Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He
will show you which path to take.
I believe if God commands you to do
something, then we must do so in obedience to Him. We cannot live our lives solely upon our human
feelings and emotions. He wants us to walk by faith and not by sight putting
our whole trust in Him.
When Jesus Christ asks us to do
something for Him, we have a choice whether we are going to obey Him or be
disobedient. From my own personal experience I have found obeying God is the
only way. We must include the Holy Spirit of God in each situation we face and
include Him in our decision making. He will be the One to determine what is
right and best for us.
