New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Stand Silent’

Stand silent! Know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation in the world!”
(Psalm 46:10 TLB)

                                                                        Prayer

Oh! My precious God, I shall stand silent! I know that You are God! I will honour You and will stop wrestling with my troubles or worrying about my circumstances – the Lord Almighty is greater than all of them. I shall calm my soul and I shall focus on Your astounding wisdom, ability, and timing. I know Your faithfulness and I am not the only one who has struggled with trials – the saints of old – many of these great men and women of God faced the same fears and they overcame their fears by trusting in You and I will do the same.
I remember what You have said in Exodus 14:13-14 TLB: “Don’t be afraid. Just stand where you are and watch, and you will see the wonderful way the Lord will rescue you today. The Egyptians you are looking at – you will never see them again. The Lord will fight for you, and you won’t need to lift a finger! This is the same for me.
Father, You want to surround me with Your peace and demonstrate Your power, but You will only do this if I rest in Your care and I release my troubles into Your omnipotent hand. So, today I shall stop striving and doing things in my own will and strength. I will release my striving, and troubles into Your omnipotent hand. I will let the full meaning of Your Word impact to the core of my heart.  You are God and there is no other God as glorious as You and You love me and help me. I have no more reason to fear all I need to do is set my heart upon You in Christ Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘My Faith Is In God‘

You can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him. (Hebrews 11:6 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

Father,  whenever I pray to You, I always begin by giving thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has heard how much I trust Him, and how much I love Him and His people. I come before You with praise, thanksgiving, adoration and love. I know I can never please God without faith. I depend upon the Holy Spirit of God, to increase my faith so I can truly depend upon Him. I believe that there is a God and that You will reward those who sincerely look for Him.
I know that faith pleased God and through this I am willing to face the challenges He sends my way, and I leap forward and hold out my faith banner into uncharted arenas with no sure outcome in sight, I turn to the Angels and exclaim, “See there? See the faith I have in My beloved?” I can cheer with the Angels! I can hold up my arms in the bales of prayers that is fired within me, and wait with patience and see the Lord Jesus answer me.
This is what I have asked God for me: that I will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love, and that I will have the rich experience of knowing Christ with really certainty and clear understanding. For God’s secret plan, now at last made known, is Christ Himself. In Him lie hidden all the mighty, untapped treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And now just as I have trusted Christ to save me, I shall trust Him, too, for each day’s problems; and I shall live in vital union with Him. Let my roots grow down into Him and draw my nourishment from Him. Let me see that I am growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth I was taught through the Holy Spirit of God. Let my life overflow with joy and thanksgiving for everything He has done for me now and forever more. I give Him all the praise and thanksgiving in His peerless and precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘My Courage Is In God’

Take courage if you are depending on the Lord. (Psalm 31:24 TLB)

                                                                       Prayer

My precious God, I take my courage from You because I depend upon You. No matter what my circumstances maybe, I know You are at work within me. What, then, shall I say in response to these things? If God is for me, who can be against me? I know these things are true by believing, not by seeing. For You say, ‘Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.’ When I go through deep waters and great trouble, You will be with me. When I go through rivers of difficulty, I will not drown! When I walk through the fire of oppression, I will not be burned up – the flames will not consume me.
Today, I shall drop the cords of anxiety from around my neck. For You are helping me and guiding and protecting everything that concerns me. This walk I have I have chosen to walk this walk with You. It  may not be easy at all times, but I want to follow in the path of righteousness through  Jesus Christ my precious Lord;  and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I may have to confront times of confusion, and even despair. I know that it is not always smooth going, but it will be the highest walk on earth. I shall hold up my head and pull back my shoulders, walk with my spine straight, and with dignity that befits a soul which is beautiful in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘What Is Faith‘

But this precious treasure – this light and power that now shine within us – is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from God and is not our own. (2 Corinthians 4:7 TLB)

