‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – Waiting on God

Psalm 130:5–6 NIV I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

When the Lord asks me to wait on Him, sometimes this is a hard thing for me to do. He encourages me when I am waiting for Him to act. He asks me to put my trust, confidence, faith, and hope in Him. I have done this many times and not once has God ever let me down, I hold onto the the promises He has made with me. He strengthens my faith as I read and meditate on His Word. This is where my faith is strengthened and increased. The more you read the Bible, the more truth of the Bible comes alive within your heart.
I ask the Holy Spirit of God to enrich and enlighten my heart, enabling me to see all things through God’s eyes and His perspective. He is in complete control of every situation I have in my life. I am connected with Jesus, at a deep level and I can always find Him in the midst of my activities. He constantly enlightens and enriches me and increases me in my faith to completely trust in Him. The more I include Him  in my activities, the more I am aware of His presence being in the centre of my life. My days become brighter, my routines become lighter and they sparkle with the liveliness of His company.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that You enable me to wait for You to act in Your presence. I praise and thank You for the Helper the Holy Spirit of God. He has taught me how to wait for Your plan to come to fruition, in the precious name of Jesus Christ so, I have no need to be anxious or troubled how things will work out. You have everything worked out in accordance to Your great plans for my life in Christ. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – Trusting God

Proverbs 3:5–6 AMP Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

The Holy Spirit, helps me to trust in God in faith. He helps me to have trusting thoughts as He controls my mind. All He wants from me is my full cooperation. He shows me how I must rely upon Him and not lean on my own understanding. I have no need to be in control of my life any longer. God has shown me He has always been in control of my life before I was born to the earth. He has a great plan for me and He is constantly showing me what that plan is. I follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit of God in faith, knowing in faith He is in control of everything I do. If I wander away from the path He wants me to walk on, He gently brings me back again and puts me back onto the right path He has ordained and planned for me.
Prayer, has been the greatest asset to me. I have learned how to pray, wait for God to act, have the patience to wait on God; and most importantly; I expect Him in confident faith to answer my prayers at His appointed time.
Yes, at times I have found it hard to do this, but as I see the answer to prayer come, my confidence and faith has been built upon the Rock and Foundation of Jesus Christ. I dedicate and I commit and commend my life to Him forever and always.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I lean on, trust in, and I am confident in You Lord with all of my heart and mind and I do not rely upon my own insight or understanding. In all my ways I know, recognize, and acknowledge You, and You will direct me and make straight my paths.
I thank You for the help You have given to me through the Holy Spirit of God, who helps me to think thoughts that are trusting. I know He needs my cooperation, so I willingly give it to Him.  I will stop trying to rely upon my own understanding which helps me to feel in control, now I ask Your Holy Spirit, to control my mind completely. I look to You – trusting You in faith as I pray to You and acknowledge I need You every step and breath I take in the precious name of Jesus Christ. I commit my will and ways to the Lord, and I trust Him in all things great and small. I know He shall bring all my petition in prayer to pass at His appointed time. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – The Path of Life

ACTS 2:28 You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.

God shows His Word is within our hearts. He anoints our mouths and lips to do His speaking. We must obey when He asks us to speak to His people. There is no question of being disobedient. We should always be completely obedient to Him and be under His control. He prompts us to speak or when to be quiet through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. God guides and leads us to His people as He knows each and every person by name.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You are showing me the path for my life; You fill me with joy in Your presence I am thankful and grateful to You for this. I lean on, trust in and I am confident in You, Lord; with all of my heart and mind and I do not rely upon my own insight or understanding. You, Lord are my defence, my God my Rock and my Refuge. Whatever my circumstances may be, You can tell me something about myself as I lean upon Thee.
I know You have a special plan for my life, which only You can fulfill it. You have set me on the path to achieving Your goals for my life. I recongnise my worth daily as I follow You always in Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – God’s Plans are Perfect

Jeremiah 29:11 TLB For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We need to arrive at the place in our relationship with God to realize that He provides hope which no one can destroy. He is the Leader, and He is the One who stirs our heart and encourages us to move forward with Him. God makes His own plans for each individual. Sometimes, we may have to risk our faith and trust to crossover the “Red Sea”. By us completely putting our trust in Him, God may deliver us after we complete our walk through the “Red Sea”. God supported us after He parted the sea. Yes, in God’s eyes there are no losers only lives being changed for His glory. God has the cure for our inferiorities. It is the staff of His righteousness, which continues to heal. We need to grasp what God does for us and go forward with Him. In Christ we can meet each challenge. We no longer need to worry regarding our future, because God has every detail in His plan mapped out for us.

