New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘I Know You are God’

“Stand silent! Know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation in the world!”
The Commander of the heavenly armies is here among us! He, the God of Jacob, has come to rescue us! (Psalm 46:10-11 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I shall be silent and still. I know You are God and there is no other God I desire to worship other than You. I will exalt and honour You among the nations in the world! The Lord Almighty is with me, He is the Commander of the heavenly armies and lives amongst His people.
The God of Jacob is my Fortress and I ask Him to show His mercy to me according to His unfailing love, according to His great compassion, please blot out my transgressions and wash away all my iniquity and cleansed me from all my sin. Do not do not let my sin rule over me. I know my transgressions and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You prove right when You speak and justified when You judge. Surely You desire truth in the inner parts, You teach me Wisdom in the innermost places. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I shall be clean, wash me, and I will become whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones You crushed in me rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant to me a willing spirit to sustain me for the honour, praise, and glory of Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘Filled with Power’

Then he said, “This is God’s message to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty – you will succeed because of My Spirit, though you few and weak.’ (Zechariah 4:6 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have baptized us into one Spirit and one body – let us drink of the same Spirit and be united in love for one another. Lord, I need You for I am weak and weary, I do need to put my hand into Your hand and take strength and courage from You. You, know the kind of opposition I will meet, so I ask You for Your divine wisdom, discernment, power and strength to meet all my needs in accordance with Your promises. Please fill me in the fullness of Your love, mercy and grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

I desire to maintain a deep and meaningful relationship with You. I want all of my communication with You to be real as if You were talking to me head-on. Thank You that I can wear Your yoke, mantle, characteristics, and have Your nature to abide in Your vine forever in Christ Jesus. Without You I can do nothing, nor would I wish too, but in Christ Jesus, I can and will do everything He calls me to do in submission and obedience to His perfect will through the Holy Spirit of God’s power that enables and empowers me to do all things for the glory, praise and honour of His precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Special Favour’

‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Reading: 2 Peter 3:18

“Grow in the grace of God.”

Prayer

O God, I shall grow in Your special favour and knowledge through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I know my spiritual growth is a process, and I need to lean upon, rely upon, and depend upon the Holy Spirit of God to carry out the counselling within me. Please O God; bring my house into order through the order of Jesus Christ. Thank You for the lessons I am learning; may they be assimilated in my life. You are engineering my circumstances with a definite result in mind. Part of Your plan is to bring me to the end of myself and to a point of desperation where I get so sick of myself at my inability to change; I throw my hands up and surrender completely to Your will. I want to do this now in Jesus Christ. Help me to grow deeper in God, knowing I can have a spirit-filled life in You full of love, joy, and peace. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

God has poured His divine grace and favour upon us in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We need His grace and favour to enhance our spiritual growth. It is a process we need to rely upon, lean upon, and depend upon through the Spirit of God who counsels us. When we ask Him to bring our houses into order, He will do this for us as He is a God of order and does not like unruliness. He teaches us deeper lessons, and they are being assimilated and adapted in our lives. He is the One who engineers our circumstances, and He has a definite result in mind. He brings us to the end of our worldly selves and our inability to change. We need to put or hands up and admit to Him we need to surrender completely to His will. We should only want what God wants for us. The most important lesson one can learn is to be obedient to Christ and ask Him to place us in the centre of His will.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘Being Ready’

“God called to him . .  . And he said, ‘Here I am’”. (Exodus 3:4)

Prayer

Father God, You have called out to me, and I have answered You by saying, ‘Here I am’. You have a great plan for my life and I desire to follow You in complete submission and obedience. Having readiness in my life means: ‘I must have a right relationship with God and having the knowledge to know where I am’.
I never want to tell you what to do within my life, nor do I ever want to be busy telling You where I would like to go. I want to be ready for You, O God, and be ready to receive the prize when Your summons comes.
I wait with great expectations that You will open the doors of opportunities for me when You know I am ready, or something sensational which You will send my way that I am ready when it does come, I shall pray and cry out to You, “Here I am”, send me.

