New Blog Post: ‘Surefooted’

Habakkuk 3:19 NLT The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.

Prayer

O my Sovereign Lord, You are my strength. You will make me surefooted as a deer and bring me to safely over all the mountains in my life. You, Lord, shall preserve my going out and my coming in.
I am convinced in faith that You, O God, are working out all of Your purposes for my life and the lives of my family, keeping us safe, because we depend and lean upon You.
I am absolutely convinced and convicted that because of God’s unchanging character and care this world is a totally secure place for me to be in. My anxiety and distress levels have gone down, because I trust in Jesus Christ my precious Lord.

I have been given that total assurance through Jesus Christ, my life and the lives of those I love are totally in His hands. So, I don’t need to be tormented any longer by my own inadequacy. I do not need to busy anymore. I see my limitations in contrast to God’s unlimited power and control of the world’s events; I cannot see all that God is doing and I cannot see all that God will do, but I can be assured that He is God, and He will do what is best and right for my family and me. Trusting in God gives me an inner calmness, peace, and an outer poise. He has taught me to think before I speak. Holy Spirit, I ask You to help me guard my tongue. Increase my faith to enable me to take risks for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My desire is to walk in submission and be obedient to God the Father, God the Holy Son, and God the Holy Spirit in everything I do, bringing Him all the honour, praise and glory. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘My Destiny’

1 Samuel 16:19 KJV ‘Send me which is with the sheep’

Prayer

Lord Jesus, send me to the sheep. When the time is right and when I am ready, You will send for me to do the job You are calling me to do. You will open all the doors and give me favour with the right people at Your appointed time.
May love and faithfulness, qualify me in my present assignment in Your eyes in what is ahead for me. Help me not to get discouraged or impatient – but stay faithful to God’s promises to me. He knows where to find me; He has given me talent – character, and integrity in my total commitment to Jesus Christ, which allows me to keep it – and to grow spiritually, even though I am in a hostile environment.
God, You have shown me the important lesson’s You want me to learn and I must go through those lessons’ to learn Your future plan You have made for my life. If I succeed here, then I will be able to succeed anywhere in my walk and journey with Jesus Christ. It’s been here that I have learnt to be able to love and to love the unlovable, and fulfil God’s purpose too. It’s here that I ‘grow in grace’; this is the path to God’s destiny for my life. I shall continue in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God as He works within me. Enable and empower me to live my life and always be obedient to Christ for His glory, kingdom and name. Amen

New Blog Post: ‘You Will Raise Up My Descendants’

2 Samuel 7:12 NLT For when you die, I will raise up one of your descendants, and I will make his kingdom strong.

Prayer

Almighty God, when I die, You will raise up one of my descendants and You will make the kingdom strong. You are the One who will build a house – a temple – for Your name to dwell in. And You will establish the throne of Your kingdom forever in the descendants of Your people. You will be our Father, and we will be Your children. Those things You have spoken about to me will remain when I go.
My investment for Christ is in God’s people; therefore, I must increase my spiritual deposits. All my prayers for the people will live forever before God’s throne: therefore I must pray more; and pray for the generations that they may follow me in Christ Jesus.
Let my life’s stories live to inspire others: I must live to the fullest of God’s script of faithfulness, excellence, and godliness. May my giving to Christ and to others be furthered to honour and glorify God’s Kingdom and Name?
Let my child, carry my spiritual DNA: therefore I must know that she walks with God, and that the faith of my fathers to the third and fourth generation, will live on through her and through any children she may have.
God’s plan for my life has touched the lives and hearts of His people. No more shall I walk in the flesh. I turn away from it. I will now live my life in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. I ask Him to prompt me, guide and lead me in God’s perfect will. I surrender, submit, and abandon myself to God, in obedience to Christ Jesus my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Finding Rest in God’

Hebrews 4:9-11 NLT So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who enter into God’s rest will find rest from their labours, just as God rested after creating the world. Let us do our best to enter that place of rest.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the comfort You bring to me through Your Word. You have given me Your special rest within my heart because I put my love, faith and trust in You I receive Your rest and am grateful.
You will give to me clear direction, a new strength, and this great assurance that You O God, are with me. I do not need to hurry anymore. I am very serious about pursuing a deeper relationship with You, so I do not need to be distracted by lesser things that I will settle for a mediocre version of it. I need to regularly withdraw from activity, so I can be alone to pray to You, O God.
I need this break from all the pressures I have had to deal with from man/woman, family and friends. Now, it is my time to be refreshed and restored for the glory of God, in Christ Jesus my precious Lord.
I receive all the love, grace, mercy, and compassion from my Father, which He has been waiting to give to me. My Lord, You will heal and restore my spirit, soul, heart, mind and body from the past experiences I have had to deal with. You will heal my broken-heart and I will give You all the praise, thanksgiving, adoration and love to God now and forever more through Jesus Christ’s precious name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Rivers of Life’

