New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Called By God’

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 You will find me when you seek me, if you look for me in earnest. 14 Yes, says the Lord, I will be found by you, and I will end your slavery and restore your fortunes; I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you back home again to your own land.
(Jeremiah 29:11-14 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

Father, You have a great plan for my life. This plan You have for me is for good and not for evil, it will give me a hope and a future. I will come and pray to You and You have promised to listen to me as long as I seek You with all of my heart through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.
Sometimes, I have felt the perplexity of my future, not knowing what's ahead for me. It may seem from an earthly perspective, the developments may seem chaotic and bewildering, but this is when I need more faith to sustain me in Christ Jesus. I ask Him to add more faith to me and to guide and lead me into His perfect will. He will not allow me to fend for myself.
He has given me the experiences and used them as tools to knit and shape me into His desired will. He has equipped and empowered me to become the person He wants me to become – in regard to my character as well as my conduct.
The Lord’s hand is upon my life. He is working out His plan, silently and softly, sometimes with jarring disruptions. But He is always there, directing and moving. I shall never imagine myself  to be insignificant in His eyes. I am so highly esteemed that almighty God has designed a unique calling just for me. He has brought me back into the land and has ended my slavery and He has restored my fortunes I praise and thank Him for this. His plans shall come to pass for my life and I shall always bring Him all the glory and praise through Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Stir Up The Flame Within Me’

This being so, I want to remind you to stir into flame the strength and boldness [*] that is in you, that entered into you when I laid my hands upon your head and blessed you. 7 For the Holy Spirit, God’s gift, does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong, and to love them and enjoy being with them. (2 Timothy 1:6-7 TLB)

                                                                  Prayer

Holy Spirit, I ask you remind me to stir into flame the strength and boldness that is within me, that entered into me when the elders of the church laid their hands upon my head and blessed me. God has gifted me with the Holy Spirit, so that I shall not be afraid of people, but He wants me to be wise and strong, and to love and enjoy being with them.
I ask God to prompt me when my flame begins to flicker, and ask Him not to allow the flame to dim itself within me. Do not let me shift my eyes or life from Jesus Christ, but I ask You to keep my eyes focused on my precious Lord, so He will become bigger than any kind of obstacles or difficulties I may have. I ask Him to help me recognise any discouraging thoughts which may come from the devil, not let anything take root within me.
When I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I must be careful not to spring a leak asking Him to refill my heart afresh and anew, and confess all my sins before Him daily. I commit and commend my life, body, soul, and spirit to Him today and everyday of my life into eternity with Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Special Abilities'

God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings. (1 Peter 4:10 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

Father, You have given me some special abilities, I will be sure to use them to help others, passing on to others many kinds of blessings.
When You ask me to do something that is encouraging and challenging, I shall say ‘Yes’,  to You, only because You say ‘I am more gifted than I think’. I shall take the chance and do something different and use the gifts You have given to me in the fullness of God’s grace in its various forms.
Sometimes, I have had to step out and take the risk of something new to meet the call of God upon my life. He has revealed to me my gifts and how to use those gifts. I praise and thank God for granting me gifts that is relevant for me and I do use them in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, now and always through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Helping Others'

It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.
(Ephesians 2:10 TLB)

                                                                       Prayer

Father, it is You who has made me what I am and You have given me a new life from Christ Jesus; and long ago You planned that I should spend my life in helping others. I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which You prepared in advance for me to do. I am a special person in Jesus Christ my precious Lord, and He has unique work for me to do. I acknowledge my own uniqueness , and I do celebrate the one-of-kind opportunities that You, O God; have placed before me. I do not want to fall into a trap – the trap of taking myself and my opportunities for granted. You, Almighty God, have created me with a surprising array of talents, and You have placed me precisely where I am – at a time and place of Your choosing. You have done Your part by giving me life, love, blessings, and more opportunities that I can count. My particular situation is unique and so are my opportunities for service and the rest is up to me. I want You to enable, empower me, to do everything You have planned for my life in the life of Jesus Christ to the honour, praise and glory of my Heavenly Father, now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Disciplined For Christ'

Like an athlete I punish my body, treating it roughly, training it to do what it should, not what it wants to. Otherwise I fear that after enlisting others for the race, I myself might be declared unfit and ordered to stand aside. (1 Corinthians 9:27 TLB)

