New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Made Right with God’

So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in His promises, we can have a real peace with Him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
(Romans 5:1 TLB)

Prayer

Father, we thank You that we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in His promises, we can have a real peace with You because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us on the Cross of Calvary. We have acknowledged our sins before Him and the atonement of Christ is the sacrificial work of Jesus for sinners. In His death on the cross, Christ atonement for the sins of humanity such that God is satisfied and reconciliation is accomplished for all who will be redeemed. The obedience and death of Christ on behalf of sinners is the ground of redemption.
He has cleansed and purified us through Christ’s Shed Blood, and as individuals we should be ever grateful to Him for all He has done for us.
Because of our faith He has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to actually becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us – they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us to trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith become strong and steady. Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit of God to fill our hearts, spirits, souls and minds with His love, grace, mercy, and peace forever and always in Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God’s Goodness’

Oh, how great is Your goodness to those who publicly declare that You will rescue them. For You have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence You.
(Psalm 31:19TLB)

Prayer

O my precious God, how great is Your goodness to those who publicly declare that You will rescue them. For You have stored up great blessings for those who trust and reverence Your holy name.
Hide Your loved ones in the shelter of Your presence, safe beneath Your hand, safe from all conspiring men.
Blessed is the Lord, for He has shown me that His never-failing love protects me like the walls of a fort. I spoke at times too hastily when I said, “The Lord has deserted me,” for You listened to my plea and You answered me at Your appointed time.
Oh! I shall love the Lord my God, with all my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit; I shall praise His precious and holy name with all of the people; who love His name. He protects those who are loyal to Him, but He will harshly punish all who haughtily reject Him.

So, cheer up! Take courage if You are depending on the Lord, He will never ever let you down, for He is faithful to His Word and to His people who worship Him in truth and in Spirit through the Holy Spirit of God now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer- Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

Wear the Robe of Christ

Reading: Genesis 37:3

“Wear the garments of Christ.”

Prayer

Father, You remind me to wear the robe of Christ. You show me by wearing Your robe that there is danger associated with it. The special favour You give me can make me become insecure and critical. I want to be the one wearing the garments of Christ. Do not allow me to become insensitive to the way Your power and status affect others. I realize now I have not always understood the struggles and frustrations of my brothers/sisters who work just as hard as I do. I know now why I have had to spend my years as a slave and prisoner. It is in prison, which is not a palace, that I come to realize I was not the only one for whom life had not turned out according to Your plan (before I can lead people, I first have to understand them). Let me be careful! I am between robes today, but I can rejoice. I am in a learning period, and like Joseph, I know You are with me. When I come through this I will be equipped for the job You call me to do! May the honour and praise be His alone. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The moment we meet with Jesus Christ we are to put on His garments, so we may become righteous, holy, and godly. Through prayer daily, we must ask God to dress us in the Robe of Christ. The robe is a symbol of God’s favouritism toward us; we must not aggravate the already strained relations we may have between our brothers/sisters. We need to wear His cloak, mantle, characteristics, and very nature and become more like Him. We do not want to become insecure or critical of others. We need His power and status to affect others around us. Some of us are in a learning period, and like Joseph we know God is with us. When we come through learning and understanding people, we will be equipped for the job God is calling us to do.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Connected Together in Christ’

How natural it is that I should feel as I do about you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others about Christ. (Philippians 1:7 TLB)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You have connected me to be with certain people which are right for me. Help me to discern who those people are. Without them my destiny would not be complete. I am humble enough to accept that my possibilities are unlimited. How natural it is that I should feel as I do about them, for they have a very special place in my heart in the heart of Jesus Christ. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I came out of prison, defending the truth and telling others about Christ.
I desire always to abide in the Vine of God, a branch abiding in Him without Him I can do nothing, but in Him I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.
I shall build my thinking upon Christ Jesus and be in harmony with Him through the Holy Spirit of God. I bring every thought, word, and deed, captive in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You for praying for me Jesus, that my faith will not fail but my faith would be made strong and very courageous in You.