                                                                       Prayer

O my precious God, You are the treasure within my heart – this light and power that now shines within me – is held in a perishable container, that is, in my weak body. Everyone can see that the glorious power within me must be from God and it is not my own.
Father, because of my little faith, I ask You to increase it and I ask for the faith as small as a tiny mustard seed, so I can say to this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would go far away. Nothing would be impossible. But this kind of demon won’t leave unless I have prayed and gone without food.
I must move forward, always forward. I must never look back. If I think that my present service for You is hard, let me remember; when I am weak You make me strong. My faith trusts You always to carry out Your promises to me. Lord, giving thanks to You for this is the right thing for me to do, but it is my duty to God because of the really wonderful way He has grown my faith, to love one another as He has loved me. And my faith has made me good in God’s sight, and I must live by faith, trusting Him in everything I do.
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something I want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what I hope for is waiting for me, even though I cannot see it up ahead. I know I can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him.
My faith is daring to question You – confident You’ll answer me with Your love and never condescendingly. My faith in Christ will always lead me into something good. My faith has broken through the light of Christ and through the long black alleyways of the impossible. My faith is the triumphant hero of every scrimmage, every chaotic tug-of-war, and every battle I have confronted. I know Jesus Christ has won all my battles for me always and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘A New Songs of Praise’

He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him.
(Psalm 40:3 TLB)

                                                                        Prayer

O my precious God, In this act we will see what real love is: it is not our love for God but His love for us when He sent His Son to satisfy God’s anger against all who sinned against Him. Dear friends, since God loved us as much as that, we surely ought to love each other too. For though we have never yet seen God, when we love each other God lives in us, and His love within us grows ever stronger. We will live under the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods. Our old sin-loving nature was buried with Him by baptism when He died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought Him back to life again, we were given His wonderful new life to enjoy.
When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun within and through their relationship with Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit of God; we have been given a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He has done for us, and they shall stand in awe before Him and put their trust in Him.
Don’t be hard on yourselves because you listen to the false voices around you. Don’t put yourselves down. Listen for His voice because He is depositing a new song in you. He will bring us to the pinnacle of our destinies where we will shine for years to come, and the dark, despairing world we left behind, will have no more holds upon us because we abandoned it’s influences, and it no longer has it claws in our flesh. We will walk in freedom singing new songs – of praise and thanksgiving to God who died for us and transformed us with Jesus Christ our precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Power and Success Comes from God’

Our only power and success comes from God. (2 Corinthians 3:5 TLB)
And it is He who will supply all your needs from His riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us. (Philippians 4:19 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

O my precious God, my only power and success comes from You, the Almighty God. And it is  You who will supply all my needs from Your riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for me. How I praise and thank You for everything You have done for me through Jesus, Your precious Son. I belong to Jesus Christ, and Christ is God’s.
So, let me draw near to Your heart and enter into Your presence to see You for who You are. Help me to see how You created me to reflect on My Father and to be pleasing to Him. I do believe that He is my divine rewarder, and He loves to reward me. Right now I exchange my tiresome introspections to ruminate on the meaning of true hope.
Father, You love all who love You and those who search for You shall surely find You. Do not let me be proud. Don’t allow me to follow the wise men, but let me always follow the Holy Spirit of God. God is able to make it up to me by giving me everything I need but plenty left over to give joyfully to others.
What a glorious Lord I have! He daily bears my burdens and He has given me the joy of His salvation and I am ever grateful and thankful to Him for everything He has done for me in Christ Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘God Instructs My Tongue ‘

The Lord God has given me His words of wisdom so that I may know what I should say to all these weary one. Morning by morning He wakes me and opens my understanding to His will. (Isaiah 50:4 TLB)

                                                                     Prayer

O Lord God, You have given me Your words of wisdom so that I may know what I should say to all Your weary people. Morning by morning You waken my ears to listen as one being taught. You help me to understand Your will through the Holy Spirit of God in the name of Christ Jesus. How grateful and precious are Your Words to me.
For Your Word says, “From a wise mind comes careful and persuasive speech. Kind words are like honey – enjoyable and healthful. A wise man’s words express deep streams of thought. Your compassion never ends. It is only the Lord’s mercies that have kept us from complete destruction. Great is Your faithfulness; Your loving – kindness begins afresh each day.”
Daily, You feed me from Your fountain of wisdom, so I can trust myself to speak Your words to the heart and core of Your people in season. These words I speak shall be as a  gushing stream sparkling with fresh, pure and life-giving authority.
I know I bring my Father much pleasure when I speak the glistening expressions of His mind to those who need to hear it. I shall trust His words, He puts within my mouth. He has given me a tongue of a skilled writer which shall be used to glorify, magnify and exalt the great name of Jesus now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Grow In Faith’

