New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Rejoice in the Lord’

Listen to your father’s advice and don’t despise an old mother’s experience. Get the facts at any price, and hold on tightly to all the good sense you can get. (Proverbs 23:22-23 TLB)

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be happy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will give me the speed of a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.
(Habakkuk 3:18-19 TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, yet I will rejoice in Thee, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. He is the Sovereign Lord, He is my strength and I shall not be afraid. I shall listen to my Father, who gave me life, and I will buy the truth and will not sell it. I shall get wisdom; discipline and understanding for this will save my life in Jesus Christ.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations. I am prepared to wait on God’s timing. He has His times for everything. It is not for me to know His times, indeed, I cannot know them, but I must wait for them.
However, long God wants me to wait for the vision He has given to me, whether it is days, months or even years I am prepared to wait for Him. I shall take heart, as I wait for the One who cannot disappoint me; and He will not be five minutes behind the appointed moment and then He shall turn every moment and the long years I’ve waited into joy and His glory.
God, You make me laugh and He never seizes to amaze me at the great and awesome works He does. I will let the all-skilled Pilot alone with His own work as He continues to work behind the scenes in my life. Praise and thanks be to God always in the glory of Jesus Christ my precious Lord, and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

‘Relationship with God’

Reading: Malachi 3:1-6

“The Lord does not change.”

Prayer

Father, my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has given me a living relationship with You and Him. You are an unchanging God, and You love all Your people. All You want is for me to acknowledge Your Son as Lord, Saviour, and Redeemer of my soul. He took the cross and died for us all. He took all of our sins upon Himself, all of the punishment we deserved, and He took it upon Himself so we will be forgiven and be set free. His blood was the atonement for all of our sins. Once I have confessed my sins before God, He washes me in His blood, sanctifies me, and cleanses me from all unholiness, ungodliness, and unrighteousness. My sins are completely forgiven, and He remembers those sins no more. Lord, grant me Your heart, Your wisdom, and Your boldness to say and do what needs to be said. Help me to love the people unconditionally as You love me. Use me as an instrument of Your grace, mercy, and peace. Use me as an instrument to channel Your peace and love to others. Help me to reach out to them and touch them in Your love as soon as possible. My security is in Your Word, now and always. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Having a real relationship with God is what we should ask. He purifies us and has set us free from all unholiness, ungodliness, and unrighteousness. If He wants to use a purifying agent upon us through His shed blood, He was the atonement for all our sins. He washed us in His blood which sanctifies and cleanses us from all unholiness, ungodliness, and unrighteousness. He forgives us completely, and we have been purified by God. His reflection should be seen in our lives as He becomes clearer to those around us.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Jehovah the Lord’

Then Moses asked to see God’s glory.
The Lord replied, “I will make My goodness pass before you, and I will announce to you the meaning of My name Jehovah, the Lord. I show kindness and mercy to anyone I want to. But you may not see the glory of My face, for man may not see Me and live.”
(Exodus 33:18-20 TLB)

Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when He said, ‘I will show Myself holy among those who approach Me, and I will be glorified before all the people”’
(Leviticus 10:3 TLB)

Prayer

Father God, there is only One God, the Father, who created everything. I exist for You. Thank You for giving me talents and abilities to use for Your glory, kingdom and name.
Your Word matters most to You and it matters most to me also. I ask that Your will, will be done over my life, the way You want it to be done.
You have said, ‘Among those who approach You; You will show Yourself holy; in the sight of those people who honour Your name.’ I desire to honour and glorify Your name, so I ask You to show Your holiness, godliness and righteousness to me and to work Your power and Your gifts through me.
You have promised to cause all Your goodness to pass in front of me, and You will announce me to the meaning of Your name Jehovah, the Lord. You will have mercy on whom You will have mercy on, and You will have compassion on those You desire to have compassion on.
You have spoken to me to lead Your people, but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. You said to me, “You know me by name and I have found favour in Your sight.” If I have found favour in Your sight then please teach me Your ways so my relationship with You shall become stronger and deeper.

