‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘Trust in God’

Reading: Jeremiah 17:7-8

“Our confidence is in Him.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, as a child of God I am learning to trust You more. Deep in my heart I know You are the only One I can trust completely. I put my confidence and trust in You, and I will be obedient to You. I know You love me unconditionally. Help me to acknowledge You in everything I do and never leave You out of anything I do. I receive the wisdom of God, to help me in difficult and uncertain times. I trust God to meet all my needs; my confidence and hope grows in Him. Holy Spirit, I ask You to plant me in the good seed and soil. Let my roots grow deep into the “Vine of God”. Let me abide in Christ, for without Him I can do nothing. In Him, I can do all things through Him who strengthen me. Water the fruit within me and produce a good and strong harvest where others will glorify and magnify my God and King. I bring all my thanksgiving, praise, and worship to Him. I can testify and witness the glory of God what He has done for me through my witness and testimony in the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

When we are troubled we must not trust in human beings. We cannot draw our strength from them but must put our trust in the Lord. He gives us abundant strength not only for our own needs but also for the needs of others. We must put our confidence and trust in obedience to Him. He loves us unconditionally, so acknowledging Him in everything we do is the honourable thing to do not leaving Him out of anything but always including Him in our decision making. God gives us His wisdom to help us in difficult and uncertain times. We need to abide in Jesus Christ, and without Him we are helpless and can do nothing.

Prayer

Gracious God, thank You so much for helping me not to be afraid anymore. I have set my mind to gain understanding and to humble myself before my God, my words were heard and You have come in response to my prayers.

You are teaching me wonderful prayers, and You show me the direct hindrance’s of Satan. You know when Satan will attack me, but I have great discernment God has given to me in the knowledge of the Holy Spirit of God. He inspires me to be alert and ready for the enemy’s attacks. The enemy he is a defeated foe. Jesus, I ask You to continue to show me the strategies and tactics of him. I ask this request through prayer in the precious name of Jesus Christ. God, You will not let me be intimated by him and I shall not suffer anything to come about that I am not able to bear in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

‘God Take Me into Oneness’

Are you seeking great things for yourself? Don’t do it! For though I will bring great evil upon all these people, I will protect you wherever you go, as your reward. (Jeremiah 45:5 TLB)

Prayer

Father, You are preparing me to be in total oneness with Yourself and Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. I am paying no more attention to what I call the great things of life? I am prepared to surrender totally to You and I will let go of everything You don’t want me to have. I realize that You are responsible for my whole life and I am so grateful to You for this, it is such a great relief for me to know this. I will no longer think about what You are going to do, and it is good to have the luxury of not asking any questions, but just accept the perfect will of God.

I am so delighted to have You in Your rightful place in my life and now able to live my life with You without any limitations in freedom to the glory, praise, adoration of Jesus Christ and walking in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, leaning upon, depending upon and relying upon Him for everything I need enabling me to honour my Heavenly Father. Amen.

My Greatest Friend

Reading: Proverbs 17:17

“A friend loves at all times.”

Prayer

Father, You are my greatest friend through Jesus Christ. You have shown such great and wonderful kindness to me; this is what a true friend does. You are loyal, faithful, and true, the kind of friend who I want to be on my side. You build me up when I am down. You comfort me when I need it. Most of all You are my constant companion who I know I can come to for anything and You will listen to me. I can talk all things through with You, and You will lead me to do what is right. You love me unconditionally, and no matter what I have done in my life, Your love has never changed but has sustained my life. Yes, I have made many mistakes, but I have always been willing for You to correct and discipline me. You believe in me, and so I am able to step out in faith and develop my true potential, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. You give me confidence to carry out Your sovereign will; this is all I can ask for in Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The greatest evidence of genuine friendship is loyalty being and loving “at all times” as well as being available to help in times of distress or personal struggles. Jesus Christ is our greatest friend. He came to rescue us and set us free from the world. He truly has set us free, and now we can be loyal and faithful to Him. He builds us up in our faith and confidence. He makes us bold and courageous, enabling us to step out and witness and testify everything and has shown us to others.

Prayer

Father God, You want me to be in a much closer relationship with You than simply receiving Your gifts – You want me to get to know You. Even some large thing I want is only incidental, it comes and it goes. But You never give me anything incidental.

Father, You have said to me: ”You will overthrow what You have built and uproot what You have planted, throughout the land.” So, do as You have said.

I seek to have Your perfect will for my life, and I desire to have that deep and meaningful relationship with Christ. This is the most important relationship that matters most to me. I do not want anything to stand in the way of my spiritual walk with You, not spiritual gifts, material things, financial matters, family, church or friends.

Jesus, You are number One in my life and nothing You do in my life is incidental. You have a plan for my life and I desire to honour You and Your kingdom and surrender completely to Your perfect will in obedience to the Holy Spirit of God.

Help me to walk in Your ways, and instruct my heart, guiding me through Your Holy Spirit at all times. I thank You, Lord, for all the help You have given to me it is really appreciated. Thank You that You are working out Your Ultimate perfection for me – “that I may be One with You just as You are One with the Father.

