New Blog Post: ‘Listen to the Counsel of God’

Proverbs 22:17-21 NIV Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise, apply your heart to what I teach; for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips. So that your trust maybe in the Lord, I teach you today, even you. Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge, teaching you true and reliable words, so that you give sound answers to Him who sent you?

Prayer

O my beloved God, I love You with all my heart, mind, body, spirit and soul, and there is no other God that I desire to love but Thee, the One and only true God. I receive Your love for me, for without Your love there is nothing for me. You mean everything to me and I worship and exalt You over all the nations, Your glory above the heavens. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord shall I praise? Let me be filled with Your peace, wrap me in Your identity and seat me with Yourself in a place of honour before God.
Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn Your commands. Let me pray attention and listen to the sayings of the wise, let me apply my heart to what You teach; for it is pleasing when I keep them in my heart and have all Your teachings ready upon my lips from the Lord.
My trust is in You, O Lord, You counsel me in knowledge, teachings, and prayers. Your Word is reliable and true words that I can give a sound answer to those You send to me. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life.
Save me, for I am Yours I have sought out Your precepts. Now, I shall get up and stand on my feet. You have appeared to me Jesus, You have appointed me as Your servant and a witness of what I have seen You doing, I am Your witness and You will rescue me from my own people and You are sending me to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness into the light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those sanctified by faith in Christ.
Father, I have not been disobedient to the vision You have given to me from heaven. I praise You and I commit and commend my life to You through this prayer for Your glory, kingdom and name. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Lord, Keep me Safe’

Psalm 16:1-2, 5-9 NIV Keep me safe, O God, for in You I take refuge. I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing.”
Lord, You have assigned me my portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure.

2 Thessalonians 3:2-5 NIV And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance?

Prayer

O my precious Lord, keep me safe, for in You I take refuge. I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing.”  Lord, You have signed me my potion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise You, O Lord, for You counsel me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set You Lord before me always. Because You are at my right hand, I will not be shaken, therefore, my heart is so glad and my tongue rejoices my body also will rest secure. I pray You would deliver me from wicked and evil men/women for not everyone has faith. But You Lord are faithful, and You will strengthen and protect me from the evil one.
I have confidence in You, Lord that I am doing and will continue to do the things You command me to do in obedience to Jesus Christ, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

Lord, You have redeemed my life from the pit and You have crowned me with the love and compassion. You saved my life. You, Lord, delight in a man’s way. You delight to make my steps firm; I will not fall, for You, Lord, uphold me with Your righteous right hand. I will be still before You Lord, and wait patiently for You as I commit my ways to the Lord and trust in Him in all things. I praise and bless You, Lord, now and forever in Christ. Amen.

New Blog Post: 'A House Of Prayer' - Daily Devotional

Reconstruct Me

Reading: Zechariah 1:12-16

“You will rebuild me.”

Prayer

Father, You are doing something wonderful in my life and will continue to do something wonderful through me. Father, I have been called an outcast because I love Jesus, but this will not stop me becoming all you want me to become through the Holy Spirit of God. Lord Jesus, please will You restore my health and heal all my wounds. Will You bring me home again from my captivity? Will You restore to my fortunes, which the locusts stole from me? You will rebuild my life on my ruins. You will reconstruct me, and I will rejoice and sing songs of thanksgiving to God with all my heart. You will multiply everything to me and establish me. I will be invited to approach Your throne. Let me do this out of love, respect, boldness, and faith and with a courageous heart before God. Please, may I find Your divine favour as I commit this prayer to You in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

God is doing some amazing things within our lives and will continue to do wonderful things through us. He outpours His divine favour upon us, because we are called outcast in our love for Jesus Christ. This should not deter us from becoming all God wants us to become. Jesus will restore us back to health. He heals our wounds and brings us out of captivity. He restores our fortunes and rebuilds our lives from the ruins we have been in. He is reconstructing us into the people He wants us to become. He gives us boldness in faith with a courageous heart to do what He desires to be done for the glory, kingdom, and His Name.

New Blog Post: ‘Keep Me From All Temptation’

1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Isaiah 59:12 ESV For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities.

