New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Pain Of Rejection’

And some who are most gifted in the things of God will stumble in those days and fall, but this will only refine and cleanse them and make them pure until the final end of all their trials, at God’s appointed time. (Daniel 11:35 TLB)

                                                                    Prayer

O my precious God, we are gifted in the things of God, we will stumble and fall; but this will refine and cleanse us and make us pure until the final trials end. We are hunted down, but God never abandon’s us. When we get knocked down, then we get up again and keep on going. These bodies of ours are constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear to all that it is only the living Christ within us who keeps us safe.
Jesus, understands the pain of rejection. He came to the world to bless it; but was rejected, beaten and murdered. He came to show the world love and a better way to live only to be ostracised for the love He wanted to give. His own people didn’t want Him, they tossed Him out; and then they crucified Him.
Jesus, You have shown us that when we suffer and are rejected, we are partakers in sharing Your sufferings; and if we suffer with You we will reign with You. We should not think it odd that we are rejected. As servants of God we are not greater than our Lord. We possess a treasure house of blessings with our names upon it. These blessings, lovingly selected by Christ; have our names upon them which will make up for our grief. Let us identify with Jesus Christ and be strong. We share a rare and beautiful intimacy with Him. He has taken all our disappointment, anguish, and grief on His body on the cross. Rejection and fear has lost its power over us forever and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.