Hebrews 13:15-16 NLT With Jesus’ help; let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of His name. Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come to You with my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. I offer You my body as a living sacrifice pleasing and acceptable to God, for this is my reasonable service to God. I proclaim Your glory, honour and praise and bring it to Your kingdom and name.
I thank You for taking the Cross for me personally, and paying the price for all of my sins once and for all. You have set me free from all the strongholds and freeholds the enemy had upon my life. I am so thankful and grateful to You for this.
Father, You have sent to me Your Holy Spirit to live and make His home within me. Let me therefore come boldly to the throne of grace and ask Him for the help I need.
You Lord, are near to me for I call upon Your name. I call out to You for the truth. I have this great assurance as I come to You, O God; that You will never turn me away.

I come to Your deep wells of water, and ask You to immerse and drench me in these great rivers of life, so I may be filled in the fullness of Jesus Christ. Let me let go of the shore-lines and launch out into the deep waters with God. Never let me forget the Man with the measuring line is right beside me today. In the deep of the Holy Spirit, He becomes a bright marvellous answer to my prayers. He most carefully and tenderly gives me His guidance and wisdom, the most thoughtful anticipation for my needs the most accurate and supernatural shaping of all the events in my life. Truly, I trust in God with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding, but in all my ways I will acknowledge Him and He will make the crooked places straight. He is my 'Best Friend', and I know I can depend and lean upon Him for everything in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘No Other God’

Deuteronomy 33:26-27 NLT There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendour. The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you.

Prayer

O my precious God, I thank You that Your everlasting arms are underneath me and I have found my refuge in You. You, always hold out Your arms to catch me when the shaky supports I have trusted, collapse and may cause me to fall. Behold, Your hand is not shortened, that it cannot save me. You gather me in Your arms and I feel safe. You never tire from holding me and I am so grateful for this. I trust my life to You and the plans You have created for me, because I know You will only do what is right and best for me.
No storm can ever destroy me when I take refuge in You.
Those, however who are without God, must be forever cautious. One mistake may wipe them out. Living my life in this world may look like risky business, but it is the godless that are on shaky ground.
If You send the stony paths to me, You will always provide me with strong shoes to support me. You will never send me out on a journey for which You will not equip and empower me for.

O God, You are my refuge and strength an ever present help in all my times of trouble, I trust You to help me face whatever I need to face in this life here on earth, I dare to be bold and courageous in You. For You, O God will always protect me and watch over me and never let me down. You are my safety net and I am able to praise, honour and glorify You in the precious name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Go Deep with God’

Psalm 92:2 ‘The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.’

Prayer

Father, I desire to go deep into the Word of God, seeking Your righteousness, holiness, and godliness through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. He gives me substance and establishes the foundations enabling me to build my life upon the Rock and Foundation of Christ. No longer am I foreigner or an enemy to God, but I am a fellow-citizen with God’s people and a member of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles, and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Chief Cornerstone. He is the One who makes me flourish and grow like the palm tree. He waters those seeds deep within my heart, mind, spirit and soul through the Holy Spirit of God and He makes those seeds grow. He is my power and strength, without Him I can do nothing; in Him I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.
You have made great plans for my life and so at all costs I need to keep connected to You. I will never be uprooted, barren or blown away because I am rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ who is my Source and Provider.
In Your love and faithfulness You will always stand by me as You have said and promised to me. You are my best Friend, a Friend who will always be faithful, supportive and true.
You will always meet my needs according to all Your riches in glory. How blessed I am in You O God. I am confident in Your ‘Sovereignty and Care.’ It matter’s no more to me what others call me in my life. I seek only to please and honour You my God and King.
You know my heart and all my intentions. My character and nature is built upon God’s amazing grace and mercy. He imparts His Light to me and He dispels all the darkness around me forever and always in the precious and holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Facing Challenges’

Joshua 1:7-9 NLT “Be strong and very courageous. Obey all the laws Moses gave you. Do not turn away from them, and you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed. I command you – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Prayer