Prayer

Almighty God, I seek Your face and Your glory. I praise and adore You and I love You with all of my heart, mind, body, soul, spirit and strength. You are my One and only true God, and I desire to serve You and You alone.
I desire to receive Your attitudes, Your characteristics and Your very nature and I want always be yoked to You in Jesus Christ in everything I do. I also ask You to renew my mind and heart, so You will enable me to have the same heart and mind as Jesus Christ has. Help me through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God, to pray in unison with Him for the glory and praise and honour of our heavenly Father. I ask Him to guide and lead me and teach me to pray in accordance to His will so we will enable and empower me to pray and intercede for the heart and core of His people in the way He wants me to pray.
For God, You are faithful; You will not let me be tempted beyond the measure of faith You have given to me and what I can bear. When I am tempted, You will always provide a way out so that I can stand up under the temptation.

I ask You to set a guard upon my mouth and watch the door of my lips. Let my eyes be focused and fixed upon You, O Sovereign Lord; in You I take refuge- do not give me over to death. Keep me from the snares they have laid down for me, from the traps of evildoers. Help me to pass in safety so I can keep close to God for the glory and praise of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Walk in Love’

Ephesians 5:2 ESV And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, I thank You and praise You for all of the help and love You pour into my heart, to love and embrace the heart and core of Your people. I choose to love the unlovable for the glory and sake of Christ Jesus name.

He has shown me the real meaning of love and what it is. This is the greatest sacrifice I can make is by choosing to love those who are not easy to love. I nail all my self-interest to the Cross and obey Christ’s commandments to love, regardless of the nature of the people I encounter, or how I feel in any given moment, or the circumstances I am in.

I shall practice sacrificial love and put away the old ‘me-first’ life style, and I will be full of joy and power of God’s love to release greatly through my life. I want to love, just the way Jesus Christ loves me and I will follow His example by loving others. I honour, praise, and bring all the glory to my heavenly Father, through the almighty name of Jesus Christ and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God I give thanks. Amen.

New Blog Post: 'A House Of Prayer' - Daily Devotional 'Plant the Seeds'

Plant the Seeds

Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:6

“God makes the seeds grow.”

Prayer

O my beloved God, You sent Your Holy Spirit, to be my Helper, Counsellor, and Advocate. He will not do everything for me, as I must do my part also. I ask You to show me where I should plant the seed of Christ in the hearts of men/women and children. I ask the Holy Spirit of God to water and cultivate these seeds and pull out all the weeds so these plants can grow in their lives. I ask You to produce a great and healthy harvest from the seeds of Christ, which are planted to bring glory and honour to God through my witness and testimony. I will not try to do Your part anymore nor will I do things in my strength. I will be obedient to Your commands in the submission to Your Spirit in Christ Jesus name. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

We must plant the seeds of Christ in every heart and pray God’s Spirit will water the seeds and make them grow. We have to believe that He will lead us to His people and trust that He will speak to them through us to bring the Good News of the Gospel of Christ to them. We must do this in faith. As long as we do our part, God will do the rest. He knows who His people are. He knew them before the world began. Prayer is the key to all things with God. We must communicate with Him and ask Him to work His supernatural power in the lives of His people. After all, He is the only One who can make His people grow into strong believing Christians.

New Blog Post: ‘God Honours Faith’

Joshua 3:13 ESV And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be the cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap.

Prayer

Almighty God, thank You that You honour faith “Obstinate Faith” that the Promise sees and “looks to that alone.” I will not overlook the fact of my faith for it helps God to carry out His plans over my life and the lives of others. I shall come up to the help of the Lord, and I shall receive the help He offers me.

My faith assists God. It can stop the mouth of the lions and quenches the violence of fire. My faith will honour God, and God will honour me for my faith, love, trust, and confidence I have in Him. This faith God has given to me will go on, leaving You, O God, to fulfil all the promises You have made with me when You see fit!

Let me shoulder the load, and do not let me look as if I am carrying God’s coffin. It is the Ark of the Living God! I shall sing as I march towards the flood.

Holy Spirit, let me wear the Spirit of Boldness, for this is one of the most essential qualities of my faith, that is to attempt great things for God, and I do expect great things from God, this is holy audacity. I am dealing with a supernatural Being, and taking from Him things that are humanly impossible, it is easier to take much than little; it is easier to stand in a place of audacious trust than in a place of cautious, timid clinging to the shore. Like a wise seaman in the life of faith, let me launch out into the deep, with Christ Jesus, and find all things are possible with God, and all things are possible unto him “that believe in Him”, for His strength accomplish me always and forever more in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