Lord, keep my life free from the love of this world, never leave me nor forsake me just as You have promised me. Let me always be content with what You have given to me, so I can say with confidence, “The Lord, is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” You have put Your seal of ownership upon me, through Your Holy Spirit, and He is in charge of me forever and always in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, to the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless, to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.

Lord, I ask You to help me climb the supreme climb up the mountain of God where I can fellowship on the mountain top with You, O God. The greatest lesson I have learnt in my faith with You, like Abraham, I am prepared to do anything for God. I am here to obey God, no matter what contrary belief of mine might be violated by my obedience to Christ. I am not devoted to my own convictions, but I will remain true to God.

He will lead me directly through every barrier and right into the inner chamber of the knowledge of Himself. I am always willing to come to the point of giving up my own convictions and traditional beliefs. I shall remain simply to be true to God, and God, You will purify my faith for honour, praise, and glory of Christ Jesus.

The Lord lives! Praise is to my Rock! Exalted be God my Source my Saviour! He is the God who avenges me who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies now and forever in Jesus Christ. Amen.

‘Do Not Worry about Your Life’

Reading: Matthew 6:25

“God promises to supply.”

Prayer

O precious God, again You are teaching me Your ways are the truth. When I make decisions about my life, help me to choose what is right according to the Scriptures.

I will not be anxious or troubled because my love and trust is in You. You have given me the ability to choose this, and it is God’s gift of free will to me. The same God who created my life I can trust Him with the details of my life. I will not worry about the present, nor will I worry about the future. My confidence and faith are in God, and He will determine His will for me. He is ever faithful to me, and He will never let me down. When things seem tough, He will show me the way out. Oh! How I love Him and worship Him with all my heart forever and always through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Jesus takes our life and shows us it must not be built on the foundations of worry, anxiety, and uncertainties. Once we accept His truth, He begins to change us slowly. God then begins His healing process by transforming us bit by bit. Worry can damage our health, consume our thoughts, be disruptive in our productivity, and be negative in the way we treat others. It can also reduce our ability to trust in God. Having so many worries, the ill effects can immobilize us. Knowing Jesus Christ personally shows us as long as He is in control of our lives, we need not be anxious or worried any longer, because He does take care of us forever.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me to preach the Word of God urgently at all times, whenever I get the chance, in season and out of season, when it is convenient and when it is not convenient. Let me only be inspired by You and not be obsessed with my own exceptional moments of inspiration. Help me to be led by the Holy Spirit of God, to correct and rebuke Your people when they need it, and help me to encourage them to do right, feeding them patiently with God’s Word and His careful instructions.

Do not let me be led by man, but let me be lead in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Do not let me be drawn into things that do no concern me and help me not to follow the traps of Satan. Help me always to be alert and ready at all times. Enable me to discern the strategies and tactics of Satan and the evils of man.

My times are in Your hands. I know what You have blessed me in is in the gift of God. Those gifts are His and not mine. Help me to see things in His will, ways, and attitudes and let me have the characteristics and nature of Christ, which will enable me to become more like Him. Help me to be inspired by God. I place myself into His tender and loving care in Jesus’ name. I ask You to be the One who will influence me and no-one else.

I relinquish and I yield myself under God’s controlling hand, dedicating and committing my life to the Gospel of Christ. My desire is to follow the teachings of God’s Word and not following anything else but His truth.

Christ Jesus abides in me and the Holy Spirit of God helps me to abide in Him. I ask the seeds that are sown in my life will be in the good seed and soil, the virgin soil and those seeds will be watered by the Holy Spirit of God which will bring a wonderful and great harvest to the honour, praise and glory of my heavenly Father in the precious and holy name of Christ Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

‘Work for God’s Kingdom’

And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you! However, the important thing is not the demons obey you, but that your names are registered as citizens of heaven.

Prayer

My beloved God, You have given me authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing on this earth shall injure me! However, the important thing is not the demons obey me, but that my name is registered as a citizen of heaven. My old sinful nature has been crucified with Christ; and I myself no longer live, but Christ God lives in me. And the real life I now live within this body is a result of my trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  My life now is hidden with Christ in God.

My life’s work is to discipline souls, not to save them only God can do that. Help me Lord, to train the younger generation to yield and surrender their lives completely under the controlling hand of God. Help me to be godly and righteous women, who can witness and testify that God’s amazing grace and favour is upon me and works within me through the inspiration and supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Help me to reproduce the same standards God has placed within me to others.

Do not let me be a dictator or manipulate or control anyone, instead let me be an active living disciple, controlled always by the Holy Spirit of God. I ask You to guide and lead me in all my ways as I lean upon, rely upon and depend upon Him alone to the honour, praise, and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

 ‘Let My Mind Be Focused upon You’

Reading: Jeremiah 15:16-21

“Your words are what sustain me.”