Prayer

Father, You have a plan for my life which no one can destroy. You have given me the hope to place my trust completely in You, in the name of Jesus Christ. You will guide and lead me through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, and I will arrive at my destination at Your appointed time. I move forward with You. I trust You will lead me into the promised land, the promise You made with my ancestors. I love You Lord, with all my heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit and know You will never let me down. I commit this prayer into Your hands in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – The Fullness of Christ

Ephesians 3:19 AMP That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

We must continually ask God to fill us completely with His fullness, so we have the richest measure of the divine Presence: becoming a body wholly filled and flooded with Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. We can experience His love in the full measure of Christ.
Going through trials, we experience the love and faithfulness of Jesus Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge and understanding. He delivers us through the trials and at the same time increases our faith to grow in Him. Trials, help us to trust Him more although at times we may not realise this. We must remember always, that God is with us, and He holds us with His right hand. He guides us with His counsel, and afterwards He will take us into glory. What a wonderful revelation this is to know one day we shall be with our precious God again, something we can truly look forward too.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, how grateful and thankful we are to You; for everything You give to us through Your precious Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for filling us completely with the fullness of Christ, giving us the richest measure of His divine Presence. We praise and bless You for the Holy Spirit of God, who helps us determine Your purpose and Your will for our lives enabling and empowering us to walk a godly, holy, and righteous life for the glory of Jesus Christ. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – Jesus, Anchor’s My Soul

Psalm 32:7-8 TLB You are my hiding place from every storm of life; you even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.

When I find myself being troubled, I go straight to God, and search for Him with all of my heart. I know He is the only One who can help me with my restless heart. When I focus on my troubles they seem to be out of control. I remember God’s teachings to me, and ask the Holy Spirit of God, for the help I need. I ask Him to carry my burdens for me as I cast them upon Him. I am grateful and thankful to God, He gives me courage to carry on in Jesus Christ, precious name.

Prayer

Jesus, I have fled to You for refuge and can have great confidence as I hold onto the the hope that lies before me. This hope is strong and trustworthy anchor for my soul. It leads me through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
I come into Your sanctuary. You are my hiding place from every storm of my life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. You will instruct me and You will guide me along the best pathway for my life; You will advise me and watch my progress.
I will trust You to lead me step by step through each day. You will provide sufficient Light for me one day at a time, so that I do not run ahead of You; but I wait upon You almighty God to get me to the place You want me to be at Your appointed time. My future is in Your hands, and I trust You to work it all out in accordance to the plans for my life, in Jesus name I come. Amen

‘Come and Join Me in God’s Word’ – God Influences my Decisions

Romans 8:26 TLB And in the same way—by our faith[a]—the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. For we don’t even know what we should pray for nor how to pray as we should, but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words.

God is the One to influence the decisions we make. We must want to know what His will is for us. We should have the desire to be convicted of sin through His Spirit and the Word of God. We should not want sin to rule in our hearts. We must want to do good as Jesus has taught us. He is our confidence and strength, and He will keep our feet from being snared by our enemies. He does not withhold any good thing from us if He feels that we may deserve it. He has the power to act. We must have the desire to have our faith increased and to see for ourselves the God of the Bible still acts as He did thousands of years ago. It should not matter what people may think about us. What should matter is what God thinks of us. Having confidence in God’s Scriptures helps us to be calm and quiet when facing trials and difficulties. He never lets us down as we trust in the godly influence He makes upon our lives.

Prayer

Jesus, my faith and confidence is in You. I thank You for sending the Holy Spirit of God to me, He enables and empowers me to pray in accordance to the will of God. I praise You that He influences the decisions I make.  I can depend, rely, and lean upon Him that I am walking in accordance to His Sovereign will. I lift up Your name now and forevermore. Amen