                                                            Prayer

Father, I shall discipline my body, treating it roughly, training it to do what it should, not what it wants to. Otherwise I fear that after enlisting others for the race, I myself might be declared unfit and ordered to stand aside. Holy Spirit, I ask You for self-control to discipline my mind enabling me to meditate on Your Word.
Many things are competing for me to notice, sometimes it is difficult for me to focus on God. I strive to do it anyway. When I focus my attention on You and give You my attention through Your Word, I ask You to direct my mind. I ask You to immerse my mind on the Scripture’s needed to keep me in alignment to Your perfect will. I ask You to speak  Words of Wisdom to my heart and mind, in all my present circumstances. I desire to ponder on the great thoughts of the almighty God and grow closer and nearer to Him through Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God’s Sweet Perfume‘

But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, he has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go he uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a sweet perfume. (2 Corinthians 2:14TLB)

                                                            Prayer

Oh, thanks be to God, for all He has done through Jesus Christ; He has triumphed over all mine enemies. I can tell others about the Lord and spread the Gospel of Christ like a sweet perfume. I shall not look back. I shall hold Him close to my heart today, for His love for me is a perfect love.
I can look ahead and envision the glorious future He has prepared for me. The troubles and sufferings of mine are, after all, quite small and will not last for very long. They are no way comparable to the glory which is ahead. You are leading me along the steep mountain roads of faith. Your Holy Spirit is composing a living future life insurance plan as I make the upward climb, passing through the forest of answered prayers. I have Your approval as I continue onward, not looking back. This is living! My future life insurance is guaranteed forever and always in Christ Jesus. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Security in God ‘

“I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb; before you were born I sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” (Jeremiah 1:5 TLB)
The good man does not escape all troubles—he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.(Psalm 34:19 TLB)
Even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. (Psalm 139:10 TLB)

                                                                     Prayer

Father, You have loved me from the beginning. You knew me before I existed, You sanctified me and appointed me to be Your spokesman to the world; so I can trust that You know what is right and best for me.
I can trust You to know how to guide and lead me into maturity and You are building my character in You worthy of heaven’s delight. I appreciate and love my life today because Your hand is leading me. You are appointing me to a place of safety and contentment. Many afflictions can beat at the doors of Your chosen ones, but I know You will deliver me from each threat.
Father, at times You have allowed me to hit rock bottom in order to separate me from destructive dependencies. My only real security is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Father, You want to set me free from bondage which tied me to the world, I want to be free from this world too. So,that when troubles come, I shall remember that my smartest course of action is to turn to God. He is the only One who has my best interest in mind, and so I praise and trust He’s using exactly what’s necessary to set me free and plant my feet on solid ground. Lord, You are my Protector and Provider, my only genuine refuge. Thank You for safeguarding me, in the precious Name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Perfect Peace'

Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way.(Psalm 23:4 TLB)
He will give his people strength. He will bless them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 TLB)
He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! (Isaiah 26:3TLB)

.                                                                   Prayer

Father, I shall rest for moment with You. When I walk through the dark valley of adversity, my thoughts can contort and meander; my energy can thin out and deplete, but You are there to lift me up. You will never ever let me fall. You will give Your people strength. You will bless me in Your perfect peace because I trust in You.
You’ll enliven and invigorate my mind. I will allow You to breathe You sweet fresh breath across my brow and stroke my cheek with Your peace. You’ll restore quietness to my soul, and renew my vision for my future. I rely upon Your promises so I can't fall, and for this reason I must learn to lean into Your arms and rest forever in Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘I Will Please The Lord ‘

The way you live will always please the Lord and honour Him, so that you will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time you are learning to know God better and better. (Colossians 1:10 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

O my precious God, I will always please You by honouring You. I will do good, kind things for others, this will help me to put into practice what You are teaching me.
You have created me with love and wisdom, for a purpose and a reason. I have no idea what the outcome will be. I do know however; You do know the outcome of my life. You created me for a unique purpose which only I can do and I shall fulfil that purpose and it will come into fruition at Your appointed time.
I thank You for Your Holy Spirit, in dwelling presence within me, and I thank You that He will anoint my mouth with words of wisdom, discernment, understanding, knowledge, insight, and revelation which will have enormous effect and influences on other people I meet.
My relationship with God is the most important relationship I shall ever have. Those people who get to know me will see how deeply He loves, comforts, and strengthens me, and also they will see when I am faced with trials of any kind, I run straight to Jesus Christ; for the help I need to overcome those trials through faith in Him.
I shall demonstrate my love for Christ to everyone I meet in my obedience to Him. He will work through me and everyone will see how precious my life and my Saviour truly are. I praise and bless Him. I exalt and love Him forever and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘God’s Message‘