Prayer

O my beloved God, I desire to Study the Bible to shut everything else out and shut the door of my mind to be alone with You. Jesus, help me to concentrate on what You are teaching me. Holy Spirit, if I feel my mind is wondering help me to focus my eyes and mind on the Scriptures and check within my spirit to see if what I am being fed is the truth. Father, You want me to influence people but not let them influence me. They will fight against me like an attacking army, but You will make me secure as a fortified wall. They will not conqueror me; You will protect and deliver me. You, the Lord, have spoken! Yes, You will certainly keep me safe from these wicked men. You will rescue me from their cruel hands through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

God will close the door of our minds from being influenced in the wrong way. He wants us to take on board His thoughts and ways. He does not want us to listen to the world or take on board the thoughts of man/women. Reading God’s Word is a real need to absorb the truth. Through prayer we can reveal our deepest and inner thoughts to God and trust Him no matter what our circumstances may be. Satan will do all he can to stop us knowing the truth. We should be determined not to be deceived any longer by Satan nor should we be influenced by others but always follow God’s teachings by reading His Word, listening to the Holy Spirit of God brings joy and love to our hearts this enables us to delight in Him.

Prayer

Father God, I am Your co-worker and work in Your fields, You are the building that dwells within me and You are building my faith and trust upon the Rock and Foundation of Christ. May my eyes always be focused upon you and my concentration is centered upon You, through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Thank You that I am under Your control and mastery alone. There is no longer any responsibility on me for the work that You want me to do. The only responsibility that I have is to stay close to You and abide constantly in You. In all my situations I must always remember to acknowledge You, allowing nothing to hinder my co-operation with You.

My freedom has come after Jesus Christ, sanctified and purified me from all my sin, through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, and I must remember I have been freed for only one thing – to be absolutely devoted to my Co-Worker through Jesus Christ. I have no right to decide where I should be placed, or to have any preconceived ideas as to what God is preparing me to do. Father, You engineer everything in my life; and wherever You place me, my supreme goal is to pour out my life in total wholehearted devotion to You in that particular work and plans You have planned for my life. I will give all the glory to God my Father through Jesus Christ my precious Lord and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, I bring praise to God’s holy kingdom and Name. Amen.

‘I Will Go Send Me’

Tell me where You want me to go and I will go there. May every fibre of my being unite in reverence to Your name? With all my heart I will praise You. I will give glory to Your name forever, for You love me so much! You are constantly so kind! You have rescued me from deepest hell.

O God, proud and insolent men defy me; violent, godless men are trying to kill me. But You are merciful and gentle, Lord, slow in getting angry, full of constant loving-kindness and of truth; so look down in pity and grant strength to Your servant and save me. Send me a sign of Your favour. When those who hate me see it, they will lose face because You help and comfort me. (Psalm 86:11-17 TLB).

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I ask You to teach me Your ways and I shall walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, so that I may fear Your name and abide in it.

Tell me where You want me to go and I will go there. May every fibre of my being unite me in the reverence of Your name? With all of my heart I will praise and glorify You because You love me so much! You are constantly kind towards me and I know I do not deserve it! You have rescued me from the pits of the deepest hell and I can never thank and praise You enough for doing this for me.

For great is Your love for me that the arrogant who are attacking me, O God, a band of ruthless men seek my life – men without regard for You. But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness towards me. Turn to me and have mercy upon me, grant me Your strength to Your servant who loves Your name, I ask You to save my family and friends that they too may know the glory of Your Kingdom and Name. Give me a sign of Your goodness towards me, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame for You, O Lord, have helped and comforted me and I shall always be indebted to You.

Thank You that You hear all the prayer’s and petitions I bring before Your altar daily for the heart and core of Your people. Thank You for forgiving and rescuing me from the world, through Your precious Son Jesus Christ, and the world has now no more hold upon me. Nothing on this earth will thwart the plans You have created for my life, and I shall fulfill those purposes through my submission and obedience to Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen

‘Be Clear’

Reading: 1 Peter 1:13

“Prepare your minds for action.”

Prayer

Father, let me think clearly and help me exercise self-control. Help me live my life for Jesus and be mentally alert, disciplined, and focused upon God. I am really looking forward to meeting Christ upon His return. Do not let my mind be too busy nor wander all over the place. Let me be aware when the enemy is attacking me by protecting me through the Holy Spirit of God. Let me concentrate on what God wants me to do and follow His guidance and direction in my life. Let my mind be focused on the task at hand. Help me to comprehend all God wishes me to know and stick with it. Not turning to the right hand or to the left hand but completely focused upon the Lord. Let my ears be open so as to listen to Your word and let my eyes be open to see God’s word and do not ever allow me to tell God what I think He should do. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Our minds need to be clear at all times in Jesus Christ. We need Jesus Christ to motivate us to live for Him. We need to exercise self-control and be mentally alert, disciplined, and focused upon God. Our minds should never be busy. Busy means Being under Satan’s yoke, and Satan is good at getting our minds to wander away from God. We need to be aware on all occasions when the enemy is attacking our minds. We do this by relying on the Holy Spirit of God to show us. He alerts us. We must seek the face of God and ask Him what He wants us to do then focus on the task at hand.
