be my constant companion. In obedience to His will I will allow Him to do whatever He wants to do in your life.

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, You are teaching me to be confident in You and I will not be afraid. I am learning daily to lean upon You, and draw my strength and resources from You.  I ask You to keep me deep rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ. I know for certain He is my constant companion, and I will allow Him to do whatever He want's t to do in my life in the precious name of Jesus Christ. May my relationship with Him be built upon the Rock and Foundation of Jesus Christ. I commit and commend this prayer to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen 

MOVE FORWARD

 

Hebrews 6:1 NLT So let us stop over the basic treachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understandng. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

 

To move forward with God and become more mature in faith, we need a deep understanding of who Jesus Christ is? The Bible helps us to see we need to rely, depend, and lean upon the Holy Spirit of God. He reveals God’s character, nature, personality to us. When we are hurting or wanting to run away or even feel like hitting someone, the best thing we can do is call out to Jesus immediately, and begin to talk things through with Him. He is available at all times. He sits and waits for all of His children to come to Him. Nothing is too hard or difficult that He cannot solve. His love is always the same, it never alters or changes. He accepts and loves His children for who they are, not what someone else wants them to be. He does not want any of us to live on feelings and emotions. He wants us to live effectively for Him to glorify and honour Him and this is a choice we make. 

 

Prayer 

 

Gracious God, let me stop going over the same old ground again and again. Let me go on instead to other things and help my faith to become mature in my understanding of God's Word and become a strong Christian. I do not need to be foolish about trying to be saved by being good, or about the necessity of faith, I place my trust and faith in God completely in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen 

HOLY SPIRIT TEACH ME

 

1 Timothy 4:1 NLT Now the Holy Spirit tells clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

 

The Holy Spirit teaches us how to have confidence in Christ Jesus. He also states that nothing will harm or hurt believers without the Lord’s permission. He teaches those who believe in Jesus Christ, to trust Him, have confidence in Him, and to rely upon Him. Reading and meditating on Scripture builds up our faith. At all times we need to focus our eyes upon God and not upon the situations around us. However, we do need to ask for God’s wisdom, instructions, and guidance to help us to know how to walk in His ways. We most certainly need to search for the principles of God, which are written for us in the Bible.

 

Prayer

 

Holy Spirit, You teach me how to have the confidence and faith in Jesus Christ. You will not allow anything to hurt me as I stand upon Your Word. I trust in the Word of God. What has been written about me cannot be changed. I stand upon God’s Word and promises and take His promises deep into my heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. I pray my faith will be increased daily, as I continue to meditate upon God’s promises. I will constantly focus upon God and not on my own understanding, or circumstances. I pray I am filled full with God’s wisdom, instuctions, and guidance, to help me accomplish all He has planned for my life. I submit, surrender, relinquish and yeild everything in my life to the Holy Spirit of God, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

TRUST IN THE LORD

 

 

Proverbs 3:5 NLT Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depemd on your own understanding.

 

Loyalty and kindness are important character quailities. Both involves actions as well as attitudes. A loyal person acts responsibily. A kind person works for justice for others. Thoughts and words are not enough – our life reveals whether we are truly loyal and kind. Do your actions measure up to your attitudes?

 

Prayer

 

Father God, in the past You have told me to tell many a troubled soul to put their trust in You. I have encouraged those who are weak or failing, or lie crushed upon the ground or are tempted to despair. At times where trouble strikes, I have felt faint and broken.

I must remember to trust and have confidence in You. I believe in God through Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God; to take care for those who are good. I praise and thank You with all my heart You are a great and wonderful God who is worthy to be praised, adored and loved  forever in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen 

Disciplined By God

Proverbs 3:11-12 NLT My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline , and don’t be upset when He corrects you. For the Lord corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.

 

Discipline means “to teach and to train.” Discipline sounds negative to many people because some discipliniarians are not loving. God however is the source of all love. He doesn’t punish because He enjoys inflicting pain but because He is deeply concerned about our devleopment. He knows that in order to become morally strong and good, we must learn the difference between right and wrong. His loving disipline enables us to do that.

 

Prayer

 

Holy Spirit, please help me walk in submission and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Do not allow me to be undiciplined or be unruly, but help me to walk a godly and holy life with Jesus Christ. I ask You to set me free from everything that hinders Your plans for me. Only you are worthy to be praised, adorned, and loved, and I will not worship anyone other than You. I ask this prayer in Jesus’ precious and holy name.  Amen
