New Blog Post: "God’s Vision"

Many years ago God gave me a vision He wanted me to write a book. When He suggested this to me I thought God had gone mad. How on earth did He expect me to write a book when I was uneducated and did not have any qualifications to do this? God however had different ideas for me.
He made me realise He had created me for a specific purpose in mind. His plan was to use me to glorify Himself. He knew what I was capable of doing even though I did not. He wanted to build my faith and trust and teach me if I depended upon Jesus Christ I could do all things through Him who strengthened me.
So, I began to write the book in faith not knowing what subject I was going to write about. I trusted God to guide and lead me with my writing. I began daily in prayer and brought my requests and petitions before God acknowledging that I needed Him and could not do these writings without Him. He increased my faith equipping me and empowering me with His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, insight and revelation through the Holy Spirit of God. I learnt how to lean upon His grace, strength and mercy believing He would help me to write this book the way He wanted it done. The Lord gave me confirmation through the Scripture:

Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV

Then the Lord answered me and said; “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. This was all I needed to get on with the writing the book being obedient to God was very important to me.
Gradually bit by bit things began to unfold within my heart. I had called the book numerous names but within the last six months of writing the book I found I had changed the whole lay-out completely. When I became a Christian prayer has always been a key factor in my relationship with God. I loved praying, reading God’s Word and writing prayers to God which I prayed back to Him. Through all my trials and difficulties, keeping prayer journals reminded me of God’s faithfulness towards me this built up my faith. The desire within my heart was always to help others as God had helped me. So putting my prayers and experience on paper helped me to see this was God’s purpose for me to write “A House Of Prayer” – Daily Devotional which was published on 21st November 2012 this is when God’s Word came to pass and His glory was seen.

  2. i strongly believe the Lord uses us in the areas in our life that we consider to be our weakest. because if we wee already good at doing it how could He shine thru it? His amazing marvels would mean little to nothing to so many if we got to do the things were good and strong in/at. im so glad to hear that u allowed God o work thru u and write a book. Praise God for His strength to do all things thru Him.
