‘Return unto Me’

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Return to Me; for I have sought after you, but you have continued on in pursuit of your own ways. I have called to you, but you have disregarded Me. I have placed obstacles in your path, hoping that you would stop and consider and ask of Me, but you have obstinately and determinedly forged on ahead.

Have you learned no wisdom? Have past lessons fled your mind? Are My dealings with you forgotten?

O stubborn and rebellious child, has My love no longer the power to melt your heart? Have My words that you once so treasured become of no value to you?

Put down your anxieties, and trust Me for everything. You need nothing but what I am fully able to supply, with no effort on your part. I do not ask all My children to live in so complete a degree of trust, but I require it of you, because you cannot please Me with anything less.

You are weary, and you should be strong. You are encumbered, and I would have you free. You are hindered by undue concerns, when you should be abounding in joy.

Come back into my perfect will, and finish the task I have assigned you. Anything else is sin. What may be legitimate for another is not so for you.

Come close to Me, and I will minister to you and revive your spirit. So shall you go on, even though the climb is steeper than ever before?

Prayer

Lord, I will praise You with all of my heart. I will tell of all the miracles You have done. I will be happy because of You; God Most High. I will sing praises to Your holy name.

My enemies turn back; they are overwhelmed and die because of You. You have heard my complaint; You sit on Your throne and judge what was right. You spoke strongly against the foreign nations and destroyed the wicked; You wiped out their names forever and ever. The enemy is gone forever You destroyed their cities; no one even remembers them.

But the Lord rules forever. He sits on His throne to judge, and He will judge the world in fairness, He will decide what is fair for the nations.

The Lord defends those who suffer; You defend us in times of trouble. Those who know the Lord trust Him because He will not leave those who come to Him. Sing praises to the Lord for He is the King on Mount Zion. I will tell the nations what He has done. He remembers who the murderers are; He will not forget the cries of those who suffer.

Lord, have mercy upon me. See how my enemies hurt me. Do not let me go through the gates of death.

Then at the gates of Jerusalem, I will praise You; I will rejoice because You saved me. I cannot praise and give thanks to You enough for all the goodness You have bestowed upon me always and forever more through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

Prayer

O my beloved God, I trust in You for my protection. Save me and rescue me from those who are chasing me. Otherwise, like a lion they will tear me apart. They will rip me to pieces; and no one can save me.

Lord my God, what have I done? Have my hands done something wrong? Have I done wrong to my friend or stolen without reason from my enemy? If I have, let my enemy chase me and capture me. Let him trample me into the dust and bury me in the ground.

Lord, rise up in Your anger; stand up against my enemies' anger. Get up and demand fairness. Gather the nations around You and rule them from above. Lord, judge the people. Lord, defend me because I am right, because I have done no wrong, God Most High. God, You do what is right. You know my thoughts and feelings. Stop those wicked actions done by evil people, and help those who do what is right.

God, You protect me like a shield; You save those whose hearts are right. God, You judge what is right, and God, You are always ready to punish the wicked. If they do not change their lives, You will sharpen Your sword; You will string Your bow and take aim. You have prepared Your deadly weapons; You have made Your flaming arrows.

There are people who think up evil and plan trouble and tell lies. They dig a hole to trap others, but they will fall into it themselves. They will get themselves into trouble; the violence they cause will hurt only them Lord, help them to do what is right.

I praise You, Lord because You do what is right. I will sing praises to the Lord Most High and give thanks for everything You do for me through the Lord Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

“Comfort in Affliction”

Hosea 5:15 “Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

O My people, has not My hand fashioned for you many signs and wonders? Have I not ministered to you in miraculous ways? How is it you say therefore in your heart, “I will turn again to human strength”? How often have I spoken to you and never failed to keep My word? Will you not, then, trust Me now in this new emergency, even as you have trusted Me in the past?

Your need is greater this time, and so I have made the testing more acute. I strengthen you in the furnace of affliction and purify your soul in the fires of pain.

Lean hard upon Me, for I bring you through to new victories, and restoration shall follow what seems now to be a wind of destruction.

Hold fast to My hand, and rest in My love, for of this you may be very certain: My love is unaltered; yes, I have you in My own intensive care. My concern for you is deeper now than when things are normal.

Draw upon the resources of My grace, and so shall you be equipped to communicate peace and confidence to your dear ones. Heaven rejoices when you go through trials with a singing spirit. Your Father’s heart is cheered when you endure the test and do not question His mercy.

Be like a beacon light. His own glorious radiance shall shine through you, and Christ Himself will be revealed.

Lord, You are our Lord; Your name is the most wonderful name in all the earth! It brings You praise in heaven above. You have taught children and babies to sing praises to You because of Your enemies and destroy those who try to get even.

I look at Your heavens, which You made with Your fingers. I see the moon and stars which You created. But why are people important to You? Why do You take care of human beings? You made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honour. You put them in charge of everything You made; You put all things under their control; all the sheep, the cattle, and the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that lives under the water.

Lord, our Lord, Your name is the most wonderful name in all the earth! I will praise You, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell all the miracles You have done. I will be happy because of You.