Help me to sense and know when You, Jesus, are rising up and taking authority over some great task within my life, that I am also ready for duty. Let me be ready and prepared to do the smallest thing or the largest thing – it makes no difference. I have no choice in what I want to do, but whatever God’s plans maybe, I shall be there and ready. Father, You can put me wherever You want, in pleasant duties or menial ones, because my union with Christ Jesus is the same as Your union with Him. I want to be ready for a sudden surprise visit from God, being ready to obey Him whatever He calls me to do; being filled with the Holy Spirit's power, which comes from God, through the Holy Spirit’s of God of God's presence. He will enable and empower me to do whatever He calls me to do in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘God’s Grace’

There was a time when some of you were just like that but now your sins are washed away, and you are set apart for God; and He has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God have done for you. (1 Corinthians 6:11 TLB)

Prayer

Father, You, have washed, sanctified and justified me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of my God. You have transformed me by Your grace into the image of Him. You will use everything that has been dragging me down and use it for Your glory, kingdom and name. You are turning me from a loser into a winner through Jesus Christ, Your precious Son. You have lifted me up from the rubbish dump and You have given me a place of honour. You have chosen me to show me the past, so I can benefit from it.

Today, I choose to hide my past under the Blood of Christ, so nobody ever need know the kind of person I really was before Your grace transformed me. I praise and thank You for the glory You have won over my life forever and always through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional - ‘He Will Convict the World’

Reading: John 16:8-11

“The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin.”

Prayer

Almighty God, You will convict the world of sin and the guilt it is in. You will send Your power through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. He will show them the truth and show them their evil ways. You have set me free from the world through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. He is my personal Saviour and Lord, the Redeemer of my soul. Your light shines forth in me. You have taken all my darkness away. Now I can see the pure light within my life in regards to evil and sin. I turn away from evil forever and ask God to keep me on the road, which is narrow and straight, for the glory and praise of God, which leads to Christ Jesus. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Jesus Christ came to the world to convict man of sin and guilt in regard to righteousness and judgment. God calls everyone to repent, revealing the standard of God’s righteousness to anyone who believes, because Christ would no longer be physically present on earth. God demonstrates Christ’s judgment over Satan. He has sent His supernatural power through the Holy Spirit of God, and He helps and shows us the truth of our evil ways.

New Blog Post: ‘A New Life’

You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence. (Psalm 16:11 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy once again in Your presence, with the eternal pleasures at Your right hand. Therefore, my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure in You.
I have deliberately committed my will and ways to You in the name of Jesus Christ. It has been a transaction of my will, not my emotions. I surrender my will and ways to You regarding whatever I see, whether it is shallow or the deep profound places internally.
I have heard Your voice calling my name and I shall concentrate in maintaining my intimate relationship with You from now until eternity. So let us come now and reason together, Says the Lord, ’Though my sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.’

You, O God, have provided a way out for me in the removal of all my sins through the atonement death of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. He has washed, cleansed, and purified me from all my sins staining power. He has clothed me in His righteousness, holiness and godliness and all my sins are forgiven through the Cross of Jesus Christ and the atonement of His Shed Blood which was shed for me. I am so grateful and thankful to Jesus Christ, for everything He has done in my life since the day He met with me. I am truly committed to Him. I thank You for this new life You, the Lord my God have given to me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Lean Upon the Promiser’

Abraham trusted God, and when God told him to leave home and go far away to another land that He promised to give to Him. Abraham obeyed. Away he went, not even knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, by faith, You have called me to go to a place where afterwards I would receive mine inheritance. I have obeyed You just as Abraham did. It is enough for me to know that I go with You, O God. I have learnt not so much about the promises You have said to me, but much more, I have learnt to lean upon the Promiser. I do not look at the difficulties of my lot, but on the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, who had designed to appoint my course and would certainly vindicate Himself. O glorious faith! This is Thy work, these are Thy possibilities, contentment to sail with sealed orders, because of unwavering confidence in the wisdom of the Lord High Admiral; willing-hood to rise up, leaving all, and following Christ, because of the glad assurance that earth’s best cannot bear comparison with Heaven’s least.