Then He told me, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Messiah and hear Him speak. You are to take His message everywhere, telling what you have seen and heard. And now, why delay? Go and baptise and be cleansed from your sins, call on the name of the Lord.’ (Acts 22:14-16 TLB)

                                                                      Prayer

O my precious Lord, You have chosen us to know Your will and to speak Your Word to the heart of Your people. We are to take Your massage everywhere, telling people what we have seen and heard from You. We are not to delay, but go out and baptise them in the name of God the Father, God the Son; and God the Holy Spirit, asking You to cleanse them from all their sin and to call upon the name of the Lord..
We should not try the Lord’s patience – if we do we shall have to bear the consequences of our actions. We should love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, body, soul, and spirit’s and accept that He knows what is best for us.
We should never forsake our high calling in Christ, for the empty rewards of those who bargain for our  soul’s with cheap offers, putrid and foul in the stench of the sun. The tempting, the counterfeit promises are that strangle our beauty in Christ, and kill our soul’s. We are God’s chosen vessels, His sweet adorable treasure. You have chosen us together with Yourself, so we can together soar to high places, dance on mountain tops, sing with the angels, thrill in the wonder of Your creation, and multiply everlasting joy. So, Father, let us honour our calling, staying close to Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, we commend this prayer to You. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Loneliness ‘

This letter is from Paul,  Jesus Christ’s slave, chosen to be a missionary, and sent out to preach God’s Good News. This Good News was promised long ago by God’s prophets in the Old Testament.

.                                                                        Prayer

O my beloved God, You have chosen me to go out to preach Your Good News. This Good News was promised long ago by Your prophets in the Old Testament.
Although many times I have felt terrible loneliness, I realise this goes with the high calling which includes a certain amount of loneliness – and also separation from sin and removing myself from worldly pleasures that wilt the heart and dry up the spirit. You have chosen me; the old vacuous, cheap patterns of life no longer fit me. I have thrown off the old ill-fitting coat for my one-of-a-kind Holy Spirit designer robe. Loneliness won’t last for long, when I see in the spirit that I am surrounded by a great and enormous cloud of delighted friends as witnesses loving me and cheering me on forever and always through Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘Your Kingdom Never Ends’

For Your kingdom never ends. You rule generation after generation. (Psalm 145:13)

Father God, Your Kingdom, never ends. You rule generation after generation. Let me hold to the hope unswervingly, for Your promises are faithful and true. Now I can look forward to the salvation God has promised me. There is no longer any room for doubt, and I can tell others that salvation is there’s, there is no question that He will do what He says.
God, You will never fail me. You are the One that is constant in my life and I can trust You utterly and without reservation. I do not need to wonder if You will be there tomorrow or whether You will still love me. You will. I can count on the promises You have made with me, for I trust in Your Word.
I know You may not do things in the way I expect, but I can be certain You will never let me down. You are faithful to those who are faithful to You. You are faithful in all Your Words, and gracious in all Your deeds, for the honour and praise of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House and Meet with Him in Prayer’ – ‘True Potential’

He stilled the storm to a whisper. . . . They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. PSALM 107:29–30 NIV

                                                                      Prayer

O my precious God, You will still all the storms within my life. You will command them to be still and they will obey You, and then my heart, soul and body will be calm.
At the moment my desires and goals God has put within my heart may appear exceedingly far away. I know my Heavenly Father, has the wisdom and power necessary to get me to the destination He has planned for me. He understands the best, most effective way to take me – the path that He has prepared for me perfectly for He knows what is ahead. No, it may not be the way I would have chosen for myself, but I can be assured – there is no more wonderful or impactful plan for my life than the one You have created for me.
I am not afraid to follow the storms of adversity that arise. These are necessary for the Father to reach the deepest places of my soul and grow me up to reach the my full potential. He does these things within my life not to hurt me but to mature me. He does not limit me, but He shows me what’s possible and He is making me ready for His astounding purposes. So, I shall cling to Him and I shall trust in His navigation. I can be assured – He will get me to my desired haven. Lord, You are my faithful Commander – always You shall lead me perfectly as I shall trust You more in Jesus Christ. Amen.
