New Blog Post: "Sinful Nature"

Galatians 5:24-25 NIV Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Those who believe and belong to the Lord Jesus Christ should crucify their sinful nature with all its passions and desires asking God to set us free in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will always come across temptations daily within our lives but it is how you deal with those temptations that matter most. It is the Holy Spirit of God who enables us to overcome all temptations and He will not allow us to get away with sin. He will convict us of sin and make us feel so uncomfortable within our hearts and spirits until we confess our sins before Him. He does not want any of His children to constantly live their lives in sin nor does He want any of His children to be unruly. He wants His children to be disciplined in our nature and characteristics to enable us to become more like the Lord Jesus Christ. He wants us to make a choice whether we will allow Him to have complete control of our lives or we will do things in our own will and strength He cannot make the decision for us we must make the decision by ourselves.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 ESV
I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in a twinkle of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
Desiring to let God have control of our lives completely, we will not be bondage to sins any longer. Through prayer and with God’s help, we are able to live our lives for Him.