Therefore, I can always be of good courage, and knowing that while I am at home in the body I am absent from the Lord – I am of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord Jesus Christ now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘One with Christ’

You must love Him with all your heart, soul, and might. (Deuteronomy 6:5 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You see me as a whole person. You ask me to be full of integrity (to be whole) in my life, because it won’t work any other way. You made me with one will one heart with one spirit, and with one soul to be one with You.
I love You, the Lord my God, with all my heart, mind, body spirit, soul, and strength. I want to be one with Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit of God; guiding and leading me with His supernatural power into God’s perfect will.
I refuse to live my life compartmentalised as an arrow of compartments or a collection of separate performances. Jesus Christ has made me a whole person and I shall not fear or be afraid or dismayed any longer. For He is with me and He is my God  He will strengthen me, yes, He will help me and He will uphold me with His righteous right hand.
I refuse to take on board anymore of Satan’s thoughts, ideas, his lies, deceit, and deception; in the name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. I accept through Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary, Jesus died once and for all to set me this captive free. He has washed, cleansed and purified me through His Shed Blood. I have admitted all my sin before Him and I have received His forgiveness and love once and for all.

I pray for wisdom and protection, I admit my inner struggles in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask for His strength and courage to stand firm, upright and straight in Him. He has promised that He will protect me through His name and His Blood and I shall bring honour, glory, and praise to my heavenly Father through His precious and holy Name. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘The Certainty of God's Promise’

Reading: Hebrews 6:13-15

“God has made a promise.”

Prayer

Father, You have made certain promises to me, which I accept, for there is no one greater than You. You give me everything in this world, because I am joint heir with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When You have made a promise to me, my faith in You believes it, my hope anticipates it, and my patience quietly awaits it. I do this with great expectations in the Lord. I will not distrust You or disbelieve You; I will not waver (doubt or question) You concerning Your promises to me, and I will grow stronger in my faith in You. You will empower me in faith to love and trust You, in the Spirit of God, through Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. Everything He speaks will be fulfilled at His appointed time. I give all the honour, praise, and glory to You always in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

When God makes promises with His people, He honours what He has said, and the promises He has made with us will come to fruition at His appointed time. Sometimes, we see His promises fulfilled immediately, and at other times, He will make us wait to test our faith in Him. Abraham had to wait patiently to have the son God promised him; it took twenty five years for God’s word to come to pass. Sometimes our trials and the temptations we face are so intense they seem to last for eternity. The Bible and the testimony of mature Christians encourage us to wait for God to act in His timing, even when our needs appear too great to wait any longer. We must be prepared to wait on God to do whatever is necessary in our lives. This is part of His plan to teach us patience and waiting. They go hand-in-hand with one another. His plans will unfold when He is ready to unfold them, and we need to be ready to receive those plans from Him.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Entrust My Cares to God’

If you humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up.
Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 TLB

Prayer

O my precious Lord, I come before You and humble myself under Your almighty hand. In Your good time You will lift me up. I shall let You have all my worries and cares I entrust my problems into Your care. You are responsible for me for I am Your child. My conflicts concern You and You have promised to sustain me as I cast all my cares upon You.
Teach me to look to Your Word to guide and lead my conduct to You. Help me to seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; as I ask Jesus to steady my course.
I lean upon You for Your strength and courage and depend upon Your wisdom and find shelter and refuge in Your arms.
You will produce within me outstanding results as Your fruit shall grow within me, and the fruit will be seen in the world. You have taken all my problems and I have engaged Your mighty power to work on my behalf in the honour, praise, and glory of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God.
Thank You for fighting my battles for me. May I always have the results God wants me to have in His precious and peerless name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Nothing Is Ever Wasted’

We can rejoice too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they good for us – they help us learn to be patient. (Romans 5:3 TLB)
.
Prayer

Lord Jesus, nothing is ever wasted – not even in the hard difficult times You want me to face. You are teaching me more and more about trusting in God. This will help me to grow in faith as I continue to obey Your Word.
Holy Spirit, You are teaching me more and more how to depend upon, rely upon, and to lean upon You. I cannot always see Your presence in my life, but in faith and with confidence, I know You are always there for me. You have given me Your promise that You will never leave me, nor will You ever forsake me. You have said, “Your presence would go with me wherever I go.” This is good enough for me and I trust You in faith what You have said to me You shall surely do.
Continue to reinforce my faith. Build me up in the very nature and characteristics of Jesus Christ. Let my faith and confidence be deep rooted and grounded to Him in everything I do and let me always remember that He must take the first place within my life and include Him in everything I do.
May I bring all the glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving to God through my relationship with Him through Jesus Christ?

May the glory of God shine forth within me that I may witness and testify that the ‘Light of the World, Jesus Christ abides within me and I abide and dwell within Him for the honour, praise and glory of His Kingdom and Name . Amen.