Remember, that this nation is Your people and so therefore I need Your help to enable me to honour Your name. The Lord replied to me, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.” I will bring all the honour, praise and glory to You through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘My Prayer for Them’

My prayer for all of them is that they be of one heart and mind, just as You and I are, Father – that just as You are in Me and I am in You, so they will be in us, and the world will believe You sent me. (John 17:21 TLB)

Prayer

My prayer for all of Your children Father, is that they maybe of one heart and mind, just as You and I are, Father – that just as You are in Me and I am in You, so they will be in us, and the world will believe You sent Me.
My desire is only to have the things of God that He wants me to have and not the things of man. My desire is to have the plans You have made for me in heaven and I ask You to ground and cement Your plans for my life to the earth. I ask that “Your will be done” on earth as it is in heaven.
I am comforted and encouraged that You, Father, are working in accordance to Your Wisdom, accomplishing what is right and best for me.

I shall not become small-minded or cynical, because I understand it is for Your purpose that I am where You want me to be today. I ask for nothing less for me than the absolute Oneness with Christ, just as He was One with the Father, may I also be the same and be One with them. I know that everything comes from God, and I am grateful and thankful that I can place my trust in Him. I receive and accept that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, He is the Son of God, and He has redeemed and saved me from all my sins to the honour, praise, and glory of my heavenly Father I give thanks. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’

My Heart Rejoices

Reading: 1 Samuel 2:1-2

“Oh how You bless us.”

Prayer

My beloved God, my heart rejoices, for You are my Lord and God. With thanks I give You all my praise, worship, adoration, and love. You pour out all Your blessings upon me, and I have an answer for mine enemies. I will not persecute my enemies nor will I curse them for I am a Christian. I will pray for my enemies and ask God to bless them. Thank You, Lord, for opening my eyes to see Your ways and counselling are the best. Now when others are happy, I will be happy with them, and if they are sad, I will share their sorrow. Help me not to act important but enjoy the company of ordinary people just like Jesus did and do not let me think that I know it all. Help me to do my part and live in peace and harmony with everyone as much as possible. Do not let evil get the best of me, but let me be a conqueror of evil by doing good. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

The moment we meet with the Lord Jesus Christ our hearts become joyous and happy. In fact, our hearts are ready to explode with the love God gives us. Through the Holy Spirit we cannot help but praise and thank Him for everything He has done. Modelling our lives on the teachings of Christ is an example of the way He teaches us to praise God for all His good gifts, acknowledging His ultimate control over the affairs we have in life. He truly is taking care of our needs as He said and promised He would.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Harmony with God’s Spirit’

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33 NIV)
Prayer

Holy Spirit, I ask You to bring me into absolute harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ. You, have spoken to me and told me to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to me as well.
Let my relationship with God be the dominating focus upon my life, and be cautiously carefree about everything else in comparison to that.

My greatest concern is in life to place my relationship with God first and foremost then everything else can come second as regards to Him. I know God is faithful to me and He truly will take care of me and all the needs I have according to His good pleasure. God has told me not to worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will have enough worries of its own. I praise and thank God through the glory of His precious and holy name, in the name of Jesus Christ I do so pray. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘God Gave Me Hope’

So I pray for you Gentiles that God who gives you hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in Him. I pray that God will help you overflow with hope through the Holy Spirit’s power within you. (Romans 15:13 TLB)

Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ. (Philippians 2:5 TLB)

For if you stand firm, you will win your souls. (Luke 21:19 TLB)

For He has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of His dear Son. (Colossians 1:13 TLB)

Prayer

O my beloved God, You have given me so much hope and filled me full of hope which keeps me happy and peaceful as I continue to believe in You. I will with God’s help overflow with hope through the Holy Spirit’s power who resides within me.
Let me have the same absolute attitudes and nature which has been shown to me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Let me stand firm in Him and win souls to the glory and praise and honour of His Kingdom and name.
For He has rescued me out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom, and has brought me into the Kingdom of His dear Son. He has forgiven me all of my sins and I have been given redemption, the forgiveness from all my sins. He has cancelled the written code, with its regulations that were against me and stood opposed to me; He took it away, nailing it to the Cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He has made a public sceptical of them, triumphing over them by the Cross.
He has touched me and my soul is full of joy, through the Holy Spirit of God, He has flooded my soul with His glory and presence!
The moment I accepted and received Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord, I knew He had touched me in a way that I have never known before. He has promised me that He would make me whole. How can I ever thank and praise You enough for all the love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness You have shown towards me through Jesus Christ my precious Lord. Amen.

