New Blog Post: "God’s Grace"

Psalm 45:2 NIV Your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you for ever.

We all need to be filled with the Spirit of grace and supplication continually asking God to anoint our lips. This helps and enables us to walk in the path of peace with Jesus Christ our Lord. It is the Holy Spirit of God who convicts us of sin, and reveals to us God’s righteousness and judgment and helps us to pray with faith.
In the same way, the Spirit of God helps us in our weaknesses and makes us bold and courageous making us strong warriors through our prayer lives for the kingdom of God.
Praying the Word of God back to God is very effective. A great prayer to use within the Bible is in Colossians 1:9-14. You can use this Scripture to pray for the people God lays upon your heart in intercessory prayer. It is in the supernatural power of God’s Word which nothing on earth can destroy. It gives confidence to our souls, spirits and hearts knowing we are praying in the will of God to glorify Him. This Scripture helps us to overcome the trials and tribulations we may face.
Constantly, we need to keep our eyes focused upon God and His truths. We need to be filled in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. We need to seek the face of our Lord Jesus Christ asking Him to enable and empower us in His strength to overcome our own fleshly desires which may get in the way of His will being done. Asking Jesus Christ to grant us His divine favour, love, grace, mercy and peace is what we need to do on a daily basis. Recognising we have a loving Saviour who dwells and lives within our hearts will help us to overcome any difficulties we may have to face on this earth.

New Blog Post: "Obedient To God"

Hebrews 5:8-10 NIV  He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered and once made perfect, He became the Source of Eternal Salvation for all who obey Him and designated by God.

God is the One who teaches us how to be obedient. It is through suffering and allowing God to change our ideas and mind-set that we learn how to walk closer with God. God wants all His children to become into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. This is why He sent the Holy Spirit of God to live within us and to teach us how to do this. Having God’s Spirit living within us is the greatest insight we could ever have. He gives us the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to know what God wants us to do. As we read God’s Word and pray to Him through the Holy Spirit of God our faith and trust begins to come alive with the knowledge of God guiding and leading us into his perfect will.
Our lives must be built upon the foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ. When we build our lives upon Christ His life begins to overflow within our hearts and we begin to see our life changing. Walking in submission and being obedient to God is a personal choice only we can make no one can make this decision for us. This is when we have to put our trust and faith into action and trust God to deliver us through into the places He has ordained for us to be. God is a faithful God and He never does anything by half measure. He wants each one of His children to have patience and learn how to wait for Him with undivided attention upon Him no matter what our circumstances may be.
We must want to live our lives being obedient and surrendered to Him not because we have to but because we want to. In my own personal experience since I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord the desires of my heart has been to be completely surrendered to God through Jesus Christ because He knows what is best for me.

New Blog Post: "Trusting In God"

Psalm 119:57 NIV You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to obey Your Words.

I have found trusting in God has been the best decision I could have made. Man/women had let me down big time but meeting God has reversed my thinking and He showed me He would never let me down.
My relationship with Jesus Christ is growing daily. He has given me the gift of faith to believe I would be able to overcome all of the wrong thoughts which were contrary to His will. He convicts me when I step out of line and disciplines me through the Holy Spirit of God. He gives me the confidence to know He has forgiven me as I place my trust in Him. My expectations are in God. I pray consistently to Him and I do expect Him to work out His purposes for me. He never gets things wrong and what He says He will surely do. Freedom comes when we do things in the way that honours God. He wants us to be obedient to Him and obey His laws and decrees. This does not inhibit or restrain us instead it frees us to be what God designed us to be. Seeking God’s salvation and forgiveness gives us freedom from sin and the resulting oppressive guilt. We must live in the way God wants us to live so He can fulfill His purpose in the plans He has for our lives. If you want to please God and honour Him with our lives, we must get to know His Word.

New Blog Post: "God’s Guidance"

Isaiah 28:29 NKJV This also comes from the Lord of Hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.

Have you ever wondered how God will guide you through your situations? He made a promise through Jesus Christ to send the Holy Spirit of God to personally teach each one of us how to recognise Him and help us know how to follow Him.
One of the ways we do this is through prayer and reading the Word of God. We call upon the Name of God expecting Him to answer us. We must invite Him into our hearts to guide us to the places He desires for us to be. He wants to lead us into a great future He has planned for us as individuals. He asks us to completely surrender and submit to the Holy Spirit of God and listen and obey Him when He calls our names.
God will use all things to get our attention. It may be through trials, sickness and unexpected sources but He does not want us to leave Him out of any of the situations we may find ourselves in. He wants us to include and communicate with Him in our everyday lives. It may be through people, thought or experiences that we encounter Him we must always be willing to investigate and make sure it is God who is speaking and directing the path He wants us to take. We must be open to all of God’s surprises that are waiting for us and be ready to receive them with open arms. God does not get things wrong. We have to learn how to discern what is from God and what is from man.

New Blog Post: "Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God"

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2 NKJV)

When troubles come our way, the first thing we must do is seek the face of God through Jesus Christ our Lord and learn how to depend upon the Holy Spirit of God. We do this by asking the Holy Spirit of God to teach us how to pray.

I have found in my own personal relationship with God that prayer has never let me down. God has always been faithful to me and answered me in a way that was best for me. It may not have been to my liking at times but having Jesus’ power living on the inside of me has taught me how to trust in Him. God will never get it wrong. He knows what He is doing and why. He searches our hearts, knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
