New Blog Post: 'Come Away My Beloved – Francis J Roberts'

Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

“One Day as a Time”

O My child, have you not known the way of the Lord, and can you not trust Him now? Nothing shall befall you but that which comes from His hand. No one shall set upon you to hurt you, for your God has built around you a wall of fire.
Be content with what each day brings, rejoicing in your God, for surely He shall deliver you. He is the One who has brought you here.
His way is discernible to the eye of faith. His heart is surely your strong tower. In His affection you have security. In His love are your hope and your peace.
Do not question and do not doubt. Each day holds some small joy that shall escape you if your preoccupied with tomorrow.
Nothing daunts your Father. Nothing can restore the past and nothing can bind the future, but today you may live in the full blessing of the Father’s smile. Hold to His words, for they are like a nail driven into solid wood. All else may seem shifting and transitory, but His Word is firm. It is a rock that shall not be moved. It is a firm place to stand.
Do not walk in the path of human reason, and resist the pressures that would project you into conjectures about the future. Live one day at a time! Simply striving to bring joy to your Father’s heart is enough to keep you occupied. For you know that He loves you, and you find your peace as you rest in Him.

New Blog Post: “Guide our Life”

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, not it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Prayer

Father, thank You that You are now going to do a new thing within my life and it shall spring forth because You have told me through the Word of God. I know it shall come to pass in the precious name of Jesus Christ my Lord.
The Holy Spirit of God will make a road for me and I shall follow Him. He will give me guidance and instruction in the way He wants me to go and I shall be faithful to Him in obedience to Jesus Christ.
You are working in my present situation, but You are also looking towards the future which You have promised to me. I am living my life in the here and the now, the past has gone to dust. Use the ashes of my life to glorify and exalt the Name of Jesus Christ my precious Lord. You are love and You will always be at work in the lives of Your people, my family, my friends and my own personal life. I praise You. I magnify and glorify You giving thanks to the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lessons to be Learnt

Do you believe God is in charge of your life? Do you believe He is guiding and leading you with His divine counsel? We are able to trust in the Holy Spirit of God through our faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will obey My commands. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you and He will be in you” (John 14:16-17NCV).
It is the Holy Spirit of God who brings us the truth from our heavenly Father and He discloses and tells us the truth which He hears from our Father bringing the truth to our hearts. He has planned our lives. He knows where we are at present and He also wants to work towards our future. We must live in the here and the now, the past has gone to dust. God will use the ashes of our lives to glorify and exalt the Name of Jesus Christ. Sometimes we may feel dry and in a barren desert. This is the time to seek the face of God and ask Him for a fresh touch which we can receive from Him.
The wonderful thing about God is that He is never at a distance. He is always beside us prompting us to do what is right.

New Blog Post: “Face the Future”

Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer

Father, You give me the confidence to face my future with You. I shall always seek first the kingdom of God and Your righteousness, before I do anything. My confidence, faith, and trust are in the confidence of God. You are carefully, wisely, and deliberately orchestrating all things within my life in accordance to Your schedule and eternal designs for me. I can be secure because You are in full control of what this year will bring forth for me. My confidence is not in my abilities, but in Your omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence.
Father, You are all-seeing, all-caring and nothing catches You by surprise. Nothing will ever thwart Your purpose for me. I will not worry about tomorrow. You are already there. You will guide me through the fog, lift me above the pain and clarify my uncertainty. I shall be confident in Thee, for the praise and honour of Jesus Christ’s name. Amen

Lessons to be Learnt

I have learnt through the Holy Spirit of God how to lean upon Him and put my confidence in Him. He has my whole future in His hands and He knows what He wants to do within my life. I shall always acknowledge Him and seek His kingdom and His righteousness. He has given me confident faith to trust in Him. I know God is orchestrating all things within my life in accordance to His schedule and eternal designs for me. I can be secure in this because without a shadow of a doubt I know He is in full control of every detail my life and He holds all the keys. My confidence is not in my own abilities, but in His omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence in Him.
He is an all-seeing, all-caring and nothing catches Him by surprise. He is always one step ahead of me. Nothing will ever thwart the plans or thwart His purposes He has made for me. I have no need to worry about tomorrow. He is already there. He will guide me through the fog, lift me above the pain and clarify my uncertainty. My full confidence is in God. I trust and believe God sent His Holy Spirit to me to be my Helper and He teaches me everything I need to know and He will constantly remind me the things I need to remember. This Helper is the Holy Spirit of God whom the Father put His seal of ownership upon me and He has sent Him to me in His Name.

New Blog Post: In Touch Magazine – Charles Stanley

“Walking Through Dark Valley’s”
Read: Genesis 37:18-28

As a teenager, Joseph lost almost everything. His family, his position as the favoured son, his home, and his freedom were abruptly taken from him. How stunned he must have been by the hatred of his siblings and such overwhelming loss. But one thing he did take with him was his faith in God.

Life is like that at times for every one of us. Sudden changes in health or finances, the unexpected death of a loved one, or abandonment by a good friend can bring us into a dark season. We do not understand why the Lord has allowed the trial or lets the pain continue. Joseph probably wondered the same things, but he managed to hold fast to his faith. Even as a slave in a foreign land, he experienced the blessing of God’s presence. And recognizing that the Lord was with this young captive, his Egyptian master showed him favour (Gen. 39:2-3).

One of the keys to walking through dark valleys—those times when life seems to be crumbling and the future’s looking grim—is to embrace the reality of the Lord’s presence with us. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to live permanently within the new Christian and seals him or her as belonging to God forever. Because of the indwelling Spirit, we’re never apart from God. No circumstance, suffering, or loss can separate us from Him or His love (Rom. 8:35, 38-39).

Take a few minutes each day and reflect on Jesus’ promise to be with us always (Matt. 28:20). The result will be that this truth becomes planted deep within your soul to sustain you in hard times.