I would have you learn this great fact: that a life of doing right is the wisest life there is. (Proverbs 4:11 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

Heavenly Father, I have to learn this great fact: that a life of doing right is the wisest life there is. You will direct me in the way of wisdom; You have led me in upright paths.
I am so thankful and grateful to God, for giving me this great relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ; which is more than simply having my sins forgiven.
In order for my faith go grow; I am willing for the Father to speak directly to my heart and direct me through my faith – stretching situations. I can count on the Lord to do whatever He desires to do in my life for the purpose of increasing my intimacy with Him. So, whatever trials I have to face, or the decisions I have to make; I will depend upon God’s strength and wisdom which go far beyond my own, and will seek Him in prayer and through the Word of God.
I will pay attention to the promptings of the Holy Spirit of God, and shall be confident that He will work within me as I obey Him in an awesome way. I will acknowledge God in everything I do and whatever my situations maybe, I shall trust God to guide and lead me in His perfect will in the glory of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Wisdom and Insight ‘

They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper. Friendship with God is reserved for those who reverence Him. With them alone He shares the secrets of His promises.

                                                                      Prayer

Heavenly Father, I trust You to give me wisdom and insight in all that is before me today. I will not rely upon my own understanding, in all my ways I shall acknowledge Him. He will stop me from losing my footing and slip and slide this way and that way! I shall not choose a dizzy path. I am set on the path of favour and security. I shall stand tall and see how You cause me to flourish like a tree planted by streams of living water, and observe with wisdom how everything I do will prosper through Jesus Christ my Lord. He will share His secrets with me as He has said and promised through the Holy Spirit of God.  Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Be Encouraged By God’

Speak to each other about these things every day while there is still time so that none of you will become hardened against God, being blinded by the glamour of sin. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as we did when we first became Christians, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. (Hebrews 3:13-14 TLB)

                                                                     Prayer

O my precious God, You will bless good men You condemn the wicked for the things that they do. I will surrender to Your will and ways and I will gain respect from You by meditating upon Your Word, I do this daily. I am pleasing to You when I  wear the truth around my neck and Your laws, mercy, and kindness are written upon the tablet of my  heart, through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. You have shown me Your favour which comes from Your throne. I continue to trust You in all of my decisions, and choose not to compromise my faith in Jesus Christ, through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God;  He has shown me what Your true and perfect will is.
You are urging me to share my encouragement in my spiritual journey with other women. You  will lead me to this ’group of women’, which will provide me with personal care and interest. We will pray for one another and stimulate one another to an greater love and greater works for the praise and glory of Jesus Christ our precious Lord. You have great and awesome things awaiting me. You want me to be a woman who pleases God in all things. You say, “Speak to each other about these things every day while there is still time so that none of you will become hardened against God, being blinded by the glamour of sin. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as we did when we first became Christians, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” (Hebrews 3:13-14 TLB) So, today let me be an encourager to the women You’ve place in my life to the glory and praise of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Wisdom Comes From God’

The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace – loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere. (James 3:17 TLB)

                                                                     Prayer

O my precious God, I ask You for Your wisdom that comes from heaven. Your wisdom is first all pure and full of quiet gentleness. It is full of peace – loving and courteous. It will allow discussions and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and it is sincere. I do not want human wisdom because this will mislead me. I choose to receive the wisdom that comes from above, and then I will be able to see how You create a new wisdom vocabulary within me that will bring forth life.
Instead, God has deliberately chosen to use ideas the world considers foolish and of little worth in order to shame those people considered by the world as wise and great. From a wise mind comes careful and persuasive speech. Kind words are like honey – enjoyable and healthful. He has chosen a plan despised by the world, counted as nothing at all, and used it to bring down to nothing those the world considers great, so that no one anywhere can ever brag in the presence of God. For it is from God alone that you have your life through Jesus Christ. He showed us God’s plan of salvation; He was the One who made us acceptable to God; He made us pure and holy and gave Himself to purchase our salvation. If anyone is going to boast, let him boast only of what the Lord has done.
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you all of His blessings, and great peace of heart and mind. I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts He has given to you, now that you belong to Jesus Christ. He enriches your whole lives. He has helped you to speak out for Him and has given you a full understanding of the truth; what He told you Christ could do for you has happened! Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing His will. All the honour, praise, and glory are God’s alone through Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Rock of Safety’

