For I long to visit you so that I can impart to you the faith [*] that will help your church grow strong in the Lord. Then, too, I need your help, for I want not only to share my faith with you but to be encouraged by yours: Each of us will be a blessing to the other. (Romans 8:10-12 TLB)

                                                                   Prayer

Lord Jesus, I thank You that my feet has been made firm in You. I shall not slip or fall because I am sustained in You. 

I keep praying for the opportunity for God to visit me, so that I can impart my faith and trust from Him to you and help our church to grow strong in the Lord. 

I am a person of integrity in Christ – a person who doesn't rely on false pretence. I have no need to boast or lie or fumble with false inventions to earn acceptance or keep the peace. My integrity doesn't muff responsibility but I delight in being loyal to the Lord Jesus Christ my precious Lord. I will not listen to words embroidered with flattery and dishonest intentions that make an ugly pattern to kept hidden in the cabinet of mistakes. I shall avoid this behaviour at all costs. I love honesty and faithfulness; I love the wholesomeness and the incorruptibility of my soul. I give all the honour, praise, glory, and thanksgiving to my precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

So ever since we first heard about you we have kept on praying and asking God to help you understand what he wants you to do; asking him to make you wise about spiritual things;  and asking that the way you live will always please the Lord and honor him, so that you will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time you are learning to know God better and better.                                                                    Prayer

Gracious and loving Heavenly Father, ever since I first heard about You; I have kept on praying and asking You, O God; to help me understand what You want me to do; asking You to make me wise about spiritual things, and asking that the way that I live will always please You, Lord, and honour You, so that I will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time I am learning to know You better and better.

Father God, Your power has transformed my life because I invited You to do so. I made the decision right from the moment I met with You, to allow You; to transform my life the way You wanted too. 

Even when the demands of the day may drain me of strength or rob me of the joy that is rightfully mine. But even in my busiest day – or my darkest – I can be comforted in the knowledge that You have the power to renew my spirit and my life. I have a new beginning with You, and nothing on this earth will steal my new beginning with You. My heart is turned towards God. I have discovered that my great Creator of the universe is in the business of making all things new – including me. I surrender, relinquish, yield and commit my will and ways to the ways of Jesus Christ now and forever more. Amen.

Father, I thank You that You have filled my life in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. You have made me rejoice because I have put my trust in You. 

The evidence of Your presence is all around me and in me. You have heard my prayers in the wind of Your Spirit. My loving gracious heart has touched Yours; our discussion has been recorded and honoured. You are fulfilling Your Word in me today, and blessings, like rain rushing to the earth, are coming to me. I shall rejoice I put my trust in You. I shall keep shouting for joy because You are defending me. You fill all who love You with Your happiness. For You bless the godly man, O Lord; and protect them with Your shield of love in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Gracious God, thank You that I am ‘Born Again’ in Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Now, I set my affections on the things above, and will not get side-tracked by the the racket I hear from below  – in the basement of life. My life belongs to Jesus Christ and I shall keep my sights on the rich treasures and joys of heaven where He sits beside God in the place of honour and power. I shall let heaven fill my thoughts; and will not spend my time worrying about the things down here on earth.  

Jesus, You are in the holy penthouse on the top floor, where there’s a rooftop garden of delights up there, sweet, succulent, happy, peace-fed. I thank You that I can come and join the feast with You forever more. Amen.

Come, kneel before the Lord our Maker, for he is our God. We are his sheep, and he is our Shepherd. Oh, that you would hear him calling you today and come to him!

Father, I will stand and praise You, before all the people. I will publicly fulfil my vows in the presence of all the people who reverence Your name. I will praise You for Your majestic glory, the glory of Your name. Let me come before You clothed in sacred garments. Let me come and kneel before the Lord my Maker, for He is my God. I am one of His sheep, and He is my Shepherd. 

Today, I shall walk in the Holy Spirit of God, then I will not become entangled in fleshy stuff of futile worldliness. I shall stay vitally close to You and I will experience the myriad benefits You offer me, setting my soul like a clock and come to Your throne more often. 

I come to You with my praise and worship with gratitude; adoration and love in faith through Jesus Christ. I shall worship You alongside with the legions of angels who know that praise is the fountain from which Your blessings flow. Your holy ears respond to my faith, and my faith has been nourished and trained by the Holy Spirit of God to worship You. I ask Your favour to explode over me enabling and empowering me, to be all that You created me to be through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and he will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; he will not resent it. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer. (James 1:5-8 TLB)

                                                                    Prayer

Father, I thank You, when I ask You what You want me to do, all I have to do is ask You for wisdom and You will gladly tell me. You always are ready to give me a bountiful supply of wisdom and grace to do what I need to do in You. I will not allow my feelings of inadequacy to visit me for one moment, for You have shown me in You I shall never be inadequate for the tasks You assign to me. 

I need grace to have the courage to relinquish my jungle of responsibilities to You. You have empowered me spiritually for greatness. I will not surrender my glorious power in You for a sackful of cheesy self-doubt. You are accomplishing Your purpose in me, and the choices I face today depend on my brave, wise frame of mind. Your grace brings me a caravan of rewards when I least expect it. I come to You in faith, expecting You, Lord, to give me all the solid answers I need to have to be obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ, for ever and always. Amen.

O my precious God, You have touched my eyes and said, “Because of my faith it will happen.” Because of my little faith, “Jesus told me, “For if you have faith even as small as a tiny mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, “Move!’ And it would go far away. Nothing would be impossible.

Father, I am beginning to realise the power I have in You. I posses unlimited power when I exercise my faith in whom I am in You. I honour You and demonstrate Your authority in human lives and events by confidently and assuredly exercising my faith in You. 

My faith can only expand when I use it. When things are difficult my faith becomes a living illustration of Your power and grace that dwells within me. My faith can be as small as a mustard seed, and it's sufficient to rattle mountains. Today, I put my faith to use as never before. I shall enjoy the leading of Your will and pray the impossible through the Holy Spirit of God and move the mountains that stand in the way of my walk with God in Jesus Christ. Amen.
