New Blog Post: "Made Alive in Christ"

Ephesians 2:4 NIV Because of His great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.

I praise and thank God for His amazing grace and mercy which saved me and made me alive in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am so grateful He has forgiven me all my transgressions and iniquities and does not hold anything against me. He has forgiven me all of my sins. It is so good to know I have been raised up with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenly realms in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to me through Jesus Christ. I know it was by grace I was saved, through faith – and this did not come from me, it is the gift from God – not by my works, so that I cannot boast or take any credit for my salvation it came to me by God’s grace.
God has reconciled me to Himself. I was previously hostile towards the Lord Jesus Christ and was ignorant in my knowledge of Him. Now I know the truth that He is the Son of God my life has changed radically. More and more I wanted God to change me into the image of His Son so I could be more like Him and less like me.
God had created me for a specific purpose. He has planned something uniquely that only I could do for Him. As I search for His purposes daily He builds my faith, love and trust in Him. I believe everything God has told me He will do. He will fulfill all the promises He has made with me bringing glory to His name. I do not want to do things in my own will or strength I depend and lean upon God’s grace for everything I need.
I relinquish and abandon myself to God in complete surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have no right to tell God what He can and cannot do in my life so I will listen to Him and follow Him in obedience.
I learn something new each day from God this helps my faith grow. God has done a great transition in my life. In a twinkle of an eye He has transformed me into a new creation.
Philippians 1:21 ESV For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. I have everything I need in Jesus Christ and I am content with my life in Him.

New Blog Post: "We Need Wisdom"

Proverbs 4:10-15 NIV Listen, My son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.

We all need God’s Wisdom to keep us on the path of His commandments. When we do not ask for wisdom from God we may find ourselves in trouble. God wants to guide and lead us in the way of wisdom and lead us along straight paths. We have to make our own choices in life and decide whether we are we going to listen to Him and obey Him.
From my own personal experience when I have stepped out of God’s will I have had to take the consequences of being disobedient to Him? God has trained me in how to be obedient through His Holy Spirit. Reading God’s Word and praying has been the key factor in my life with God.
Through reading God’s Word I could see how Jesus behaved with His Father; I also wanted to copy His example and do the same things with the Father as He had done. Jesus was never disobedient and now I did not want to be disobedient either.

We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10 NIV).

This is the example the Father left for us to follow. We must take on board the truth of what the Word of God says. We must compare and test everything to the Scriptures to make sure they are from God and not from man. God knows His children’s hearts and so therefore He knows the truth of what and who we are and what we shall become.
From the moment I made the commitment to God and was Born Again in His Son I have not looked back. God has been so loving and faithful to me and showed me when He says He will do something in my life He has always done it. He increased my faith as He worked things out. Sometimes I have had to wait for Him to do what He has said and promised me but whilst I have been waiting for Him to act it taught me how to be patient and walk in obedience regardless of what was going on all around me. God does not always act immediately. He uses trials in our lives to teach us how to trust Him. I have had to go through many trials and I do not regret any one of those trials. God allowed those trials to teach me great lessons to build my faith and trust in Him. I can honestly say I am so grateful to God. I continue to praise and thank Him worshipping and loving Him because I know He only will do what is right and best for me.

New Blog Post: "Exalt the Lord our God"

Psalm 145:1-5 NIV I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no-one can fathom. One generation will commend Your works to another; they will tell of Your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendour of Your majesty, and I will meditate on Your wonderful works.

I can really applaud God for His great works He has done in my life. He has delivered me from all evil forces which had hold and a grip upon my life. He has broken down all the forces of evil and has freed me I am so grateful and thankful to Him for setting me free. I did not realise the extent of evil on this earth. I was ignorant about Satan and his evil forces. I did not realise he had me in his parlour trying to stop me from having a relationship with God but thankfully God won the battle for me over him.

