New Blog Post: “Salt and Light”

Matthew 5:13 ESV “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

God working through us enables Him to have an impact upon people’s lives. We must be willing to allow His power to work through us. We have been separated and set apart to carry out God’s will. He has commissioned us to do His work. We must not follow the customs of the world any longer. God wants to transform us into a new people changing us to think in His will and ways and not in our own. We are the salt of the earth and need to keep our flavour to preserve, penetrate, create a thirst, and become very quiet and be the healing element in people’s lives. Jesus is the Light who comes into our heart, mind, spirit, soul, and body and He makes us clean and pure. Jesus equips us to drive the darkness and evil spirits away. God’s Spirit uses us to warn others about the evil darkness, through God’s Divine Power. Jesus will convict us for our actions where evil has been in control of our lives; all we have to do is walk in obedience to Jesus Christ and He would do the rest.
