New Blog Post: ‘God’s Way of Preparing Us’

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.

Prayer

Lord God, Your Word inspires and teaches me what is true and right. It makes me realize what is wrong within my life. It straightens me out and teaches me to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing me in every way, fully equipping me with His power for every good thing He wants me to do. My desire is to apply God’s Word to my life through Jesus Christ my precious Lord.

Holy Spirit, I ask for Your Wisdom and Discernment which will teach me to test everything that claims to be true. Show me how in discern those truths against the Scriptures. I ask You to make me feel so uncomfortable within my spirit, soul and heart when the darkness tries to deceive me with lies, deceit and deception. I do not want to step out of God’s will any longer. I want to walk in the Truth, the Way and the Life through Jesus Christ. He has given me His life through His Cross and His Blood which He shed for me a sinner on the Cross of Calvary. He remembers my sins no more and He has set me free once and for all.

Keep me on the path of righteousness, holiness and godliness. The Word of God is my safe guard against false teaching and it is my Source of Knowledge about how I can be saved. Almighty God, You want to show me how You want me to live for You. I want this too. Please equip and empower me from heaven above and show me how to do this.

Bind and block the spirit of confusion within me in the name of Jesus Christ. Show me clearly God’s will by keeping me in the centre of His will in Jesus Christ’s name in everything I do.

Develop me in confident faith, trust, and love in God. Do not let me throw away this confident trust in the Lord no matter what happens. Let me remember the great reward it brings me. Patient endurance is what I need now, so I will continue to be in God’s will. Then I will receive all that You have promised me.

I praise and give our Heavenly Father, all the glory, honour and praise as I willingly surrender, submit and relinquish my life to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Use me Lord where You desire to use me. Help me to make a difference in the world. I pray that the seeds that I sow will be of the good seed and soil. Holy Spirit I ask You to water those good seeds so they will grow and bring a great harvest to God, full to overflowing, for His honour, glory and praise now and always in Christ Jesus our precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Restore our Joy’

Psalm 126:4-6 NLT Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, restore to me my fortunes, as streams renew the desert. Those of us, who plant in tears, will harvest with shouts of joy. We weep and plant the seeds, but we will sing for joy as we return with glorious harvest, bringing praise and thanksgiving to God.

Jesus, You have the abilty to restore my life and it is beyond my understanding. Although I have been burnt down, You are able to grow me back. You are able to heal my broken bones. Even in my sorrow and grief it is not a permanent condition. My tears can be seeds that will grow into a great harvest full of joy, because You, O God are able to bring good out of tragedy.

My times of grief and sorrow will end and once again I will find my joy in You. Help me to find patient endurance is what I need now, so I can continue to be in God’s will, and then I will reap the reward of the great harvest of joy which is coming my way.

I shall give all the honour, glory and praise with thanksgiving to God through the Holy Spirit of God, in the precious and Holy Name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord now and always. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘God Can Fix Lives’

Ephesians 2:8-9 NCV I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves. It was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, thank You for giving me Your ability, this helps me to change my thinking. Help me strip myself of the old evil nature and former way of life, which is rotten through and through, full of lusts and deceptions. Instead, I ask You to work in me more by a spiritual renewal of my thoughts and attitudes, so I can become more like Jesus Christ.

Help me to display my new nature in the nature of Christ. I am a new creation, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that I should walk in Him. I desire to become into God’s likeness – righteous, holy, and true. By grace I have been saved through my faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit of God helps me to live my life in faith and I cannot take any of the credit for this; it is a gift from God.

I am God’s Master Piece. He has created me anew in Christ Jesus. I can do the good things; He planned for me long ago. God can and will mend all of my life that has been wrong, I trust Him to do this. His note of love is attached to my heart through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. I praise and thank Him for the joy of His Salvation. I appreciate everything He has done for me now and always. Amen.

Exodus 33:19 NCV The Lord answered, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will announce My name, the Lord, so you can hear it. I will show kindness to anyone whom I want to show kindness, and I will show mercy to anyone to whom I want to show mercy.”

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have promised me that You will make all Your goodness pass before me, and You will call out Your name ‘the Lord’, to me.

I have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so I will walk with Him, being rooted and built up in Him and be established in the faith, as He has taught me, abounding in my faith with praise and thanksgiving, having being renewed in concentration on the Word of God.

Let Your principles and the power of God’s Word be in my mind. Lord, weave Your principles nature, and characteristics into my behaviour helping me through the Holy Spirit of God to follow Your example and become more like You and less like me.

Restore and ignite within me the flame of God my great passion for Jesus Christ. Do not allow me to fall away from my faith, but keep me always on fire for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, enabling me and empowering me to exalt and praise Your holy name with a deep and renewed pure heart in the heart of Christ.

Let me minister once again focusing on service to others, ministering practical needs to others because this is a great stimulus for reversing spiritual erosion and it releases the power and love of God within me to those who need it through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

2 Timothy 2:21-26 NCV All who make themselves clean from evil will be used for special purposes. They will be made holy, useful to the Master, ready to do any good work.

But run away from the evil young people like to do. Try hard to live right and to have faith, love, and peace together with those who trust in the Lord from pure hearts. Stay away from foolish and stupid arguments because you know they grow into quarrels. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, a good teacher and patient. The Lord’s servant must gently teach those who disagree. Then maybe God will let them change their minds so they can accept the truth. And they will wake up and escape from the trap of the devil who catches them to do what he wants.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I ask You to help me to keep myself pure and run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Do not let me get involved in foolish arguments that starts fights, but help me to be a utensil for every good work and ready for the Master’s use. Let me follow You because this makes me want to do what is right. Let me pursue faith, love, and peace and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

As Your servant I must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, sometimes I find this difficult to do, so I ask You to grant me the grace to be able to do this.

Help me to be patient and effective with difficult people. Help me gently to teach those who oppose the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the Devil’s trap. I know what the devil is capable of doing. Before I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord I was in the devils camp. The Devil held me captive to do whatever he wanted me to do. Jesus Christ came and rescued and saved me from all my evil ways. He set me free and all the devils works are bound on earth as it is in heaven which seek to rise up and molest me in the almighty name of Jesus Christ. Jesus, I thank You for breaking down all the strongholds and freeing me from the prison I was in.

I also ask You Jesus, to bind up the broken – hearted and speak to them Lord, that they can be absolutely certain what You did for me You have also have done for them on the Cross of Calvary. Break-down every stronghold in every life which has yet to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, granting them the true knowledge and understanding that You are Lord and Saviour of their lives. You came to this world to save Your people. May each and every one of your people know true joy of knowing that having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world is the most important relationship they will ever have now and forever more? Amen.