Oh, let me set out cheerfully with my God on any venture of faith. I shall tear into small pieces any itinerary for the journey which my imagination may have drawn up. Nothing will fall out as I expect. My guide will keep to no beaten path. He will lead me by away such as I never dreamed my eyes would look upon. He knows no fear, and He expects me to fear nothing while He is with me. All glory, honour, praise and adoration and love belongs to Jesus Christ my precious Lord, and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, I adore my heavenly Father. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional - ‘Blessing Through Scriptures’

Reading: Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord blesses and keeps you.”
Prayer

Holy Spirit, I accept that You and You alone can teach me the Scriptures and show me how to interpret them. This is Your divine will and purpose for me. Holy Spirit, I know You don’t always respond immediately and understand that it will be done according to Your good pleasure. Holy Spirit, I seek Your guidance on how I should interpret the Scriptures. I ask You to show me by enlightening and enriching my heart to affirm my interpretation so You can shine forth Your light within me. I prayerfully will be patient waiting for You with the view to glorify God. May the Lord bless me and protect me. May the Lord’s smile cause His face to shine upon me. May He be gracious and show me His favour, grace, peace, and most of all His precious love. Therefore, I boldly come before the throne of grace and ask You to receive this prayer. This is the boldness I have in God’s presence; if it agrees with what He wants, He hears me. If I know He hears me every time I ask Him. I know I have what I have asked in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The Scriptures and prayer should be in the centre of our lives. They go hand in hand together and enable us to follow the teachings of Christ. God’s Word helps us to ask for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to help us know and do what He wants us to do. He counsels us and teaches us to listen to Him to follow Him, getting to know His voice calling our names. We need to have Scripture written upon our hearts and minds. This is what God has promised to do for His children. When things become difficult, knowing God’s Word helps us to draw from reservoir of God’s promises. It helps us to overcome the difficulties we face. We must ask God that we can retain His Word in our hearts and minds being grateful to Him for the gifts He has given to us.

New Blog Post: ‘Completely Obedient’

Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life. (2 Chronicles 15:17 NIV)

Prayer

Lord God, You know my heart is fully committed to serving You, Lord, if I am walking in disobedience, show me and I will repent and change my ways. What I don’t think is significant to me, but may well mean a great deal to You, O God, show me and nag at me until I am able to see what You are trying to tell me.

Do not lose Your patience with me, because You know in my heart I want to do and be obedient to You in Your perfect will. I admit I need Your help to be able to do this. I ask You to make all things clear to me and enable me and empower me in the fullness of the Spirit of God, enabling me to fulfil the calling You have placed upon my life for the honour, praise and glory of Your precious and holy name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘You Have Called Me’

“I the Lord have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will guard and support and support you, for I have given you to My people as the personal confirmation of My covenant with them. You shall also be a light to guide the nations unto Me. You will open the eyes of the blind and release those who sit in prison darkness and despair. I am the Lord! That is My name, and I will not give My glory to anyone else; I will not share my praise with carved idols. Everything I prophesied came true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.” (Isaiah 42: 6-9 TLB)

Prayer

O my precious Lord, You have called me in Your righteousness; You will take hold of my hand. You will guard and support me, and have made me to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open up the eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “You are the Lord; that is Your name. You will not give Your glory to another or Your praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things You declare; before they spring forth into being You announce them to me. “
Let me come beside You, Jesus, and take Your yoke and mantle, so that I can pull together with You. I thank You that I can feel the pressure of Your hand upon me. You have said, “To those who have no might You will increase their strength.” Thank You, Jesus, for increasing my strength. Come and take my emotionalism, and turn my complaining into hymns of praise and thanksgiving. Do not let me grieve Your Holy Spirit, for the joy of the Lord is my strength. Take and lift the veil from my eyes, that I may see everything through the eyes of Christ. Let the peace, light, and joy of God be in me as I proof that there is burdens as well.

