A SEASON AND A REASON
I have come that they may have life, and that
they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
The
assurance of Jesus is that because God is with us, we do not have to give in
to, sink beneath, or become defeated by troubles. We can face them, confront
them, challenge them, deal with them, and in the end overcome them! What
consolation this should bring to our hearts.
Jesus taught His followers that all challenges are passing in nature.
Sickness and trouble are for a season and for a reason.… Jesus’ very life was
for a season and a reason. Even His death and burial in a tomb were only for a
season and a reason!
