LOOKING TO GOD

 

 

Psalm 5:3 NLT Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.

 

Daily, I pray and ask God to open my spiritual eyes so I can see Him and to give me spiritual ears so I can hear Him. I do this by reading the Word of God. This is so important to me to begin my day with prayer, and reading God’s Word. This has strengthened me in my faith and gives me the confidence to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit of God. 

The Helper the Holy Spirit of God, comforts me and He has  taught me to understand the Scriptures. The unfolding of God’s Word, is essential for me to learn what God wants me to learn. He has certainty built up my faith upon the Rock and Foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ. My great expectations come from God who will answer my requests at His appointed time.

 

Prayer

 

Father, I trust You to encourage and enrich me in my faith in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank and praise You for the Helper the Holy Spirit of God, whom You sent to me and placed a seal of ownership upon me and my life. I thank You for keeping me on the straight path of righteousness and holiness and granting me discernment to know Your will. I cannot praise and thank You enough for everything You are doing for me and have done for me throughout the years. Thank You for drawing me closer and nearer to God, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

GENUINE FAITH

 

 

 

2 Timothy 1:5-7 NLT  I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.

 

Our Father in Heaven, has filled us with genuine faith, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, so that we can share our faith with others. He is the One who keeps us strong in our faith as we draw closer and nearer to Him. The more we see our prayers answered by Him the more we can see our faith deepen and grow with Him. Reading God’s Word, strengthens our faith as we stand upon the truth and promises His Word brings to our hearts and minds. It says in Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. This is what we all need to do.

 

Prayer

 

Holy Spirit, I ask You to fill my heart full of faith in the name of my precious Lord Jesus Christ. I ask for genuine faith so I am able to share my faith with others. Make my faith strong so that it does not waver in anything I do. I pray Your Truth and Promises will never fail me. Your Word is the Truth renew my mind in the mind of Jesus Christ, enabling and empowering me to follow You for the rest of my days until I meet You in eternity. I ask this prayer in Jesus Christ’s precious name. Amen 

FAITH HEALS YOU

 

 

Mark 5:34 NLT He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

 

When you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, no matter what you have to face during your day, you need not be afraid. God is completely in control. He knows what is ahead for us and the Holy Spirit of God, is there to help us. We do need discernment from the Holy Spirit, as it is crucial in our walk of faith. 

Prayer is the key to which we can overcome the trials we face. We must train our minds to quickly turn to God for the help we need. You do this by acknowledging God in all situations. We must be aware of unseen circumstances. We must reach out to God and boldly speak out in faith what we believe He will do.

 

Prayer

 

Jesus, my love, joy, faith, trust, is in You completley. No matter what my day may hold, I am trusting You to watch over and take care of my needs. I love You glorify You and magnify You. I am full of gratitude for everything You have done for me, especially when I am assured that You have answered the prayers I petitioned in Your precious and holy name in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

 

JESUS CALLING

 

 

Romans 8:31 NLT What shall I say about such wonderful thing as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

 

In my life my self-esteem was very low, and I never felt good enough. I always thought others were far better than me, my self-esteem was zero. When I received Jesus Christ into my life and His salvation, I knew my life would never be the same again.

When I decide to take a course of action that is in line with His will, nothing in heaven or earth can stop me. I have encountered many obstacles as I moved forward towards the goals God has for me, but He has helped me not to be discouraged – never to give up! With His help I know I can overcome any obstacle. I do not expect an easy path as I journey hand in hand with Him, but I do remember that He is my ever present Helper, He is Omnipotent, Omnicent, Omnipresemce, and I am aware of the past, present, and future I have with Him. I don’t have to be stressed any longer, as He knows the plans He has for my life, and all He wants from me is to trust Him in faith.

 

Prayer

 

Almighty God, I praise and thank You that my faith is steadily growing in You. I continue to trust in You. You have a plan for my life and nothing will stop Your plans coming to pass at Your appointed time. Thank You that You remove the obstacles standing in my path, You are enabling me to trust You and are showing me I must never give up no matter what my circumstances maybe. I thank You, and praise You; I exalt and glorify You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 

BE STRONG AND TAKE HEART

 

 

Psalm 31:23-24 NLT Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to Him, but He harshly punishes the arrogant. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!

 

We must ask the Holy Spirit to receive God’s glorious love in full measure. This will dramatically increase our love for Him. The world is full of dangers, so it is wise to hold tightly to His hand. Listen – through His Spirit and His Word – while He talks us through tough times. Pour out your heart to Him, remembering that He is our refuge and strength. As we stay in dialogue with Him, He helps us to handle whatever is before us. 

We must take care to live in Him, and let Him live in us. We cannot produce any fruit when we are severed from the Vine of God. Nor can we be fruitful apart from Him. 

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, I ask You to fill me with love in full measure in the name of Jesus Christ. The world is full of danger, so I tighty hold onto Your hand and I will listen to You through Your Holy Spirit. I will pour out my heart to You remembering You are my refuge and strength. As I stay in dialogue with You, You will help me to handle whatever is before me. I ask You to make me strong in my times of troubles and help me to be bold and courageous as I put my love, trust, and faith in You forever in the name of Jesus Name I come. Amen 

CONFIDENCE IN CHRIST

 

 

Isaiah 41:10 NLT Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.

 

God has shown me how He wants me to be confident in Him. I must depend upon His resources and not on my own resources. It's through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God which strengthens me and this enables me to cope. I need to get my own relationship right with God first and foremost. He is the only One who can give me the constant assurance I need that He is always with me. So, I do not need to be afraid. I need to seek His company through prayer and reading His Word. This helps me to understand how He wants me to grow. One thing for certain if I have a relationship with God, He will be my constant companion. In obedience to His will I will allow Him to do whatever He wants to do in your life.

 

Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, You are teaching me to be confident in You and I will not be afraid. I am learning daily to lean upon You, and draw my strength and resources from You.  I ask You to keep me deep rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ. I know for certain He is my constant companion, and I will allow Him to do whatever He want's t to do in my life in the precious name of Jesus Christ. May my relationship with Him be built upon the Rock and Foundation of Jesus Christ. I commit and commend this prayer to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen 

MOVE FORWARD

 

Hebrews 6:1 NLT So let us stop over the basic treachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understandng. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

 

To move forward with God and become more mature in faith, we need a deep understanding of who Jesus Christ is? The Bible helps us to see we need to rely, depend, and lean upon the Holy Spirit of God. He reveals God’s character, nature, personality to us. When we are hurting or wanting to run away or even feel like hitting someone, the best thing we can do is call out to Jesus immediately, and begin to talk things through with Him. He is available at all times. He sits and waits for all of His children to come to Him. Nothing is too hard or difficult that He cannot solve. His love is always the same, it never alters or changes. He accepts and loves His children for who they are, not what someone else wants them to be. He does not want any of us to live on feelings and emotions. He wants us to live effectively for Him to glorify and honour Him and this is a choice we make. 

 

Prayer 

 

Gracious God, let me stop going over the same old ground again and again. Let me go on instead to other things and help my faith to become mature in my understanding of God's Word and become a strong Christian. I do not need to be foolish about trying to be saved by being good, or about the necessity of faith, I place my trust and faith in God completely in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
