When we have to face
trials of any kind God provides us with the courage we need to meet the demands
put upon us. The way He does this is to encourage us to trust Him through the
Holy Spirit of God. We need to be rooted and grounded in the Scripture’s to enable
us to meditate on the Word of God this where we draw our strength from. We must
put our faith into action by trusting in God through Jesus Christ.
Being defeated is not a
variable option. God’s gives us the courage and power necessary to know He will
give us the supernatural inner strength to help us win the battles. When we go
into battle we must never entertain any thoughts of being defeated. God has
given us the power in Luke 10:19 NKJV says, “Behold, I give you the authority
to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.” We must recall the past victories God has
already given to us in His faithfulness this encourages to know through Jesus
Christ we can do all things. We must face the battle head-on and refuse or consider
being defeated. This is not an option for those who have an unshakable faith in
the Lord Jesus Christ. We must remember the times Jesus has been faithful to
us. When we go through fresh battles this is the time when we do need to seek
the face of God and expect Him to give us the help and strength we need once
again.
Having the
right attitudes is what God wants us to have. We need to realize we cannot win
the battle in our own strength. Knowing God is with us helps us to know we will
not suffer defeat. We must continually ask God to guide and lead us within the
battles and to give us the wisdom and discernment we need to overcome all
opposition. We must not listen to negativity or negative people but trust in God’s
Word and promises He has given to each one of His children that He will fight
our battles for us. In 1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV “Then all this assembly shall know that the
Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He
will give you into our hands.”
In 1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV “Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” Love that verse. I'm studying spiritual warfare now. Our battles are spiritual and must be fought with spiritual weapons; God then gets the glory!