Father God, You are showing me how to handle the challenges I face daily. Firstly, I have to be strong and courageous because the tasks You have given me to do, which are ahead of me and will not be easy. Secondly, I am to obey Your laws and commands in obedience to Your Word and Will. Thirdly, I am to constantly study and read the Book of the Law – God’s Word faithfully. I shall do all these things in obedience to Christ Jesus.
I may not succeed by the world’s standards, but I will enjoy success in the midst of all the challenges I face, by recalling the Word of God and using them to my advantage, binding them within my heart and mind, and having that determination to walk in Your will and ways.
I begin my day by praying, talking all things through within my heart with God and I acknowledge He is my great Redeemer and Friend.
Reading and studying His mighty Word, brings truth into my life, as it unfolds within my heart, spirit, soul and mind it sets me free from all the darkness and the lies of the devil.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and I have been given fullness in Christ, who is the Head over every power and authority, in putting off my sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him through my faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. He has cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that was against me and that stood opposed to me; He took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them on the cross.

I dedicate and commit my life into the hands of God. I depend, lean and rely upon the Holy Spirit of God, to guide and lead me into the perfect will of God now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Endure As a Soldier of Christ’

2 Timothy 2:3-7 NLT Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. And as Christ’s soldier, do not let yourself become tied up in the affairs of this life, for then you cannot satisfy the One who has enlisted you in His army. Follow the Lord’s rules for doing His work, just as an athlete either follows the rules or is disqualified and wins no prize. Hardworking farmers are the first to enjoy the fruit of their labour. Think about what I am saying: The Lord will give you understanding in all these things.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I will be able to endure suffering along with You, as a good soldier of Christ. And as a soldier of Christ, I will not let myself become tied up in the affairs of this life, for I cannot satisfy the One who has enlisted me into His army.
I shall follow Your rules Jesus, and diligently and regularly cultivate a life of style of biblical meditation. I will store up in my heart and mind a wealth of God’s Wisdom, and God’s truth, since the Source of Scriptures is Jehovah God. I need His help to allow the Word of God to penetrate my heart.
I ask You to open up my mind and heart fully enabling me to understand and comprehend God’s perspective in all things. I will ponder and weigh the content of Scriptures in accordance to Your will. I ask You to speak to my innermost being.

Lord, You have promised to give me understanding in “everything.” Then whatever I am faced with, in the inner being will be ready for the unexpected. The words of my mouth and the deeds of my hands will flow from my heart, which has been nourished in and guarded by God, with Wisdom from my Helper, the Holy Spirit of God. He will teach me all things, and bring into my remembrance everything He has taught and promised me for the praise, honour, and glory of Christ Jesus. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Approve the Word of God in Me’

Psalm 19:14 NLT May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, empower me to digest the Word of God. Slowly, steadily, surely and productively, let Your Word comes alive within me. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight? You are my Strength and my Redeemer; I praise and thank You for this. I sit at Your feet being quiet, waiting patiently for You to speak to my heart, mind, spirit and soul. My great expectations are in You and You alone.
Let me keep in step with the Holy Spirit of God, and step out, one step at a time with Him. I am willing to be changed by the Spirit of God; He is the One who is in control of my life.
I am willing to be a follower of the Gospel of Christ, and be a fisherwoman for Christ.

Jesus, I ask You to examine my heart, and know my heart and see if there is any evil within me. I ask You, O God, to approve Your words and thoughts as I offer them as a sacrifice to You, O God. I ask You, to determine Your love and to guide and lead me in what I say and how I think? Let my mind be bound to Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Let that mind that is in Jesus Christ, also be within me, now and forever more. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Spiritual Perseverance’

Psalm 46:10 ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’

Prayer

Lord Jesus, because I have obeyed Your commands to persevere, You have given me the endurance, and the absolute assurance and certainty, what I am looking for is going to happen at Your appointed time. You will protect me from the great time of testing that will come to the whole world to test those who belong to this world. Perseverance means more than just hanging on, but it may expose my fear of letting go and falling.
Looking to Jesus and clinging to Him, asking Him to come quickly has given me the assurance that no-one will take away my crown.
I shall be still and know that He is my God and King. He is my Mighty Fortress an ever present help in my times of trouble.

I will honour His name His power and majesty. I shall exalt His glorious name and trust Him at His appointed time all things will come to pass in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.