Lord, You are my shield, my glory, and my only hope. You alone can lift my head, now bowed in shame. For wherever I am, though far away at the ends of the earth, I will cry to You for help. When my heart is faint and overwhelmed, lead me to the mighty towering Rock of safety. (Psalm 3:3, 61:2TLB)

                                                                          Prayer

O my precious God, thank You for being my shield, my glory, and my only hope. You alone are the lifter of my head. For wherever I am, though far away at the ends of the earth, I will cry to You for help. When my heart is faint and overwhelmed, I shall call to You to lead me to the mighty towering Rock of safety. You will shield me with Your wings! They will shelter me. Your faithful promises are my armour. Because I love You, You will rescue me; You will make me great because I trust in Your name. When I call upon You, You will answer me;  You will be with me in trouble and rescue me and honour me. My days of troubles are ended, and You are restoring and rejuvenating my beautiful heart. I will not accept faulty thinking, telling myself I am worn out, tired, pooped, and I just don’t care anymore. I will never be tired of doing right. The truth is I do care about the heart and core of Your people.
I will allow You to renew and revitalise my spirit, soul, and body because You have given me a dream of great things ahead for my life. For You know the plans You have made for my life. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope.
May the God of peace Himself make me entirely pure and devoted to God; and may my spirit and soul and body be kept strong and blameless until the day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes back again. I praise and thank You Lord, for everything You are doing for me now and forever more in through Jesus Christ. I commit and commend this prayer to You in His glorious and precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Gladness and Celebration’

So ever since we first heard about you we have kept on praying and asking God to help you understand what He wants you to do; asking Him to make you wise about spiritual things. (Colossians 1:9 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

O my precious God, ever since we first heard about Your people I have kept on praying for them and asking You, O God, to help them to understand what You want them to do. I ask You to make them wise about spiritual things; and I ask that they will live always pleasing to God and to the Lord and honour Him, so that they will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time they are learning to know You better and better.
I continue praying, too, that they will be filled with Your mighty, glorious strength so that they can keep going no matter what happens – always being full of joy in the Lord, and always being thankful to the Father who has made them fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the Kingdom of Light. For You have rescued them out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought them into the Kingdom of Your precious Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today, let Your people be in a place of glorious gladness and celebration in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Continually, thanking God, for delivering us from gloomy introspection. For He has taken us out of the control of the dominion of darkness, and He has transferred us into His Kingdom into our Father’s perfect and marvellous love. How grateful and thankful we are to God our Father, His precious Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God; we bow before Him with praise, thanksgiving, adoration, and love for all He has done for us now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House And Meet With Him In Prayer’ – ‘Peace of Mind’

"I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27 TLB)

                                                                         Prayer

Precious God, You have left me with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And that peace isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So, I don’t need to be troubled or be afraid. Thank You for being at work within me, You are helping me to obey You, and helping me to do what
You want.
I live within the shadow of the Almighty God, He is my shelter and He is above all gods. This I do declare, that You alone are my refuge, my place of safety; You are my God, and I am trusting You. Your love for me is from everlasting to everlasting, and Your love for me is perfect.
I may be tempted to think that You’ve afflicted me, but You have rescued me from every trap and You have protected me from the fatal plague. You will always be a shield to me and have sheltered me with Your wings. You have always been at work within me and You are bringing me to the place where You shelter me with Your promises, they  are my armour.
Now, I don’t need to be afraid of the dark anymore, nor fear the dangers of the day; nor dread the plagues of darkness, nor disasters in the morning. You have called me to walk in faith in Christ Jesus, and this requires me to have a living relationship with Him every minute of every day no matter what the circumstances of my life maybe. You will always be there for me when I am hurting, heart-broken, You will be there to comfort me and to pick up the pieces where no-one else can. I worship, praise adore You forever and always through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.  Amen.