1 Samuel 17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give all of you into our hands.

Having been in the darkness (evil) you are made aware of the strategies and tactics the devil uses in people’s lives. Now I can see all the evil I had touched when I confessed my sins before God and Jesus brought me into the Light with Him. The darkness could not rule over me anymore. I had made my peace with God and was determined I would never touch any kind of evil again.
When I was baptized in the assemblies of God’s people I promised God through my testimony I would always speak out about evil to others. I do not want others to be deceived by the devil as the devil had deceived me. I would speak the truth then leave it with them whether they wanted to believe what I told them was true or not. The choice is there’s to make it is not mine it is up to the individual person to choose what they wanted to do. As long as I made them aware of the evil and was obedient to God I took my hands off the situation and left them in the hands of God. I had done what God had asked of me.
You have to have the experiences before you are able to talk about the experiences you have had in life. If you have not experienced these things how will you know if they are true? It is like having cancer if you have not had the disease how are you able to talk about it to others. I have experienced first-hand what it is like to be in the devil’s parlour and I am telling you it is not a very nice place to be. I would not recommend it to anyone. Thankfully Jesus came and rescued me and now I am free from all the darkness on the earth. The Blood of Christ has set me free. I give all the honour, glory, praise and adoration to God our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I cannot thank Him enough for all of His mercy, grace, love and faithfulness He has shown towards me.

New Blog Post: "Affliction"

Psalm 107:41 NIV He lifted the needy out of their affliction.

I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:1-4 NIV).
When we are burden and are troubled what do we do? We have a heavenly Father who is waiting for us to come to Him wanting us to have a relationship with Him through the Lord Jesus Christ His Son. He is the One who will help us in all our struggles. It is good to know we are not alone we have a great God in Him. We can go straight to the Lord Jesus Christ who is waiting to help us. He understands fully what it is like in the world and the troubles and struggles we have to overcome. He has the knowledge and wisdom to put those things right which have been wrong in our lives. He is the only One who we can depend upon to do this we certainly are unable to put anything right only God can. We need to admit to ourselves we need His help.
We must not allow pride, conceit or arrogance to get in the way. We need our hearts to be humble, meek and lowly and not allow smugness or self-righteousness to get in the way of our walk with God. Admitting we need God’s help is what He wants to hear. He wants us to be totally reliant upon Him and not on ourselves. When we acknowledge God, He is ready to give us wisdom, guidance and knowledge to deal with our circumstances and situations. He wants us to ask for help which comes from His Spirit. We should be grateful and thankful to God worshiping and praising Him for all the goodness He gives to us through His Spirit. Where would we be without Him?  He is our strength our ever present help in all our times of troubles. We turn over all our complaints to Him this helps us come to our senses. Putting our love and faith in Jesus Christ is the sensible thing to do He really does care what happens to each one of His children.

New Blog Post: "God is Not Unjust"

Hebrews 6:10 NIV God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.

Over the years the Lord has shown me He is not unjust. He will never forget the work and the love we have shown towards His people. He wants us to continue to help them the best way we can. We must not be unreasonable and remember how Jesus handled things when He was on the earth we should follow His example. We must pray and ask for God’s Wisdom, Understanding, Insight and Discernment to show us how He wants us to handle things.
When we find ourselves in difficult situations the best thing we can do is put a quick prayer up to God asking Him for the help we need through the Holy Spirit of God, He will give us all the help we need to help us overcome every situation we find ourselves in. We all need to be in the Holy Spirit school of teaching. Each one of God’s children needs to go through this school to learn the true nature and characteristics of Jesus Christ. We do this by exercising trust and faith in all our difficulties believing God will sort it out when He is ready to do so. He is always faithful to deliver us through whatever difficulties we may face He just wants our trust. We never go into battle without God preparing us first. He has to educate us how to handle things in the battle this is done through reading God's Word and prayer. He gives us spiritual wisdom and understanding and this gives us insight into the path God prepares individually for each one of us. We need to be educated in God’s ways and not in our own ways. Reading God’s Word teaches us how we must lean upon, rely upon and depend upon the Holy Spirit of God to do this. He is our Helper and Comforter the Counselor whom God sent to be with us forever. He is the Spirit of Truth the world cannot see Him nor knows Him. But we know Him, for He lives within us.
