New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Healed From Sin’

He forgives all my sins. He heals me. (Psalm 103:3 NLT)

He spoke, and they were healed—snatched from the door of death. (Psalm107:20 NLT)

                                                                      Prayer

Father, through Your Son Jesus Christ, has forgiven me all my sins; through His Blood which was shed on the Cross of Calvary. I praise and thank Him for this. He spoke, and I was healed – snatched from the door of death. He didn't send me sickness as a punishment or to get my attention. He is in the business of healing my life. He is my healer and deliverer. He commands His healing and it's done. He has brought me understanding to know what He is doing, and that no matter what I see or hear, I am to be a mighty prayer warrior. As His child, I have authority to decree and proclaim His Word, and He wants me to focus my heart and mind on what He has taught me of redemptive healing. I shall take His authority and proclaim His will for healing and deliverance. He embraces all my needs in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Opportunities’

The Word of the Lord will last forever. And his message is the Good News that was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:25 TLB)
Your words are what sustain me; they are food to my hungry soul. They bring joy to my sorrowing heart and delight me. How proud I am to bear your name, O Lord.
(Jeremiah 15:16 TLB)

                                                                  Prayer

O my precious God, Your Word will last forever; and it is Your message that brings the Good News preached about Jesus Christ my precious Lord; to my heart, spirit, and soul. Your words sustains me; they are food for my hungry soul. They bring joy to my sorrowing heart and delight me. How proud I am to bear Your name, O Lord.
Today, I seize every opportunity You have placed before me because when You make a promise to me You will always honour it. Your words aren't mere sounds or nice platitudes; each syllables breathed from Your holy mouth ordained to reach and teach me. I will succeed because You have said so. Your words over me are forever settled in heaven! Your Words infuse me with ability that cannot be counterfeited. I will succeed at my task as You have planned it. You will never let me plunge headlong into collapse. When I believe and trust You, I will become a golden thread in the fabric of Your perfect will. There is no higher calling for me being called in the name of Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘My Prayer Request’

He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would wonderfully bless me and help me in my work; please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all evil and disaster!” And God granted him his request. (1 Chronicles 4:10 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

O Father, You are peeling away from me everything that is unnecessary in my life. You are pouring Your thoughts into me. You are climbing upon the pinnacles of my finest hours. I shall listen to You. Your voice shakes the wilderness – my wilderness. This is a new day for me and a time for me to increase. I shall be glad and You will expand the pegs of my tent. You are going to cause my good deeds to multiply. Oh, that You would wonderfully bless me and help me in my work; please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all evil and disaster. You are my shield, my glory, and my only hope. How precious it is Lord, to realise that You are thinking about me constantly! I can't even countdown many times a day my thoughts turn towards You. And when I waken in the morning, You are still thinking of me! Thank You that You have granted me my request in Jesus name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Thorn In My Flesh’

I will say this: because these experiences I had were so tremendous, God was afraid I might be puffed up by them; so I was given a physical condition which has been a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to hurt and bother me and prick my pride.
(2 Corinthians 12:7 TLB)

                                                                 Prayer

Father, You have given me a physical condition which has been a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to hurt and bother me and prick my pride. I will not be upset at the thorn in my side. You will pull it out. In the meantime, I shall be glad that the power within me is greater than any struggle or hassle on the surface and surrounding me. A thorn is not a sword. An annoyance and nuisance is not a catastrophe (though at times it feels like it). You will cause the voice of Your authority to be heard. The majesty of Your voice and strength of Your arm will be known! Your voice will carve flames of fire in the conscience of all the opposition to Your will. You will fight all my battles for me, I need only be still and trust You. I praise and bless You Father, for all things great and small in Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Empty’

So take a new grip with your tired hands, stand firm on your shaky legs, and mark out a straight, smooth path for your feet so that those who follow you, though weak and lame, will not fall and hurt themselves but become strong. (Hebrews 12:12-13 TLB)

                                                                     Prayer

O God, help to take a new grip with my tired hands, stand firm on my shaky legs, and mark out a straight, smooth path for my feet so that those who follow me, though weak and lame, will not fall and hurt themselves but become strong.
I need to come to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God each day, so I do not feel empty and drained of energy. I understand that You are here for me. You will revive me. Your Spirit within me is in me to lift me up and restore my soul to an even happier and more energetic me. When I feel weary and without strength to carry on, let me take a deep breath, fix my thoughts on Christ, and I will let Him love me. When I feel I have nothing left to give, I shall give Jesus that nothing so He can fill me afresh and anew and help me to be strong once again. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God’s Protection’

When evil men come to destroy me, they will stumble and fall! Yes, though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear! I am confident that God will save me. (Psalm 27:1-3 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

O my precious Lord, You are my light and my salvation; You protect me from all danger – so whom shall I fear. When evil men come to destroy me, they will stumble and fall! Yes, though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear! I am confident that my God will save me.
I ask You for Your strength to rise up within me and overtake my inclinations to act according to my feelings. I have depended upon my feelings, instead of relying solely upon Your supernatural strength and courage, this is when I sink in the stormy water when I could have walked without a problem because I was relying upon You and not on me. I know I am stronger than I think, and I have boundless courage in You. I shall reach inside my heart, soul, and spirit and draw upon Your Holy Spirit to meet my needs, help others, and walk on my stormy waters. Jesus Christ, is the only One who can help me. Help me Jesus to be more dependant upon You, to lean upon You, and to rest upon You for all of my needs in everything I do. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Evil Desires’

Those who belong to Christ have nailed their natural evil desires to his cross and crucified them there. (Galatians 5:24 TLB)
Being punished isn’t enjoyable while it is happening—it hurts! But afterwards we can see the result, a quiet growth in grace and character. (Hebrews 12:11 TLB)

                                                                  Prayer

Father, those who belong to Christ Jesus, have nailed their natural evil desires to His cross.
I have been crucified with Christ: and I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the real life I now have within this body is a result of my trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20 TLB)
Father, I admit to You I have been afraid of self-denial, of saying no to myself; I have been afraid of not being appreciated, of disappointing someone. I have been afraid of failure, of being unimportant, of being out-done. The problem for me is not lack of time, it is a lack of being disciplined. Father, I ask You to give to me a heavenly boost and a divine nudge to help me recognise my need for discipline and sustained to be dedicated to a task I have to do. You will never give to me more than I can handle. I have nothing to fear. Being punished isn’t enjoyable while it is happening – it hurts! But afterwards the result, is a quiet growth in grace and character the character of Christ.
Father God, You have given me the ability to do all things well for Your honour and glory. I pray You would increase my faith, with Your grace and mercy helping me to become more Christ-like now and forever more. Amen.