I Will Not Get Tired

Reading: Galatians 6:9-10

“Do not get discouraged and give up.”

Prayer

Father, do not ever let me get weary and tired of doing good and don’t let me get discouraged nor let me give up. I will reap a harvest of blessings at the appropriate time of God. Help me live to please the Spirit of God and reap a harvest that is pleasing to You. Let me treat people with respect and assist me to be gentle and always help to restore them. Please help me to show people what they need to do for themselves. I do not want to get in the way of any consequences, which You may use to bring change. I ask You Lord to help me to become the person You want me to become. I will reach out in love for God and will seek Your Wisdom to know what to say and do. I will depend upon God for all things even when I make mistakes. I will anchor myself in God’s Word and continually commit myself and loved ones in prayer. Keep my emotions and feelings in check enable and empower me from heaven above to be and do what You command and to do this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Having God’s faithfulness will help us reap a harvest of blessings at His appointed time. Giving up should not be an option for us. We may at times feel discouraged or disappointed, but our faith in God should not deter us from continuing on the path God has prepared for us. He will continually strengthen us through all the trials and tribulations God wants us to face. This is the time when the Holy Spirit of God fills us with His supernatural power, carrying us through each and every trial that comes our way. He will keep our emotions and feelings in check and enable and empower us to do what He commands us to do in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Blessings and Peace’

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you all of His blessings, and great peace of heart and mind.
I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts He has given you, now that you are Christ’s: He has enriched your whole life. He has helped you speak out for Him and has given you a full understanding of the truth; what I told you Christ could do for you has happened! Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing His will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1 Corinthians 1:3-7 TLB)

Prayer

O my precious and beloved God, You are my Father and I want to thank and praise You for Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, my precious Lord. I thank and praise You for giving me all of His blessings, and great peace of heart and mind.
I can never stop thanking and praising God for all the wonderful gifts He has given to me, now that I am Christ’s: He has truly enriched my whole life. He has helped me to speak out for Him and has given to me a full understanding of the truth; what He told me Christ could do for me has happened! Now I have received every grace and blessings; every spiritual gift and power for doing His will are mine during this time of waiting for the return of my Lord Jesus Christ.

He has guaranteed right up to the end that I will be counted free from all sin and guilt on that day He returns. God, You will surely do this for me, for You always do what You say, and You are the One who invited me into a wonderful friendship with Your Son, Jesus Christ and I will always be grateful and thankful to You for everything You have done for me. May Your glory and joy shine forth from my heart and life so others can see there is a great and awesome God dwelling and residing within me? May the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God work His divine power out within me, helping me to do all the things God wants me to do in submission, yielding and obedience to Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Loyalty and Kindness’

Never tire of loyalty and kindness. Hold these virtues tightly. Write them deep within your heart. If you want favour with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don’t ever trust yourself.
Wisdom gives; a long, good life, riches honour, pleasure, peace. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit; happy is the man who keeps on eating it.
Iniquity is atoned for by mercy and truth; evil is avoided by reverence for God.
(Proverbs 3:3-5, 16-18, 16:6 TLB)

Prayer

O my beloved God let me never tire of loyalty and kindness towards others. Help me hold onto these virtues tightly. Write them deep upon my heart, so then I will find favour with both God and man and have a reputation for good judgment and common sense, as I trust in the Lord, completely, I never want to trust myself ever again. Through Your love and faithfulness my sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord. He is Lord, and with His help I can avoid evil.
I receive wisdom from God; it gives me a long, good life, riches, honour, pleasure and peace. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit; happy is the man who keeps eating it. I most certainly want to eat all of God’s good fruits.
I shall wait upon the Lord, I put my hope, love, faith and trust in Him always.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever – increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Let me get my eyes off self, and constantly focus my eyes upon Christ Jesus the Author and Finisher of my faith. Make me more like Him and less like me, I need Him to continually change me.
So let me get up and stand on my own feet with Him. He has appeared to me to appoint me as a servant of the living God to all the nations of His people. To speak and testify what I have seen Him do in my own life and those lives around me. I can testify and be a witness to God that He lives in me and I live in Him.