God squeeze the grapes in my life and produce the wine You know I can produce. No power on earth or in hell can conqueror the Spirit of God who lives within me. He creates an inner invincibility within me for the honour and praise of Christ Jesus, my precious Lord. I commit and commend this prayer to You in the precious and peerless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional - ‘Walk In Wisdom’

Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:13-18

“Wisdom is better than strength.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I seek to walk in Your wisdom as it is so important to me. I want to reflect Your glory, and I need Your wisdom to achieve this. I need to learn more on how to listen to Your voice with You prompting and leading through the tugging of my heart. I desire for our relationship to be seen as one in Christ. As I receive Your Divine Wisdom I will be able to see Your hand working at every turn of my life. I want to please You Lord, and I want to grow in You. Without You, I can do nothing but with You I can do all things. I know You have made Your home within me. I don’t merely know more about You rather I want to truly know You deeper and more intimate way. Please help me to do this. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

We all need God’s wisdom to help us walk in His path. To live our lives for God’s glory we have to learn to learn how to listen to His still small voice, His prompting, and His leading by Him tugging our hearts. We learn to recognize He is guiding and leading us in the supernatural power of His Spirit to where He wants us to be. Having God’s divine wisdom helps us to see His hand working in every situation we find ourselves in. We can do nothing without Him, but in Him we will be able to achieve everything He wants us to carry out His tasks for the glory of His kingdom and name.

New Blog Post: ‘A Servant of the Highest God’

For instance, there was God’s promise to Abraham: God took an oath in His own name, since there was no one greater to swear by, that He would bless Abraham again and again, and give him a son and make him the father of a great nation of people. Then Abraham waited patiently until finally God gave him a son, Isaac, just as He promised. (Hebrews 6:13-15 TLB)

Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall. (Psalm 55:22 TLB)

Prayer

Lord God, I am Your servant and I will serve You and You alone. You have made a promise with me and I will not lose this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what. You have promised me that You will bless me again and again as You did with Abraham, and so I wait patiently for those promises to be poured out upon me and my family.

I cast all my burdens upon You, because You care for me and will carry them for me and will not permit the godly to slip or fall. I know You will take away that immense feeling of responsibility I’ve had, replacing it with an awareness and understanding of Yourself and Your presence. I have an intimate fellowship with Jesus Christ, so I shall not be defeated. I place all my burdens upon God because He cares for me. The Government is upon His shoulders. He is called Wonderful Counsellor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. I commit and commend my life to the ways and will of Christ forever and always in His precious and holy name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Becoming a Christian’

When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 TLB)
This is what God has prepared for us, and as a guarantee He has given us His Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 5:5 TLB)
Prayer
O my beloved God, You have made me into a brand new person on the inside. A new life has begun within me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. The old things have passed away so that new things can come forth. This is what You prepared for me, and as a guarantee You have given me Your Holy Spirit, as a deposit guaranteeing what shall come.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ Jesus, we are a new creation; the old nature has gone, and the new nature has come.
Now, You Lord, are Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is; I have the freedom. And I who with an unveiled face, reflect the Lord’s glory, I am being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
I will always thank God, because of His amazing grace and mercy He has given to me through Jesus Christ my Lord. In Him I have been enriched in every way – in all my speaking and in all my knowledge – because of my testimony about Jesus Christ, was confirmed in me. Therefore, I do not lack any spiritual gift as I eagerly wait for my Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

He will keep me strong to the end, so that I will be blameless on the day of my Lord Jesus Christ. God, who called me into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ my Lord, is faithful. Thank You so much for being my God. Amen.