You have rescued me from my own people. You are sending me to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they will receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ and in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.

New Blog Post: A House Of Prayer – Daily Devotional You bring Me into the Land

Reading: Deuteronomy 7:1-2

“We will occupy God’s land.”

Prayer

Almighty God, You are bringing me into Your land to enter and occupy it. You will clear away many nations ahead of me. When You hand these nations over to me, I must conqueror them. I must completely destroy them, otherwise they will destroy me. You have told me to declare war upon these self-destructive habits. Please eliminate all these bondage's the enemy has within me, preventing me from enjoying the freedom Jesus Christ gave me when You purchased my life on the Cross at Calvary. God, you have destroyed all mine enemies. Lord, show me the root of my problems and show me how to deal with them. Today I am ready to have a positive change in my life. I come to You through the inspiration and the power of the Holy Spirit of God. I will serve the Trinity and the Godhead with all my heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul and have a servant’s heart to glorify You with praise and thanksgiving to our Father God and King. Amen.

Lessons To Be Learnt

Being obedient to God is what He commands us to do. We must not deter or sway to the left or to the right but keep our eyes focused upon Him. Learning to listen to God through His Spirit and through the Word of God is the way in which God will speak to us. He leads us to possess the land where the enemy has had control of our lives so we can glorify His name. God wants us to let go of all the bad habits we had before we accepted Jesus Christ. We must declare war upon these self-destructive habits that are in us. All the bondage's the enemy had, which controlled our lives, need to be broken so these habits will be in us no more. God is the One who should control what we take on board and no one else. He is the One who has given us freedom through His Son Jesus Christ when He took the Cross for us all. We must be ready for positive changes in our lives. We must always have a humble, meek, and lowly heart – a servants’ heart which will glorify God.

New Blog Post: ‘Come Into God’s House Daily to Meet with Him in Prayer’ ‘Wise Advice’

Listen to this wise advice; follow it closely, for it will do you good, and you can pass it on to others: Trust in the Lord.
In the past, haven’t I been right? Then believe what I am telling you now and share it with others. (Proverbs 22:17-21TLB)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I praise and bless You that You have empowered me to become a positive person and have shown me how to focus upon You. I thank You for the countless blessings You have bestowed upon me and I am ever grateful and thankful to You for this.
I will not allow disappointments or discouragements to take hold upon me or my life any further. All my disappointments and discouragements have been overcome by Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary. He has taken all of my sin debt and has paid it in full. My sins have been crucified there with Him and I know You have forgiven me Lord, and You do not hold anything against me any longer. You, have forgiven me Lord, now I am able to forgive myself from all the sins I had offended You in Christ Jesus my precious Lord.
I shall pay attention and listen to the wise; I shall apply my heart to what You have taught me, for it is pleasing to You when I keep Your teachings within my heart, mind, spirit and soul. I have Your Word written upon my heart and when You know I am ready to speak, and then the Holy Spirit of God shall prompt me to do so.
I place my trust completely in You Lord Jesus as You continue to teach me day by day. You have written thirty one sayings upon my heart (Proverbs 1-31); sayings of counsel and knowledge, teaching me true and reliable words, so that I can give sound answers to Him who sent me.
Father God, I pray through the Holy Spirit of God, You would grant to me a discerning spirit, to discern the father of lies the devil, so that he does not deceive me anymore. The truth of Jesus Christ has set me free and I am no longer in bondage. Keep me well within the boundaries of the measure of faith You have given to me in Christ, for only He can meet all my emotional and physical and spiritual needs I have.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for answering this prayer. I receive everything I need to do the will and work of my heavenly Father to the glory, honour, praise of His mighty kingdom and name. Amen
